Born in a ducal family, Nathaira as a girl is neglected at their house. However, it all changed when she enrolled herself in Yothopyia Institute where she became the best.
Swordsmanship, magic, strategy and etiquette. The professors are amazed at her every stride, calling her the second Rigel. She came two years ahead of Kayne and is now on her third year at the institute but being a junior does not give her any special privileges. Even as a freshman, Nathaira challenged the top of the graduating class and beat him one-sidedly.
She gained popularity and for the first time, her family became proud of her becoming their daughter. Letters of suitors come to their household every day, hoping that they would gain something from Nathaira's influence. However, on top of all of that mess, the young lady has her eyes and heart stuck for only one man which happened to be the Professor that everyone loves – Professor Rigel Regulus.
Nathaira looked at the child who was only two years younger than her. After scanning the lad, she mentally approved of him as his adopted child.
"Yes, it is alright. Even though he had this child, Prof. Rigel will be mine," she mentally whispered to herself. "No one can obstruct our love! Haha." And the serene scenery she had inside her mind changed into warfare.
"Kayne," Rigel called to his child.
Kayne, who almost got himself into trouble earlier, bowed his head in shame and bit his lips.
"Come with us, there's something we need to talk about."
"Father I—" Kayne can't continue his words and let it hang in the air. The thought of his father becoming dissatisfied with his behavior lingered on the back of his mind and he can't help but be nervous on how he'll punish him.
Kayne decided to follow the three without raising any more questions.
When the four of them are out of the scene, the mobs whispering become audible once more with their criticisms targeted to the girl who's talking to Kayne.
"Isn't she a Regulus?"
"Yes, we heard her call him cousin."
"Why is she ignored by Professor Rigel?"
And she received the same reaction they threw at Mallory earlier. Students hid their mouths while snickering at her. Their eyes looked like hungry wolves who finally found their prey.
"I heard she's not from the main family. Haha"
"Shame on her for trying to get on the good sides of the young master."
"Hey, don't you feel bad for Mallory?"
Laughs again.
In spite of those remarks, Yna Theodore et Regulus refused to feel sorry for Mallory and kept her haughty demeanor. She looked at the onlookers with disdain and left on her own.
Kayne Fenriz Regulus, she'll keep that in mind. It is not her fault that she was born in the Theodore household instead of the Regulus'. It is not her fault that she's a daughter of the female Regulus. She'll make the whole family recognize their existence and full potential. For her and her mother's sake who got bed ridden after her last mission. She who knew how the Regulus family operates deserves to be rewarded and not ridiculed.
When she reached her quarters, Yna threw herself on the bed and cried. Despite all that valor, she admits that she's still a child and a woman on top of that. "et Regulus". The name was given to her as a curse. If only she's not born as one of that filthy family.
Feeling satisfied with her crying, she retained her firm face and resolved herself once more to bring the entire family down.
At the same time, Kayne is seriously praying not to be scolded. His father who told him to follow him went outside for a while and he's left with the headmaster and an unknown variable with golden hair.
He already knew the headmaster who sometimes visits their training. But the other one is different, it is his first time to see the lady who keeps looking at him with dangerous eyes while smiling sweetly.

Headmaster Stanz shrugged off the awkward atmosphere and enjoyed the view of Yothopyia Institute from his office where they were waiting for Rigel who excused himself to receive a royal request.
"They can't still order them around, huh?," the headmaster uttered.
"Small thing! My professor is so powerful it is natural for them to only bow their heads."
"Ay... Ay..." Headmaster brushed off Nathaira's comment. "Great power is scary. We should be grateful that that old child isn't unreasonable," he noted before throwing his attention to Kayne. "Do you understand that, young child?"
The headmaster who always looked so calm had his mana berserk and scrutinized Kayne.
Nathaira who's watching the two is sweaty on her own. The headmaster's aura is so thick that she feels like an invisible hand is choking her but what's startling the most is Kayne who's enduring the pandemonium. He's sitting in a relaxed state and not a single of his body hair is afraid of the headmaster's mana. Moreover, the intent is directed to him which is supposed to make him suffer more than the people who are in the background. But the damned kid is staring at the headmaster like a bitch!
She can see it clearly. Kayne's change in attitude when the mana suddenly clouded the entire room. He's smiling like a lunatic being entertained.
Nathaira fell on her knees when the headmaster receded his mana. She gasped for air and crawled back to her chair. The two who's not bothered by her condition are laughing like father and child.
"Is that what he taught you?"
Kayne who also had enough of his laughter nodded on the headmaster's question and smiled cheerfully. A child brimming with innocence. "My father is amazing, isn't he?"
"Ay...ay... He is," Reileigh Stanz answered. His hand is still trembling from what he experienced.
What's sitting in front of him is a monster much scarier than his previous student. If he did not recede his mana, he'll be sucked up dry and before he'll know it, he may die from mana drainage.
