It's been two days since I woke up in this unknown world. I assumed the incident in the bathtub and the people dressed strangely were all just a dream, and that it happened to me because I was totally exhausted. I was hoping it was...I hoped it was but then this old man's story and that little bird's sudden appearance in front of me, telling me that he was a guardian summoned by my mother before she vanished made me reconsider my thoughts. Of course, I quickly inquired as to where my mother was, but the small bird simply stated that he, too, had no idea.
Dang it! Accepting this is a lot more difficult than killing idiots when I was on Earth.
This old man named Carrion claimed that I was the young lady he served at Karsen's Residence.
I woke up puzzled in this world and he expects me to believe those ridiculous words?
At first, he did really insist on saying those things. The old man even stated that maybe I had just lost my memories because of the hardships I've suffered, so I didn't remember him. But for some reason, he stopped being an annoyance when that mysterious bird appeared in front of us and showed something to him. He stopped as if everything had suddenly become clear.
Carrion's statement changed, and he told me that we looked exactly the same, but my hair was not red, and the way I acted was way too different from hers, the girl he served in the Dukedom.
The moment I heard him say the color of the girl's hair, which he had previously served, I remembered the memory of that woman's voice and the scenario of a hopeless red-haired girl. Then it hit me...that girl really looked like me. It's just that her hair is red while mine is black, and she was way too warm for me.
Our appearance is the only thing we have in common.
I thought it was just because we lived in different worlds that's why we're different as well but that woman's word is bothering me.
What does she mean by we need each other, If we grew up apart?
"My Lady, we're ready to depart." Ayazumi's voice brought me back to our current situation.
"Latil, are you coming with us?" I asked. Nilingon ko ang lalaking apo ni Carrion na nakatayo sa pintuan ng bahay nila.
"No, dito na lang ako babantayan ko si Lolo." Sagot nito kaya't humarap na ako sa dalawang kabayo na hinanda ni Aya.
We're going to the capital of the Satie Empire to get Carrion's medicine. He collapsed after we talked two days ago and that little bird simply told me that I must never let Carrion die para mahanap ko ang purpose ng paglipat ko sa mundong ito. That little bird also gave me a spatial ring. I am aware of advanced technology but this spatial ring is made up of magic.
"All the things you need from your previous world are here." Little bird said when he handed me the ring. He stated that it's like a storage room bigger than I imagined. So I guess even my private jet could fit in.
Also, he asked me if there's a living thing I want to bring to this world from my former world. I couldn't think of anything but then I remembered Aya. She's skilled on almost all weapons, smart, and strong. Thus, I chose her to assist me in this new place.
Sumakay na kami sa kabayo at nagsimula na sa mahabang paglalakbay na ito. We are currently in far away land under Castillan Kingdom and we're heading to Satie's capital. Doon lang daw mahahanap ang potion na makakagamot sa sakit ni Carrion. I don't know what illness he has but it seems serious because he looks worse than the first time I saw him. Mas namumutla ito habang tumatagal.
Naghanda pa kami sa paglalakbay na ito para masiguradong makakabalik kami agad dahil ang sabi ni Latil ay mahigpit and seguridad sa lugar na patutungunan namin at may posibilidad na hindi na kami makabalik.
I just need the map, who cares about those ruthless Satie'rian? Lumaki akong patalim ang gumigising sa akin at dugo ang palaging nagmamantsa sa mga damit ko. Nothing has changed, and this Satie Empire may even owe me something if I cannot find my other half in Karsen's Dukedom in the future.
"Seleste, if you dare to hurt that red haired girl. I will definitely destroy you and everyone around you." I clench my fist nang maalala ko nanaman ang demonyong mukha ng babaeng yon.
If the Duke and Duchess of Karsen Dukedom happen to be the same person as my parents on Earth. I might completely lose my sanity and bring destruction into this world because it only means that they are both dead.
