I woke up in a white room and I don't know where I am. I look at the people on the other side then...
"Tita, she's awake." I heard a girl's voice.
"Elisse ayla, call the doctor." The woman said and I guess she's 40's.
"Yes, Tita." Sabi nung Elisse raw.
"Anak, how are you?" The woman said.
"Oh I'm sorry, I don't know you but I'm okay." I said and smiled.
"Anak, I'm your mother." She said and held my hand. Oh! So she's my mother.
And suddenly the doctor opened the door.
"Oh! Finally you're awake from a long sleep." The doctor looks happy that I'm awake.
"Yeah. I am." I said.
"By the way, I'm your doctor. Do you know your name?" The doctor asked.
"No, I don't remember anything." I answer honestly.
"You're Theandra Odyssey Montenegro." The doctor said, Oh, so Theandra is my name.
"Hmm… okay thank you doc." I said while smiling at her.
"You're welcome." Sabi nya at tinalikuran ako at hinarap ang mga tao sa gilid.
"Mrs. Montenegro, your daughter may have post-traumatic amnesia. We'll run some tests to see what our diagnosis is." The doctor said to my mom. Post traumatic amnesia what's that? How can I get that post traumatic amnesia?
There's some people in the room whom I basically don't remember.
"What?" The girl with the long hair said.
"What's the meaning of that?" The boy asked.
"Doc, can you explain what is post-traumatic?" Elisse asked
"Post-traumatic amnesia is a state of confusion and memory loss that occurs after a traumatic brain injury." The doctor explained. Oh, so I'm suffering from amnesia.
"Doc, can you tell us how long she will suffer from amnesia, if she really has a PTA." My mom asked.
"We don't know yet." The doctor said,
"What? Can they just tell me what happened that day?" I asked.
"You still need some rest. They can tell you what happened tomorrow." The doctor said with finality.
Pagka-alis ni Doc ay lumapit silang lahat sa akin at tinitigan ako.
"Andra did you remember me?" Tanong sa akin ni Elisse. She's the one who called the Doctor.
"I don't remember you but I know you na. Elisse Ayla, my mom said." I answer.
"Yeah, I'm Elisse Ayla Montenegro, your cousin slash best friend." She said while smiling and hugging me tight, I hugged back. She's so kind I guess.
Nang bumitaw sya sa pagkakayakap ay humarap ako sa limang nasa gilid na nanonood. Lumakad yung babaeng may habang buhok.
"Gosh, totoo ba to? Andra totoo bang wala kang maalala? Okay ka na ba?" Sunod-sunod na tanong nya.
"Yeah, I'm okay." I answer and smile at her.
"By the way I'm Lorraine Amore Montenegro, your cousin." She introduced herself and smiled and hugged me and I hugged back again.
Nang bumitaw sya sa pagkakayakap ay lumapit naman yung isang babae na may hanggang balikat na buhok.
"Uhmm I'm Elizabeth Lana Montenegro, your cousin slash friend din." She introduces herself and smiles.
"Hmm." Yan lang ang lumabas sa bibig ko at ngumiti nalang. Bigla naman syang yumakap kaya yumakap na rin ako.
Nang bumitaw sya ay lumapit naman sakin yung lalaki. He's tall and handsome.
"Andra, buti gising ka na, pinagalala mo kaming lahat. Ako nga pala si Brixx Matthew Montenegro, your cousin." He said while laughing so I laughed too. I don't know what's funny, maybe he's just a happy person.
"Nice to meet you Brixx Matthew." I said then we hugged each other nung bumitaw siya ay may lumapit huling lalaki.
"Ate, I'm glad you are awake. I missed you so much." He said and his eyes were getting watery.
"I'm Matheo Ace, your little brother." He said and hugged me so I hugged him back.
"Hmmm, I'm glad to meet you, my little brother." I said and I saw him crying.
"Why are you crying?" I asked.
"I'm just happy that you're awake now." He said while sobbing.
"I'm happy too even though I lost my memories because you guys are here." I said at bumitaw sa yakap at nginitian ko sya lumapit naman sakin si mommy.
"Anak, I'm so worried about your condition when you're in coma but I'm glad that you're awake now." Sabi nya, "I miss you so much anak, we miss you so much." She said and kissed my cheek, I smiled at her.
"Mom, can I know your name because you're the one who didn't introduce yourself." I said and pouted, she laughed at me.
"I'm Althea Cristine Montenegro, your mother." She said and smiled.
"I love you anak, we love you." She said and hugged me tight so I hugged her back.
"I love you too mom, I love you all." I said and kissed my mom's cheek.
Maya maya ay nagulat ako ng bumukas ang pinto at iniluwa nito ang isang lalaki na kasing tanda lang siguro ni mommy. He suddenly run from the door to me then he hug me tight.
"Anak ko gising ka na." Sabi nya. I think he's my dad because she called me anak or maybe not.
"Uhmm sorry to say this to you po but i don't know po." I said while looking at him. His reaction changed so quickly and looked at all the people around us with a confused look.
"M-mahal, she's suspected of having amnesia." My mother answered him stuttering. It's confirmed that he's my dad.
"I didn't know. I'm your father Theodore Montenegro." He said and smiled bitterly.
"I'm glad to meet you dad." I said and smiled at him. His facial expression suddenly changed.
"Sobrang saya ko dahil hindi nagbago ang ugali mo kahit nagkaroon ka ng amnesia. I love you anak." He said and hugged me so I hug him back.
"I love you too, dad." I said and smiled at him.
Ang dami naming nagkwentuhan pagkatapos ng pagpapakilala nila sakin. Nagkwento sila ng mga ilan sa moments namin na hindi ko pa din matandaan. Nagkwentuhan nalang kami hanggang sa mag gabi na at umuwi na yung mga pinsan ko kasama si daddy kasi si mommy daw magbabantay sa akin.
After they left I fell asleep while watching tv.
