Chapter 7- Party

A/N: To breathe you out from our character's pain, here's my treat for you guys. Have fun and feel the simple party I prepared.
Today is Sunday. Probably the most awaited day for Shaine because of the anticipated party this coming evening.
I thought that asking for my parent's consent will be that hard to do. But to my surprise, they both said a yes. Therefore, I'm coming to the party with Shaine.
“Turn left,” Shaine said, and I was so kind to follow her. “Then turn right.” She stared at the outfit I'm wearing, then to me from head to toe. “Perfect!”
Clapping her hand, Shaine fixed my long hair. For the party, I chose to wear just a simple black crop top paired with square pants in bright flower prints. Shaine asked me to put makeup on my face, to which I quickly refused. I actually don't know why she's so impressed by my look now, when she knows for a fact that I'm just leaving it simple.
Time flies so fast, and it's already pass six in the evening, definitely time to prepare.
“You look wonderful,” I muttered. I'm amazed as well. She is wearing a white midriff baring crop top paired down with a denim shorts.
I'm not amazed because she is wearing something very exposing, and she might totally look like a bitch. I am more than amazed because it suited on her without me saying yucks. I can easily judge a girl when they're wearing clothes that are too much revealing, but Shaine doesn't look like a bitch when she wears the same outfit.
“I'll take that as a compliment.” She grinned from ear to ear, rolling the tint on her lips.
We are going to a night party. For sure rich teenagers will be present there like expected. It is natural for a party girl like Shaine to dress sexy, but I chose to make it simple in my part. Besides, I will not go there to party but to accompany my friend. My outfit will not matter anymore. People will mind more on the drinks, not on me.
“Stand there and still look pretty, Ari. Gosh, your drop-dead gorgeous.”
“Same to you.”
After almost an hour of picking the right outfit to wear and looking on the mirror, we finally go downstairs to look for my parents. Of course, we ain't gonna leave this house without them knowing. Saying bye to them is a must.
“Be good in the party, you two. And don't drink, Ari. Know your limitations. Just enjoy the party but never get yourself drunk, okay?” Mom never get tired of throwing reminders at me. She's been like this since last night.
“Don't you worry, mom. Rest assured, I'm not going to drink.” I smiled as I shifted my gaze to dad. “Any warnings, dad?”
“Just the same warning. Don't drink liquor,” he responded. I nod my head as a sign of approval. Like what I said, I will not go there to party. I will definitely be there to give Shaine my company.
“Don't worry, tito and tita. I got her. I won't let her drink because I will only be the one to do that,” Shaine jested, to which we responded in a laugh.
“Hija, it's okay to drink, but please know your limitations,” Mom said, chuckling. Oh, why sound so unfair? Just joking. I don't have any plans to drink, actually.
“Yes, tita.” Shaine nodded her head.
“Thanks, mom, and dad. We'll go ahead.” I walked toward them and kissed both of their cheeks. Mom embraced me tight, repeating all her warnings to me. Dad, on the other hand, is just laughing, telling mom to stop because I might be a deaf after.
“What's with that smile?” I asked, opening the door of my car.
“Just thankful. Imagine your parents not giving you the permission to be there at the party. I will definitely be a sad potato,” Shaine chuckled. Well, all thanks to them for allowing us.
Traffic sucks, actually. We have been stranded for more than half an hour before our car went on. But traffic sounded like nothing to Shaine who enjoyed herself so much in watching random videos in TikTok. It was instead a curse to me who is the one driving the car. But to her, she's happily enjoying the traffic while following the dance on her phone.
“And we have arrived to our destination!” Shaine excitedly threw a glance out of the window as I park my car on the lot where many vehicles are standing by. So, this is it! We are finally in the exact venue.
The house is lighting like a disco club. Guests from different schools and places was invited to come as I can see countless people both inside and out.
“Ari? Hey, Ari!” Shaine still had to waved her hands in front of me to get my attention. “Are you still with me?”
“Yeah. I just can't believe I will be in a real party. You know it's my first time.” I roamed my eyes around, the lights met my gaze. I didn't expect it will be so much lively.
“Shaine!” Our conversation was interrupted by a girl from a distance. She's running toward us, her braided her swayed from left to right.
“Who is she?” I whispered on her ear.
“She's Rihanna, the one who invited us to this night party. This is their house,” Shaine replied, her eyes fixed on the girl approaching us.
“Hi! I'm glad you're here.” Rihanna smiled from ear to ear, shifting her glance from Shaine to me. “You must be, Ari, am I right?” she asked me. I only replied a surprise look but with a matching nod, of course. “Oh, Shaine actually mentioned you to me.”
“It's nice meeting you, Rihanna.” I stretched my hand as she gladly accepted it for a friendly shake.
“The pleasure is mine.” Rihanna kissed the back of my hand as she chuckled. She then paced toward my friend and did the same to her.
“That was sweet!” Shaine exclaimed.
“Shall we?” Rihanna jerked her thumb on the gate. “The party is just about to start, and you shouldn't miss a second.”
She leaded the way as we followed her.
“Guys, feel yourselves at home!” Rihanna announced, twirling her braided hair. She is wearing a two piece black bikini covered in a white see-through caftan. Wow! She looks very hot!
“This the party that never goes out of budget!” Shaine exclaimed and get all the food she wanted to eat without minding if she's gonna leave the table with a full plate.
“Slow down,” I warned her, laughing.
We are welcomed the way we want it to be, that's why I'm not shy anymore. Why not add the thickness of my friend's face here? Just kiddin'.
And for the real party…
“One! Two! Three!” Everybody's shouting right now. Popping the balloons was accompanied by a countdown as we are all excited. “START THE PARTY.” The balloons popped consecutively as we are rained with confetti and bubbles. All the guests are gathered here at the pool area, including me and Shaine.
I enjoyed so much, watching the bubbles floating everywhere. The theme of this party might be childish, but no one can deny the fun. Even me enjoyed the party, though I'm not interested to come at first.
Just one word from Rihanna, girls and boys jumped in the pool, waving their hands on the others who remained standing. There were also balloons in the water, floating so nice. The enjoyment written on their faces are priceless. I can say they had a lot of fun. How's the water there, by the way? Too cold or not?
Do you guys know how hot this party is? I mean not the literal hot like someone created a fire and the house was burnt. What I'm talking about is a different meaning of hotness. All the girls who are soaking in the pool right now are wearing two piece bikinis, flaunting their sexiness. I love their confident to be certain. Well, I don't have to act like a just now. I know for a fact how teenagers dressed nowadays. And we are in a pool party, kinda expect those sexy girls to showcase their body and their bikinis.
“Just wait, Ari. They will going to see who's the sexiest of us all once I take off this crop top and short,” Shaine chuckled, her eyes following those who are having fun in the pool. “Now is still their moment to shine. A little later, I will going to brag my beautiful body.”
“That will be a big shame on their ass but are you really sure you're gonna do that thing?” I asked, feeding a spoonful of mango float to my mouth. I enjoyed savoring the dessert on my hand. Feels like I want to have more!
“There's no problem in wearing a bikini, right?” she chuckled as her gaze darted to the pool. “Look at that fat girl over there. If she can confidently wear a bikini, it means I can also do the same.”
“It's up to you. It's not my bikini to wear. How much skin you show is completely up to you and what you feel comfortable in,” I remarked.
A pool party will not be complete without liquor, right? I can see a group of young students drinking alcohol, while others are smoking cigarettes at a far distance. I only shrugged my shoulders, thinking how my life is different from those teenagers. They smoke and drink, while I'm only here to attend the party.
This is a pool party, but there are still some guests like me who just chose to relax at the side. Shaine, on the other hand, have already dived on the pool, wearing a red bikini. She is indeed enjoying the party, and that's already enough for me. The reason I accompanied her in the first place is for her to be happy. And now that she is already enjoying, I can't help but to smile.
“Hi!”
My heart almost jumped when I heard a voice from my back. That was near, huh? I almost had an attack.
I turned at my back to see who just greeted me. To my surprise, I saw a familiar face smiling at me. Wait a second… Where did I see this stupid face again? Super familiar to the eyes.
“You again?” I knitted my brows, glancing at the guy before me. If I'm not mistaken, he is that weirdo I met in the coffee shop yesterday. That one who just appeared in front of my table and talked to me like we are close.
So, what now? Is he here to say weird stuffs again? The first time we met, he looks like pretty much aware about what's going on between me and Shan. To which I wondered. He is weird, isn't he? Because first of all, why would he know about it? Gosh. Is he a stalker?
“Yes, beautiful! It's me.” His grin grew wider from ear to ear, showing how jolly he is as a type of guy. So, he is even proud to admit it, huh?
"Seriously, what are you doin' here?” I raised my voice. I don't appreciate talking to strangers. If I will, then expect that I'm not going to talk to them in a nice way.
“And how about you, what are you doing here?” he said, returning the same question to me, making me annoyed.
What the hell. Is he imitating me?! That is out of sense!
“I'm invited for your information,” I said as I rolled my eyes.
“Well, I'm invited also.” He smiled as he stretched his hand for a shake. “It's nice meeting you, beautiful.”
I only stared at his hand, don't have any plans to accept it.
“The way you look into my hand looks like you want to cut it off. Geez! That must be so scary then,” he chuckled as he flashed a scared face of him.
“Glad you know.”
I walked away after I had enough view of his face. He is totally weird. I don't like the way how he talk to me.
“Bye, beautiful!”
