Here I am located at the corner of the canteen. I hadn’t looked at her yet because I was arranging my food when she suddenly spoke.
“Excuse me, Miss? Is this seat taken?" the girl asked.
I looked at the woman. She’s beautiful, but she looks like a nerd. Or maybe it’s just her fashion. I smiled at her before I answered.
"No one sits there." I answered.
"Can I sit here?" she asked.
"You're aware," I answered, and then she sat in the seat in front of me.
I looked at the girl in front of me. She’s beautiful, looks smart and elegant, and she's also a race just like me. Her glasses are not too big, just the right size, and they look nice. That’s what I see in her. I just focused my attention on my food.
"Thank you." I heard she said it, so I looked at her.
"For what?" I asked with curiosity.
“By letting me share a table with you. I even want to interact with those bitchy women there. I hate interacting with them. And then I didn’t know anyone here. " She explained.
Who does not like plastic women? Rude but elegant demeanor. I can get along with this woman.
"That’s nothing. I don’t own this table. " I said, and then she smiled at me.
We ate quietly.
When I finished eating, I immediately took my laptop, not to use social media but to check my email for business purposes.
A Fine Arts student handling a well-known company in the whole world? Different but true. This is my life that no matter how hard I try to escape I just find myself doing the thing I should have left.
“Oh, I forgot to introduce myself to you. I’m Jaymie. Jaymie Lera Salcedo." She said to me,
I looked at her when she suddenly spoke. I put down my laptop and looked at her.
“Oh, hi Jaymie! Nice name.” I said and smiled at her.
"And you are?"
“Natsumi, Natsumi Miyuki Ree Harakazumi.”
"Nice to meet you." She said as she reached out her hands.
"Nice to meet you too." And I reached out my hands to her to shake her hand.
I have arranged my stuff for my next class. I was just too lazy to go in earlier because I was disgusted with the faces of those who poured cold water on me. I might just ruin their faces. I stood up, then Jaymie stood up too.
Maybe she will also go to her class.
“Are you going back to your room? Let’s go together. Maybe my room is just near yours. " She says
"Alright." I answered and then we left the canteen.
We were walking together. Jaymie was a bit talkative. Lots of gossip to tell. About her, her family, her dog and whatsoever I just said yes to her stories. Somehow, I lost my boredom because of her stories.
"Wait, what’s your section?" she suddenly asked.
"I-A Fine Arts." My short answer.
“Seriously? I’m also in I-A Fine Arts. " She said
O-kay? Maybe she’s not a bad person? Do I think this is a coincident?
"You own the vacant seat behind the window." She says
"Why? Are there any other vacant seats?" I suddenly asked
"Yup, two more, except for you. Those are reserved seats for transferees that will come next week, Mrs. Hernandez said earlier.” She said
Exchange students? I hope I was wrong.
We have reached our room. Almost everyone is already there, but the three are not there yet. Thank God.
Maybe you are planning what to do next with me? Or maybe they are late again. I went to my seat. Until I sat down, my classmates were still looking at me. I’m not that kind of weakling.
I just looked outside. I felt drowsy again, but I did not want to sleep. I might be showered with a cold blessing again. I can still share what I will receive in no time. Our next professor has arrived.
All three are late, again. Jenthrix’s face? I can’t tell. I don’t know if I'm angry, annoyed, shocked or whatever. I don’t care about his expression. And I want to finish this subject and finish the whole day so that I can go home and rest from what happened throughout the day.
I was just looking outside while waiting for the next professor to arrive. I just don’t want to look inside the room. I might just be bored. It’s okay, I might even have a stiff neck as long as I don’t see the faces of those three idiots.

"Good morning, class. Let’s start our lesson."
I just looked in front when our next professor started talking. After my class, it’s lunchtime. I hope no blessing happens to me at lunchtime. I just focused my attention on our lesson.
“Okay class, review our topic today and we will have a quiz tomorrow. That’s all. Class dismissed."
I immediately adjusted my gear to get to the canteen immediately and quickly left the room.
"Hi Miyuki, do you have any company or someone with you this lunch?" Jaymie asked, because she was walking down the corridor with me.
"Nothing." My short answer.
“Is that so? Let’s have lunch together." She said cheerfully to me,
I could have done nothing but accompany her to the canteen.
I just ordered some Japanese food. Aside from being the owner of a company, I’m also a model and a heavy food lover. No matter how much I eat, it’s still the same that I don’t gain weight.
"Miyuki, where do you live?" Jaymie asked as we ate.
"Asakura Empire Condominium." My answer. She was suddenly strangled.
"Here’s the water. Are you okay?" I asked when I reached for the water. She drank the water.
“Asakura Empire Condominium? The most expensive condominium?" She asked with a wide eye.
"Yeah, that’s it." I said with a mouthful of food.
We ate quietly again. Maybe Jaymie was shocked. If you have a unit in the most expensive condominium, In the middle of our meal, suddenly something was playing on my mind.
"Are you okay?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah. Don’t mind me."
We finished our lunch. After we had lunch, she invited us to go to the field. We still have thirty minutes before our next class.
We looked for a place in the field. There are quite a lot of people because it’s lunch break. Relaxers and whatever else. Here we stood under a big tree. We sat under the tree. Jaymie took out her laptop. She said that she was going to look at a painting, while I, on the other hand, leaned against the tree and closed my eyes, thinking that I would just sleep for a while.
Maybe no cold blessing will fall on me here?
