"All in all, Abyss is not the place where you wanna be in" singit naman ni Sirhaya.
"But unluckily, we're here" sagot naman ni Via.
"I'm Calix" napatingin naman ako kay Calix ng bigla syang tumayo at lumapit kay Via, he's also blushing. Oh come on.
Tumango naman si Via, she also smiled a little.
I shook my head in disbelief, I mean, he needs glasses.
"So," I cleared my throat before I continue.
"Why are you guys here? Anong ginawa nyo?"
"I stole something" Mayahi answered first.
"Don't get me wrong, it's mine, I mean ok, whew! Pano ba 'to!"
"Bale, kase, ninakaw ko yung pamana sakin ng mama ko mula sa auntie ko, you see? That's the only thing that I've got from my mom before she died."
"And my Aunt wants me to sell it! How selfish diba! Nung hindi ako pumayag, kinuha nya sakin yon habang tulog ako, then when I'm about to get it, nireport naman nya ko kase ninakaw ko 'raw' yung bigay sakanya ng mama ko, WTF DIBA!?" Napatayo pa sya habang nagkukwento, well, that's kinda off. Napatango naman ako, pagkatapos ay umupo na sya at napabuntong-hininga pa.
Napalingon naman ako kay Calix, nakita ko namang bumuntong-hininga sya. Are you going to tell us something or what?
"Well you see, I'm from level two" simula nya, napakunot naman ang noo ko, level two is for murderers right?
"Hear me out please, I really didn't kill anyone"
"Kakadating ko lang ng bahay non when I heard my mother and father shouting, syempre, takbo agad ako pa-second floor mamaya kung ano pang mangyari diba?"
"Kaboug sana all may second floor" singit ni Mayahi, sinamaan naman sya ng tingin ni Calix kaya nagpeace sign sya.
"As I've said, akyat agad ako sa second floor, kaso pagdating ko don, nakita kong nakahiga na Papa ko, tas duguan naman Mama ko, may hawak syang kutsilyo and when I look at her, I saw fear in her eyes."
"She immediately ran towards me, syempre kabado bente ako pero di ako tumakbo nanay ko yon eh, there's no way in hell na sasaktan ako non tas nagulat ako, sabi ba naman sakin, akuin ko na daw, ayaw daw nyang mapapuntang Abyss, sino na lang daw mag-aalaga sa dalawang kapatid ko"
I saw Via squinting her eyes, maybe like me, hindi rin sya makapaniwalang pwede yon.
"Syempre, um-oo ako, kaya nga ako nandito eh, kayo lang nakakaalam nyan, shh lang kayo pag yan nakalabas kayo sisisihin ko" pagtatapos nya.
"You're kind of stupid alam mo 'yon?" Our attention diverted to Sirhaya. I agree, that's kinda stupid.
"First, alam ng nanay mo ginagawa nya, trust me she knows it. Second, kung talagang iniisip nya kapakanan ng dalawang kapatid mo, she wouldn't kill your father in the first place and Lastly, who would do that to her own child? Of course, your mom, she have already done it." Napakamot ulo naman si Calix matapos marinig 'yon mula kay Sirhaya.
"Syempre naisip ko 'yon pero wala naman ng mangyayare, andito na ko eh" sagot ni Calix kaya napairap naman si Sirhaya.
"Ikaw ba? Ba't ka ba nandito? Mukha ka namang hindi gagawa ng masama, sa arte mong yan" sabi ni Calix, tinaasan naman sya ng kilay ni Sirhaya.
"Me? I'm a diamond" this time, I squinted my eyes, am I hearing it right or what?
"I'm not a diamond in the rough you don't have to polish me because I already am, no need to be shock, just consider me as the diamond in the dark"
My mouth gapped as I hear those words, how confident.
"Diamond in the dark ampochi HAHAHAHA! Hoy! Mayahi! Narinig mo 'yon!? HAHAHAHA" tatawa-tawang sabi ni Calix, nahahawa na rin si Mayahi sa tawa nya pero pinipigilan nya habang si Sirhaya? Seryoso pa rin sya.
Ilang minuto pa ang lumipas pero walang nagbago, seryoso pa rin ang mukha ni Sirhaya, si Calix naman natigil na kakatawa at napatingin kay Sirhaya.
"Seryoso?" Tanong ni Calix, tumango naman si Sirhaya.
"Ever heard of Prince Eonyx? He's often called as Prince Eon" Sirhaya asked, napakunot noo naman si Calix, Mayahi at ako.
"Prince Eon the older brother of Prince Castell na ngayon ay Hari na?" Sabi ni Via, tumango naman sya.
"Yes I do know him, my mother mentions him before" dugtong pa ni Via, nakita ko namang ngumiti ng konti si Sirhaya, you know what? Medyo unusual yung pangalan nila.
"Isn't he killed by his right hand?" Tanong naman ni Calix, nakita kong napakunot naman ang noo ni Sirhaya.
"Wait, sino si Prince Eon? I've heard him before pero hindi ko sya maalala" singit naman ni Mayahi, umayos naman ng upo si Sirhaya, I bet she's going to tell us who this man is.
"Prince Eonyx, or Eon as Via mentioned is the older brother of the King. Prince Eon is the late king's favorite because of his good desicion making skills, he's also the crowds favorite because he always talk to them and sooner, make friendship with them" panimula nya.
"Before, the castle is open to anyone and he is the reason why, he executed an order that all winged-one should enter the castle because he believes that everyone has the right to see it. He also plans that when it's his turn to be the King, he'll continue the plans that his father had for the Uncovered Winds and because of that, everyone is rooting for him, they believe that he'll be a good king."
"He also had a wife and later had a daughter" everyone looked at her.
"Wait, Don't tell me? Ikaw yon?" Says Mayahi, but of course, the answer is obvious.
Sirhaya nods, napatayo naman si Calix and Mayahi? She silently says 'owemji'
"That explains your silver wings but if you're a daughter of a royalty, bakit apat lang yung feathers sa ulo mo?" Tanong ni Via.
"See this scar?" Hinawi naman ni Sirhaya yung buhok nya and there, we've seen it. Via gasped in disbelief habang si Mayahi naman ay napa 'ow' at ako? Nakakunot-noo.
"Castell, I mean, 'King' Castell removed my fifth and sixth feather from my head, I almost passed out when he did" paliwanag nya.
"How does it feel?" Tanong ko.
"Of course it hurts duh. In my second day, the bleeding won't stop, the third day, I can't even stand. It took me a month to heal." Paliwanag nya, napangiwi naman ako dahil naiisip ko pa lang ay para na kong sinisikmura.
"So you really are?" Di makapaniwalang tanong ni Calix. Tumango naman si Sirhaya.
"I really am the daughter of the late Prince Eonyx and Princess Sapira, is there any problem with that?"
