Harper furrowned as she covered her ears hearing all the noises from the girls at the corridor. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
She finally opened her eyes when the girls went silent. She furrowed her eye brows at him. "What?"
"You look irritated" Haruto laughed a bit.
"She is." Minzy shrugged.
"You should tell those girls to stop screaming because of you. Oh god." Harper crossed her arms. "What did you even do again, this time?"
"I sang." He simply answered.
"Good job then, Mr. Singer." Harper sarcastically smiled before turning aroung. "Next time do it outside!"
Haruto followed her inside their classroom and waited for their first period to start.
"Everyone!" The teacher called. "I'll explain your project in English.
The students sat properly and paid attention. "You will write a short story, and then make a book out of it. Simple as that." The teacher smiled at them. "This will be a by partner project."
Harper looked back at Minzy. "Let's be-."
"You won't pick your partners."
"Seriously."
"Whar did I expect."
"Oh, good heavens thank you. I don't have friends."
She just sighed.
"Here are the names of the partners!"
"Ah.. I hope it's Minzy." She crossed her fingers.
"Minzy, Jason.."
"Okay I love my partner." Harper heard Minzy said. She snapped head at her and saw her waving at Jason who flicked his wrists at his partner while smiling.
"Hehe, goodluck Harper." Minzy held up her fists and mouthed 'you can do this'.
Harper crossed her arms and faced the front again. She waited and waited until her name was called.
"Harper..." please please please be a good student, I hate group works so much it will hold me down.
The teacher furrowed her eye brows as she flipped the page of her notebook. "Oh I haven't written a partner for you yet, Ms. Gray."
"Aside from Harper, who doesn't have a partner yet?"
She looked around and saw only one hand. "Okay then! She will be partners with Haruto." The teacher smiled.
"But Mrs. Evans!"
"Any problems?"
"No, there aren't any problems, Mrs. Evans." Haruto spoke.
Harper glared at him and he just shrugged and smiled teasingly at her. "Okay then!" The teacher started fixing her things. "Have your lunch, good luck." She smiled and walked out of the room.
The girl stood up and walked towards her parner who's about to stand up. "Why did you agree with that?!"
He walked closer to her and leaned a little bit. "Because you are a good student." He fixed himself. "And you'll do the whole project." he smiled.
"I'm changing partners." She looked up at him.
Haruto looked around. "With whom? Seems like everyone likes their partners." He shrugged.
"With someone who likes you. So you can get annoyed." Hayeol stuck her tongue at him as she turn her back at him. "Minz-"
Haruto held her uniform and pulled her back. "Ah- hey! Let go of me!"
Haruto smiled at her. "I'm saying 'no' for changing partners." He let go of Hayeol and walked away with his hands inside his pockets. "I'm a good student too, don't you trust me?"
"I don't."
"I don't care." He left.
"Harp!" Minji ran up to her friend. "Are you okay?"
"Oh not really. He almost choked me." Harper answered, hand on her neck. "That jerk."

"Why here?" Minzy asked as Harper sat at an empty table. "Aren't we eating with your brother?"
Harper squinted her eyes at her best friend. "You want to eat with Mason, do you?"
Her friend pouted and sat in front of her. "Just asking."
Suddenly, someone placed their plate beside Harper's. Guessing who it was, she rolled her eyes. "Why are you here?"
"Girl, it's-." Minzy widened her eyes at her.
"Geez. You don't want to eat with me? Okay I'll go now." He reached for his plate.
Harper turned her head, realizing who it really is. "No, no! I mistook you for some annoying guy. Sorry, Dylan."
Dylan, a very close friend of theirs, pouted and sat beside her again. "Hi Minzy!" He waved. She just smiled at him and started eating.
"So who's annoying you?" He looked at Harper, in concern.
"There's just one guy who will never stop annoying me and you know who he is." She shrugged.
Dylan nodded his head. "Then I guess you should always be with me when you're at the corridor." He smiled.
Harper can't help but smile. She can't deny the fact that she has a slight crush on him. "Yeah."
"What to you mean 'yeah'? I'm third wheeling again? No no." Minzy shook her head as she chew on her food.
"Just eat!"

The students started arranging their belongings as their last period teacher went out of the classroom.
"Jace." Haruto called. "Hurry up and let's go."
Jace nodded as he swung his bag to wear it.
"Nakayama."
Hayden looked down. "Out of my way, shortie, we have plans." He bumped Harper a little out of his way and walked out of the room. Jace looked back and held up a peace sign.
"He's harsh. Are you okay?" Minzy asked.
Harper fixed her hair, still having a frown on her face. "Having a partner like that Japanese guy won't work out."
