CHAPTER 4
“Well, someone came to our store and wanted to buy all our stock of tool steels.” he started
My mouth opened in exitement.
“All of our stock?” I repeated
He nooded and continue walking.
“We don’t have much in stock at now. The manager doubted if he could extend the delivery time for a few days, hut the man insisted on taking the delivery today. He is a big costumer in our shop, so the manager asked you to make the decision.” he said
I didn’t noticed that we were now arrived in the shop so I turn to him.
“All right, I’ll handle it don’t worry. Go back to your work now.” I said
He bowed to my respectfully and went away to go back to his work in the shop.
I went in inside the shop and noticed that there is a man looking in the product displayed.
I smiled while slowly approched him.
“Sir….” I didn’t finish my words when I saw who that man is when he turn around to face me.
“IT’S YOU.” he said.
What a small world!
“You want to buy the tool steels?” I ask him
He looked at me suspiciously.
“Why are you here? Are you following me? Or trying to get close to me on purpose?” he said arrogantly.
“I follow you?” I said in disbelief
In a minute I felt annoyed at him and raised my hand to slap him but before I could do it he caught my hand and hold it tightly.
“What do you want now?’ I shouted at him.
He walked slowly at me and suddenly pinned me in the wall cornering me with his both hands.
“And we are meant to meet each other?” he said staring at me.
My heart beat so fast in nervousness.
Why does he get so close?
“What?”
“My Prince..”
I was shocked when the manager of my shop appear with the man with his sword again and I know that he is a guard of this arrogant man in front of me.
I erase all my thoughts and gather my strength to pushed the arrogant man away from me.
“Who’s meant to meet you? Don’t be so narcissistic!” I said while pushing him and he was surprised in my action.
“I’m the owner of this shope, I’m here to deal with you a tiresome costumer.” I said angrily.
Who does he think he is?
“You are the boss here?” he ask in disbelief
“Yes, she is my bos.” my manager replied with a nood.
He then looked at my blankly. How dare he?
“There is no need to explain to him!” I shouted in the manager.
He was surprised in my sudden outburst but I don’t care.
“What about the order?” he ask nervously.
“I’m not interested in your petty money for steel! WE DON’T SELL NOW!” I shouted in anger that made them shocked.
I am really angry to that arrogant man now, who does he think he is? We just meet in coincidence and now he thinks that I’m following him? Is he that handsome and rich that I’ll follow him? What a dumbass arrogant man.
“GO TO DEAL WITH OTHERS!” I shouted again and left the shop, I slam the door angrily.
NEVILLE POV
“GO TO DEAL WITH OTHERS!” she shouted and slam the door angrily then left the shop.
I sighed in annoyance.
“Now what should we do Your Highness.!” Nillan my guard said.
I sighed again, I don’t have a choice now.
“Find another store! And ask Ferxu to find out the identity of the Lady Methildis!” I said looking at him.
FREYA POV
“AHHHHH!I’m so pissed off!” I angrily shouted when I entered my room.
“No one has dared to insult me like ever ever since I was born! What? Approach him on purpose? Follow him?” I angrily kicked my table.
“I’m busy with making money and bullying Eliza. I have no time to follow a narcissist like you!” I shouted again and sit in my chair.
“My Lady, calm down. Getting angry is bad for your health.” Amber said massaging my shoulder.
Still, I’m so pissed at him.
“My Lady, finally I found you.” one of the maids said opening my door. “Lord comes back and he wants to see you.” she said.
And suddenly my mood changes when I heard the news.
“Daddy is back? Hurry up Amber let’s go see father now.” I said while running.
When I went dowstairs I saw that they were sitting in the table, the witch and her daughter is present and daddy is sitting opposite to them but I didn’t mind them, I just want daddy.
“Daddy!” I shouted when I saw him and I rushed towards him. “Daddy, I’ve missed you so much!” I said while hugging him.
He chuckled.
“Freya! How dare you let the whole family wait for you to eat!What an ill-bred girl without a mother!” Eliza said while looking at me.
“Hmm, sis you are wrong. Why did you say I have no mother? I actually have a mother. Amiya is my stepmother. You are actually blaming her if you say I’m ill-bred. Stepmother, your baby girl is blaming you.’ I said mockingly.
She looked at me angrily.
“You! You are talking nonsense!” she said slamming her hands in the table.
“All right, everyone stop it! You’ve been fighting since I came back. Sisters should respect and love each other. Here you are Freya, a big drumstick for you!” Father said calmly and put a drumstick in my plate.
Eliza and her ugly mother looks jealous.
“Thank you Daddy!” I said and sent him a flying kiss.
He chuckled and eat his foods.
“Eliza, have some fish, it’s good for your health.” Father said while putting a small fish in Eliza’s plate.
Eliza looked shocked and hurt.
“Daddy! I’ve been allergic to fish since I was born! Am I your daughter or not?” she said and left the table crying.
“Eliza!” her mother called her.
Father and me looked at each other and didn’t react.
The ugly witch left the table too following her daughter. Father and me continue eating happily. Once were done, he ask me to come with him in his office.
“How have you been these days without Daddy?” he ask
I smiled at him.
“I’m very fine! But I miss you so much.” I replied.
He chuckled and smiled at me.
“Good, if you want something just tell me or the staff, don’t make your self unhappy!” he said.
I chuckled.
‘I know. Don’t worry Daddy! Now the store manager is scared to see me. I won’t make myself unhappy!” I said giggling. “Besides, you have left me a lot of business. I have made a lot of money from each one. I have enough money now.”
He looked at me sadly.
“Well, your mother left early. I was busy with the business and failed to spend much time you! So, I’ve always felt guilty. If you want something, just tell me. I will do whatever I can to make you happy!” he said guiltily.
Something I want? I lost in my deep thought and suddenly remembered the arrogant man.
Am I losing my mind? How could I think of him.
“I have the best Daddy! I don’t want anything eles!” I said happily
“Then do you want to eat hotpot? There’s a new hotpot restaurant in the third street. The boss there is my friend. I can take you to eat there” he said smiling.
I felt excitement in my veins of what he said. I came closer to him a clung to his hand.
“I feel so warm! Dddy, you’re the best. Can we go there tomorrow?” I ask happilu.
He chuckled.
“HAHA, no problem my precious daughter.”
ELIZA POV
I listened to Father and freya laughed hapilly.
“Freya, just wait and see!” I said in my mind angrily and left father’s office.
