This thing in front of us has three wheels. It's a vehicle with three wheels. Are we going to ride this thing? I felt thrilled 'cause I haven't tried this one yet. But I wonder why are we going to board on this?
I stared at him, perplexed. He just raises a brow and gives me a mocking smirk.
"Yes, princess. We're going to ride that vehicle. Got a problem with that?"
"Is it safe?" mukha kasing bibigay na ito kapag siya pa lang ang sasakay.
With his prevailing height, kakasya kaya siya d'yan?
"You're always safe with me."
With that, he went inside first. I was stunned before following him. It was a good thing that we fit. Lucian doesn't have any gentleness within him. Siya pa talaga ang nauna, ah?
Everything became smoky. My eyes became blurry when some dust invaded my orbs. I kneaded it faintly, after that, I blinked and blinked then. The air thumping my face felt so refreshing and lively. Thus, I ain't no problem with riding this.
Moreover, the vehicle was deadlocked Then, some people are approaching and all of them are men. One by one, they hopped in. I have one on my side and it's the last thing I'm concerned with.
I resumed looking at the surrounding, not until I caught the man beside me peeking some intense glances.
"Manong, para!" gulat akong napatingin kay Lucian.
Huminto ang driver dahil sa sinabi niya. Lucian defrayed and gestured me to step outside. Although confused, I pace out.
"Bakit tayo bumaba?" I asked him.
"Shit happens."
"Don't swear! It's bad." may panunuya niya akong tingnan.
"Innocent girl, we have here, huh?"
I lose my temper when he said that but I stayed quiet. I just folded my arms and peeped around.
"Your highness-"
"Will you stop calling me that? I'm not that omnipotent!" Lucian smirked at me together with his signature playful smile.
"Innocent became feisty." Napaiwas ako ng tingin.
Why is he making fun of me? Sa pagkakaalam ko, hindi pang biro ang mukha ko. He's enjoying teasing me with his sarcasm! Ano bang maling ginawa ko para ganituhin niya ako?
I extended my arm and kicked some small stones. In such a situation, there's a Ducati that stops in front of us. A black Ducati, grated with ruddy at the edge of its rump while half of its body was warped in raven hues and the aura screams dangerous, too. I no longer have to ask who's the owner of that 'cause the man throws the key to Lucian which he effortlessly captures and rode in that Ducati swiftly.
I find him like a dominating bad boy in his current state.
"Sakay na."
Napaturo ko sa sarili ko. Me? Sasakay d'yan? Hindi pa ako nakakasakay sa ganyan. Is that even safe?
"Bingi ka ba?" my face crumbled.
"I-it's my first time okay?!" I stuttered while replying.
"Darn! Always your first time together with me. Sakay na, hindi kita ihuhulog."
I've been defeated by his words, hence, I abided.
He held out his hand to me. He's definitely defying my courage if I could make it. With some hesitation, I still reached for it. I breathed a sigh out of relief when I was able to steady myself on board. It was a deem outcome.
"Hold tightly. You might fall."
"Where should I stick my hands?"
I was stunned when his hands caught mine. Lucian silently put my hand on his waist. My breathing went overboard because of that. There's this uncertain feeling again.
Furthermore, there goes my first time riding a Ducati. Rinig ko ang kanyang halakhak dahil biglang napahigpit ang kapit ko sa bewang niya. Our situation bring uneasiness to my system, molded every fiber of my being into an agitated state.
Hugging him tightly sounds ridiculous yet there's something I can't put a finger on.
Everything we've passed through seems to be windy because of his accelerated speed. My mini skirt was having some communion in the air! It's almost flying and I can picture out my cycling visible to people's view! Oh my God!
"Lucian! Slow down please!" I shouted from the top of my lungs.
Oh my! Nakakahiya sa nakakasabay naming mga sasakyan. I never experienced this in my entire existence.
My eyes became teary because of the thoughts that I was unconsciously offended through this. Naiiyak ako sa pinaghalong hiya at frustration!
"What?"
"I said slow down, please!" I pleaded.
I even saw a few people inside their car taking a peek!
"Why would I?"
I'm crying right now! He didn't even care! Why do I have an asshole cousin?
"My cycling is visible because of your overspeeding!" I yelled, upset by this incident.
"Fuck! You should have told me immediately."
Nakahinga ako ng maluwag dahil inihinto niya ang pagpapatakbo. I was gasping for air when his Ducati ceased. Hinihingal yata ako sa pagsigaw ko kanina.
Lucian grimly stood in front of me. His eyes clutched prevalence while clenching his jaw. He lends me his hand to aid me from descending. After that, he take off his jacket and handed it to me.
My eyes are fluffy as I stared at him.
This is all his fault!
"Use this to cover your legs." walang pag-alinlangang tinanggap ko 'yun.
I tied it on my waist. He examined me from head to toe and when he looks satisfied, he climbed up to his Ducati again and so did I, let alone those doubts droop in the air.
Lucian sense my nervousness, hence, he maneuvered his Ducati moderately unlike earlier.
I was late for about an hour and now I'm in front of my school. I went down and find out he's already facing me. His body was leaning on his Ducati while his arms crossed over his chest. His folded hands give me the perfect angle of his stretch muscles and ripped veins.
The intensity he's revealing feels like tugging me near him.
"T-thank you," I mumbled, staring at him with soft flickers in my eyes.
Even though he acts like a rude guy ago, he felt sorry for what went on and lend me his jacket.
I stripped off his jacket and handed it back to him.
I gasped when he straightened up and spanned his hands to tuck the strand of my hair behind my ear.
My mom will surely be mad at me if she'll know this. She doesn't want my naturally curly hair to be messed up. But, Lucian's actions are making me wonder what is he up to? I admit that I was stunned by his sudden acts. It's startling.
"I'm sorry..." saka siya nagpakawala ng buntong-hininga.
Is he regretful because he's being a jerk earlier? But that wasn't the case 'cause if he didn't feel sorry at all, then he wouldn't let me borrow his jacket and still carry on for being a boastful mob.
Honestly, he is hard to read. Unpredictable and confusing. His every stir was baffling, it makes me dazed about everything.
I chose to nudge his hand away and stride back. A good move on my part that I could think of at the moment to break off from our closeness.
"S-sige na. Late na ako. Salamat sa paghatid."
He nodded sparingly.
I turned my back and began distancing myself from him, but I postponed my pace when he spoke,
"Take care, couz."
With that, he left.
