Yveria's POV
Two years had passed since I left the organization. I chose to live on this secluded island for my own peace of mind, a peace of mind that I don't think I could ever find anywhere I go.
Kararating ko lang galing France dahil may nagtanggap ako na Intel dalawang buwan na ang nakaraan, nandoon daw ang utak sa pagkamatay ng aking ama. I investigated first before going there and found out that it was a trap. They wanted to lure me out, and since someone must have informed them that I was looking for someone important, they deliberately sent false information, and the location was their hideout. I've been erasing rats like them in this world for so many years. I do not care whether they are in their hideouts and want to gang me up. Sa dami ng nasagasaan kong malalaking tao hindi na ako magtataka na meron nanaman susunod na gagalaw para iligpit ako lalo na at alam nilang wala na ako sa pangangalaga ng organisasyon. They shouldn't, however, mess with someone they don't truly know.
False information or not, I do not like useless people wasting my time, and most importantly, using my father's death as a reason to achieve their useless goal is making me mad. I could not let them get away with it, so I personally visited their hideout and killed them all.
Other than finding the culprit behind my father's death, after I left the organization, I spent my time looking for Mom. Kahit ilang taon na ang nakalipas naniniwala parin ako na buhay ang Mommy ko. Ginawa ko ang lahat ng makakaya ko para mahanap ko sya. Even though I can't feel anything right now, I've traveled the world in the hopes of seeing her and those comforting smiles again. But maybe...maybe if I see her again, babalik lahat ng emosyon at pakiramdam na meron ang puso ko noon.
Pagpasok ko ng mansyon ay agad na sumalubong si Ayazumi, my maid.
"Welcome home, my lady." Bati nito pagkatapos ay bahagyang yumuko. Binigay ko naman ang dala kong bag na agad naman nitong kinuha.
"Prepare my bath. Warm." Maikling saad ko dito. Dumeretso muna ako sa kwarto ko sa second floor para ilagay duon ang handgun na dala ko.
Before I enter my room, kinuha ko muna ang maliit na patalim na nakalagay sa loob ng itim na jacket ko. I used it to slightly cut my thumb then dripped the blood out of it on the doorknob.
This room looks like a typical room but I do not use my fingerprint, password or eye sensor to enter this room. I only registered my blood to the system of this room. It will not open without it.
"Ownership Confirmed." Then the door opened.
"Marina, show me my guns." I commanded as I enter the room and the wall immediately turned around. Marina is my AI butler.
Different firearms were revealed as the wall turned the other way around. I collected it throughout the years of working as an assassin and while traveling.
Lumapit ako sa small section kung saan hand gun at iba pang maliliit na weapon lang ang nakalagay. Binalik ko na ang baril na dala ko. Ipapatago ko na ulit sana ito ng biglang magsalita ang AI butler ko.
"Intruders Alert! West side. Consisting of 10 armed people."
"Master tell me your order." Magkasunod na saad nito
Heh. Intruders huh? Those dumbasses are courting death. Unfortunately, I just got home and I want to rest for now. I can still give them a warm welcome though.
"Just tell Aya to clean it. Feed their bodies to the failed species I've been experimenting with."
Those species are sea monsters and they are carnivorous.
"As you wish, Master." Sagot nito.
Lumabas na ulit ako na kwarto ng mga barili ko para maligo. Dumeretso na ako sa banyo at doon nilublob agad ang buong katawan ko sa bathtub na inihanda ni Aya. Ahh so warm and refreshing.Nilubog ko na rin kasama ang ulo ko sa tubig. I close my eyes at pinakiramdaman ang ligamgam ng tubig na bumabalot sa katawan ko.
Suddenly, the images of myself and my parents flash through my mind. Even though I lost them at a young age, those times with them are still vivid in my mind. I miss them, but my heart and mind couldn't get along.
I don't feel anything. Everything is plain.
Mom, where are you?
I was about to sit pero bago ko pa man maramdaman ang pag-ahon ng ulo ko sa tubig isang nakakasilaw na liwanag ang lumitaw sa aking harapan.
I was alarmed by this sudden blinding lights but I could not move.
"Yveria, my child.
Look for your other half before it gets out of control.
Before you drown in emptiness and completely lose your sense of humanity.
Look for her, my child.
She needs you right now and you need her."
