Chapter 07

FREYA
"What's wrong?" Suddenly he asked me. How his companion knows me? My mind couldn't processed but I'm starting to calm about him even he look scary and intimidating. I can't answered him well and my throat feel sore. Maybe I'm to exhausted to speak.
I shook my head at him and said, "nothing," I whispered. Although I can talk, I'm hesitant and can't force myself to speak that much. I tried to roam around and we let the silence prevail in this room. Only the sound of the air conditioner echoed here. I'm trying to look for something that I can escape but everything is closed— and dark.
When I hear the door open. I looked and saw this man's companion named Padzul who appeared. "What happened between you two? Are you both alright?" He wondered but none of the two of us spoke. He decided to come inside but something he pulled inside— a cart that had been covered on a metallic food cover. "A while ago. I decided to make something. I Hope you'll like it, Freya. I know you must be hungry, while looking at you. Your lips are pale," he said and placed the car near my bed.
My mouth watered in the aroma that surrounds that cover. As Padzul opened it, I was amazed. My mind was drizzling and my stomach growled in hunger. "I need to eat," I thought.
I noticed that someone is looking at me and in my peripheral vision. I saw Raven intently looking at me. I got shy and taken aback of what I should do.
I gulped while preventing that I'm drooling.  I bet Padzul noticed that he was smiling at me and gave me a spoon and fork. "You must be hungry. Wait I'll transfer this," he said while placing the tray that instantly he pulled something on the cart. I was really amazed and I couldn't help my excitement by gripping my utensils.
"Someone is hungry," Padzul teases. I was embarrassed and my face turned red. He was laughing at me but I couldn't look at him, even the person beside me who was observing me.
I noticed that Padzul walked beside me to place the tray so that I could eat properly and place the food. He was still laughing but suddenly he was groaning in pain.
"Are you okay? Something was hurting you?" I couldn’t help but to ask in a lower tone.
Padzul forced himself to nod at me. He put down everything and covers his mouth. He wants to scream and something pushes him. I frowned behind Padzul and Raven was averting his eyes and winched afterwards to look innocent. "A-a-a-ouch!" He reacted while his expressions were frowning and biting his lips.
Poor Padzul.
Padzul looked at Raven, only a glare he gave to him. "Hmmm!" Padzul whispered in a sarcastic tone to Raven— who was avoiding his gaze at him. They notice me while I'm stiffened in my seat, watching them. I couldn't help but to smile.
They both confused and Padzul said, "eat well." As he grabs Raven's collar in his polo and drags him outside of this room.
I was left alone and blinking my eyes in shock. I'm dumbfounded because it was too sudden that they left the room without saying anything, only to eat well.
But I sighed, and comfortably ate without someone watching me. I feel delighted, "Finally! They're gone . . . And now, bon appetit," happily slicing the steak.
I tried to open some of the food covers and saw a dozen different varieties of foods. There are desserts and appetizers, "Padzul was indeed a great cook. There's a ton, how could I finish this?" I gasped. And get the bite size of a chocolate cake with the filling of a chocolate moose.
This is freaking delicious.
I decided to try the steak again. My mouth was on cloud nine. The tender and juicy of this steak. The flavor of steak— spices are the one roasting me to feast on this.
When I was full, I decided to roam around. "This room is beautiful but too dark because of its color-- even though. It's elegant since Greyish black is on the wall ... other designs are like frames and canvas are white," I commented as I observed the place.
RAVEN
I was being pulled by this idiot. He signaled me to go somewhere so we could talk in private without hearing from that woman. "Where are we going?" Asking him calmly.
He decided to drag me down by letting go of my collar. "Office. I need to talk about something," he replied. When we arrived he immediately landed on my couch.
"What did you find? Is she from the other organization? If she is a spy?" I couldn’t help but to wonder. Padzul smirked at me and I frowned.
His expression changes into a serious one.  And it was not surprising for him to be like that. It means something's not right. His thin-lined lips turned with a grin. I noticed, "Why are you grinning?" I asked him in surprise.
"Well-- something triggers you to know someone ... someone who's interested to know a person," Padzul said teasingly.
I shook his head, "Spill it or else--," I threatened him.
I laughed at ME, "Okay. Okay, you don't need to threaten me like that," laughingly he said.
I ignored what he said. "Okay. Here are the facts that I investigate. Her name is Freya Ylana, 27 years old. She's living with her Aunt but her guardian died 2 years ago. So, what her Aunt left her— sustaining her to live." Padzul stated.
I was saddened by what happened to Freya. "Sad to hear for her," I could only say.
Padzul smirked at me and what I said about the girl.
"Ooh! You don't need to be sad ... but, I heard she has a boyfriend," Padzul said and teased me even more. I can't help but frown at what he said.
I didn't make him think about it so that he might regret, "Now, I'm dead ..." Padzul whispered. I was furiously mad at what I heard about Freya. "Open my drawer," I ordered him. He was startled and decided to open the drawer near my cabinet. I saw the papers attached. He placed it at my table, and I picked it up, and saw a biodata where Freya had a photo of it.
"That's the biodata I got from Freya and printed it ... You can read it, I'll go back to her," Padzul told me.
My forehead furrowed at what he said. "Now onwards you can't go inside my room," I decided so Padzul's eyes widened at what I said.
