The infamous garden of Zephyrus. There's a river that beautifully reflects the sunlight and bloomed flower buds that flew against the winds. Birds that are seemed to be singing chirps from here and there. Sweet flower fragrances flowlessly lingering into the air.
It's a place worth dying for.
The nanny spread out a clean picnic mat expertly that not a single crease was seen. Mother lifted me out from the stroller and laid me down on the picnic mat.
I kept leaning over from the weight forcing me to fall into a lying position.
'Hello?I'm still a baby?'
Leonard laughed at the sight of me then decided to put me on his lap.
"Hold her tight,but not so tight okay?" mother worriedly said.
"Yes, mother." brother replied while smiling down at me.
"Dianne, doesn't it feel good to be outside?"
I sat there emotionless and blinked.
Mother sat next to Leonard. She held my cheeks and squealed.
"Oh my goodness, aren't you a cutest?" she said with a beaming smile.
'let me go...'
Mother turned to Miranda right after torturing my poor chubby cheeks. I stifled out a yawn and leaned into Leonard's body. He then hugged me in response.
"It looks like Dianne is sleepy." brother softly whispered.
"Uwaa..." kind of.
Then, he ordered the royal maid who was organizing things up for our lovely little picnic.
"Bring the ice cream."
I raised my head at the word that flashed through my ears.
Being a baby sucks, milk in the morning, milk in the afternoon and milk in the evening. I wasn't able to eat anything besides the damn milk.
It was not long before the royal maid handed brother a bowl with chocolate ice cream that looked so sweet and soft.
"Here you go Your Majesty."
Leonard gave her a simple nod in response.
Brother scooped the ice cream with a small spoon. My eyes followed the spoon like I was possessed.
Must be nice ,being an adult. You can eat as much ice cream as you want. I stared at brother with eyes full of envy.
"Dianne, say ahhh~"
"...wah?" a cold thing popped into my mouth. As I kept my mouth open, Leonard closed my mouth with his other hand.
The sweet ice cream melted in my mouth. I looked back at my brother with my eyes shining.
"Is it good?"
"Mmmm!"
"Do you want to eat more?"
"Mmmm!"
Brother was about to feed me another spoon of ice cream when mother interfered.
"Leonard!What in the heavens are you feeding to your sister!" she looked shocked.
"Ummm... Ice cream." brother shyly answered.
"What if Dianne catches a cold?Your sister is still a baby, just a month old to be exact..."
"I'm sorry mother...it won't happen again."
"It's okay my child. When your sister grows up, you will be able to feed her handfull of ice creams."
"Do you really mean it?" brother eyes were shinning while looking at mother, who then nodded in response.
"Let me confiscate this..." mother snatched the bowl which had the chocolate ice cream in it.
'No! Not my ice cream!'
I glared at mother who sat beside nanny Miranda. I sighed in defeat.
'Being a baby really sucks...'
Everything was in peace once again, but not for a long time.
A seemingly blinding light suddenly landed behind the bushes of white roses just a few meters away from our location, the ground rumbled from the impact.
Brother and I, who were casually sitting on the picnic mat and as well as everyone there, were surprised by the sudden uproar.
'What is it?'
"What was that!?"
"Knights! Protect her majesty the Empress, the First Princess and the Crown Prince!"
"Your Majesties,please stand back."
"Hurry check the bushes!"
"Let us escort you back inside, Your Majesties..."
"Oh my goodness..." mother said worriedly as she hug onto Leonard and me.
The infamous garden of Zephyrus had become a mess because of a un-identified fallen object.
My mind is currently clouded with chaotic thoughts, as I look onto the direction where the blinding light landed. What was that blinding light just now? It came from the skies, so the curiousity is killing me right now.
'I want to see it...'
But I couldn't scape from the embraces of this stupid human beings.
Mother snatched me from my brother's arms. She smiled softly and hugged me tenderly while I trashed about as much as I could, to express my disdain.
'I want to see what that light is!'
Mother looked at me weirdly,she would not let me go not matter how much I moved. I could not bear it anymore and let out a sound as loud as I could.
"Aight!Aight!" light!
"Dianne..."
And then I realized a moment too late that everything around me grew silent.Surprised from my sudden words, Leonard dropped all semblance of composure.
"Did... Dianne just said light?Please correct me if I'm wrong mother."
As he spoke, Rose too, looked at me in exaggerated surprise and let out a nervous laugh.
"I also heard it as well... But that couldn't be it. Come on my child let us go back inside the castle. The royal garden isn't safe place to be in at the moment."
The situation was growing tense.
Miranda and the other royal maids nodded agreeing with my mothers words.
'No!'
"Aight!Aight!"
But mother and the others do not seem to hear my cute little pleas, my eyes were still focused on the location where the royal knights and the bushes of white roses are, until my vision became narrow.
And thats how my first experience outside ended.

The door of my room swung open with a loud bang, the emperor hurried inside with a sense of heavy urgency.
"Greetings, Your Majesty the Emperor."
The emperor walked passed by nanny Miranda and the other royal maids who bowed at him. He never once realized their presence as he dashed straight to my mother.
"My queen...are you all right?" he gently grab the queen's left hand and brought it onto his lips.
"Oh... Yes,of course. You don't have to worry that much my dear." said the empress with a visible bright red cheeks.
"Evans reported me what had happened,are sure that your not hurt elsewhere? How about the Leonard and Dianne?"
The empress silently pointed her right hand at my direction.
I turned my head to the side and shut my eyes tight, as soon as I saw him dashed forward onto where my little crib was.
A moment later, his hand reached out and touched me softly. His movements were cautious, afraid that I'd break apart.
I opened my eyes slowly, and there I saw the emperor's face, he was sweating ,his hair is madly disheveled.
He put his hand on my underarm and lifted me, pulling me into his chest and gently patting my body's back.
A strange feeling swelled over me. His comforting pats were annoying at first, caught me off guard and for the slight moment gave me a feeling of assurance and comfort.
"Phew..." I heard him sighed in relieve.
He turned to Leonard ,whose silently sitting at a chair beside my crib, watching us.
"I'm still alive and kickin' father." said Leonard with a grin on his face.
Marcus rolled his eyes in return.
"How's the investigation so far?"
"Evans reported, that the royal knights didn't saw anything suspicious besides a burnt soil."
"Oh my goodness...what could be that blinding light be?"
"There are no answers for that, at the moment. The royal garden is in restrictions because of the ongoing investigations."
"Aight?" light?
Suddenly, the emperor looked at me with a bewildered look in his face.
'Why are you looking at me like that?
"Did... Dianne just said light? My queen, correct me if I've heard wrong..."
Mother shook her head and smiled at father right after.
"We also heard her muttered the word light a while ago, oh well...That's my girl! She's a genius. To be able to talk this early and all, oh my goodness..." she said with a proud smile on her face.
Meanwhile father and Leonard wore a disappointed expression on their faces.
'What's with the down faces?'
My question was answered. A short while later, father and brother mumbled weekly...
"To think that her first word isn't older brother, but light..."
"To think that her first word isn't father, but light..."
That was their problem? Though it did seem to have affected them quiet terribly hard. They kept on repeating 'I lost to a damn light' over and over again.
The empress couldn't help but to laugh at the sight of her sulking husband and son.
'This people are crazy!!' I thought to myself.
