~MICHAELA'S P.O.V~
It was Monday. So, I have school today and I'm so excited because it's the first day of school! I was actually thinking what will happen in my first day of school since last night.
I was now looking at my reflection on the mirror, wearing my uniform. A white short sleeve button, red blazer, and red skirt up above my knee, long black socks, and black shoes.
Bumaba na ako para kumain at nasa dinning area kami ngayon, unang natapos sa pag-kain si Kuya Bullet kaya nag-paalam na s’ya kay Mommy. Si Ate naman maaga umaalis kaya naman hindi namin s’ya madalas maka-sabay kumain. Si Daddy naman maaga rin dahil maaga ang schedule niya sa rounds.
"Hey, remember what we said to you don't bully freshman," he said while wearing his serious face.
I just nodded and go back to eating. I glanced at him when he’s still standing in front of me. His face was very serious. Okay, that's scary.
"Okay fine. fine, I promise I will not bully freshman. But I told you, Kuya, it has a reason—" while raising my right hand.
"Okay fine. I’m late. Bye!” He said before leaving the house, agad ko rin namang narinig ang pag start ng kotse niya, kahulugang umalis na siya.
Anong kinain non?Bat mas’yadong tahimik? Bahala siya.
Inubos ko na ang pag-kain ko at hinatid ako ni mommy sa may labas kung saan nakaparada na ang kotseng nag-hihintay saakin.
“Love, you should listen to your siblings, okay?" My mom reminded me, again.
Pang-ilan na ba ito?
"Okay mom. I promise again," I kiss my Mom's cheek before going inside the car. Ilang minuto lamang ang biyahe papuntang school, dahil ilang metro lamang ang layo nito kapag labas ng Village namin.
I was already inside the school of course they're all looking at me, but it's normal for me. Nag-lakad ako papunta sa bulletin board to see my section. Sa section 12A-Athena ako napunta. Alam ko maarte ako, pero it's fine naman siguro because I'm brainy.
Nahanap kona din ang name ng mga kaibigan ko mag-kaklase kami hindi ko din mapag kakailang matalino ang mga kaibigan ko. Ang ipinagta-taka ko nga lamang is why we’re all in the same section—magka-kaiba kaya kami ng strand!
I guess, they are still finishing something. May hindi pa finish na building dito eh.
I went to our classroom. Siyempre section A tahimik ang iba—they called them as nerd, while others are talking with their sit mates, ‘yung ibang babae todo make-up. I’m not judging but actually mukha na silang espasol sa dami ng powder na in-apply nila.
The boy's stopped what were they doing and their eyes are all fixed on me as I walk towards my seat. Attention… Sanay na ‘ko d’yan.
"Hey Zy,here!" Cardilac, he’s one of my best friends.
"Hey,How was your beach vacation?” I asked Cardilac when I finally sat down on my seat. They had a beach vacation with his family 2 weeks ago. They want me to go with them but I rejected it because I want to spend my time with my family.
"Ayos lang naman naka binggwit ako ng gwapo at maganda ro’n. You know naman that I'm attractive, that's why, " He said and laugh like there's no tomorrow.
"HAHAHAHAHA that was a nice joke,huh?" Humaba naman ang nguso niya nang marinig ang sinabi ko.
My classmates went back to their seats when a teacher came in. Our advisor.
"Good morning class. My name is Beverly Mercado you can call me Ms. Ly also Ms.Mercado.I am your adviser this year," She said and smile. I think nasa 30's si Ms.Mercado. I can't deny that she's beautiful.
"So let's start introducing yourself here in front," Sabi n'ya.
Why is it necessary to introduce yourself on the first day of school? I'm pretty sure na kilala ang iba dito kasi minsan ng may inilaban sa ibang university dito. Including me and my best friends.
Nag-simula ng mag pakilala isa-isa nasa may bandang gitna kami kaya nag-tagal pa. Ngunit ‘di kalaunan ay sunod-sunod na kaming nagpa-pakilala.
"Hi my name is Camilla Aiden Anderson,just call me Lia, "Maikling pakilala niya,tumaas naman ang kilay ni Ms.Mercado.
"That's it, Ms.Anderson?" Ms.Mercado asked
Huminga naan siya ng malalim bago mag-salita."Better late than never. It's better to arrive somewhere later than planned rather than to not arrive at all." She said with no emotion.Hindi ba sya nangangalay sa pag fierce look nya? Oh god, she is definitely my friend. She has a bitchy attitude. She was our comfort zone even she was like that.
"Good morning I'm Alessandra Blair Sallow, just call me Sandra. Uhmm...Direction is the greater part of the valor.It’s always to know the moment when you have to give up rather than always acting brave and getting hurt," She's my friend too. Good girl ‘yan sa’min but sometimes she has attitude too. Kapag may problema kami sa Buhay or what, she always gives us advice. She was like a mother figureon us.
"Hi everyone I'm Cardilac Hillstone.Bird of a feather flock together. People like to spend time with others who are similar to them, " S'ya 'yung makulit samin, he was the one who was closest to me. When you have a bad day because of the projects in school he will make you smile. Hindi ka niya titigilan hanggat Hindi ka tumatawa or ngumingiti.
"I'm Brittany Gia Valencia, call me Bri or gia. The early bird catches the worm. you should wake up and start work early if you want to succeed."
"Aba,may pakinabang din pala minsan ang sinasabi nya." Bulong sakin ni Cardilac kaya napatawa ako. Gago ‘to!
Nang backstab ampotek. Nasa kanan ko s’ya, katabi si Bri at nasa kaliwa naman si Sandra na katabi si Lia.Back to the topic tayo, kay Bri.
Bri, always act like a kid. And yes she's my friend too. I remember Cadillac said to her , "Are you playing dumb or what?" Pero Hindi naman nagalit si Bri sa tanong n'ya siguro dahil lagi naman kaming ganoon and I don't regret that she was one of us because she is the one who balancing our friendship. Minsan kasi matured siya mag isip kapag seryoso kami but always ‘yung pagiging immature nya. I've never ever regretted that she's one of my besties, she has a good heart. Napaka bait niyang tao.
I'm the next so I stood up and go to the front
"I am Michaella Zynn—"I stop when someone knocked on the door. Amp epal!
"Sorry Ma'am, I'm late," Oh, he's a boy. His good-looking, tall, pointed nose, brown eyes, almond shape eye, messy hair. He passes to my type. BUT I don't like him, he only passes to my type.
Oh, Standard? Yes.
Nag tama ang aming mga mata ng humarap siya sa aking gawi. He was staring at me as if I was an exam. I saw him gulped before looking away from me.
He’s weird.
"It's okay, but don't be late next time. And just call me Mrs.Mercado. Take your seat," Sabi ni Mrs.Mercado.
"Thank you, Mrs.Mercado," he said. Humarap ulit sakin si Mrs.Mercado at ang mga classmate's ko.
"Continue, "sabi nya at ngumiti ng tipid saakin.
I nodded."I'm Michaella Zynnies Blood. A picture is worth a thousand words. A picture or photograph can often convey in a more empathetic way than just words.
"So you are the grand-daughter or daughter of the owner of this school?" she asked still smiling at me.
"I'm the granddaughter of Dr.Maximo, " I answered then I get back to my seat.I don't care kung bastos sa kanya yung inasal kong yon pero ayoko lang pag usapan si lolo,alam ko din kung saan mapupunta yung usapan.I'm sure they will ask me if I will get the course med student. They always ask me that question.
"Next," she said and gave me apologetic smile and looked away.
Tumayo ‘yung lalaking kaninang nang interrupt sa’kin habang nagpa-pakilala ako sa unahan. He was smilling as he walk toward infront . Pabida ba ‘tong lalaking ‘to?
I don’t like him.
Iginala niya ang kaniyang mga mata sa amin at ang bughaw niyang mata ay bumagsak sa’kin.
"Hi, I'm Christiane Laurent Craigh a former Carey Student . Just call me Chris for short. .. All good things come to an end.no one can stay happy forever, eventually, some hurdle or event will temporarily or permanently end a good streak," he said then walk back to his seat again.
"Oh, so you're from Carey University the rival of this University, " She sarcastic said and look in my direction.
I just rolled my eyes because of it. Here we go again, the school rival.
At ganoon na nga,nagpa-kilala na din yung iba kong kaklase. sa unahan.Saktong natapos ang huling nagpa-kilala ay tumunog na ang bell.Ibig sabihin,mag-papalit na ng teacher.I mean,lilipat sila sa room namin para mag-turo ng lesson sa subject na naka-assign sakanila.Ang gandang bungad saamin nung prof pagkapasok ng room,biruin mo ba pag-katapos namin mag-pakilala isa-isa,resitation kaagad!
Hindi pa nakaka kalahating araw parang sobrang pagod na ako.Gusto ko na matulog. I need my bed damn much.
