Amelia ran to the topmost floor in her school with tears in her eyes. Her uniform was soiled with eggs, tomatoes and flour particles. Her hair was wet with water mixed with egg and it dripped down her uniform making her smell bad and unkempt.
She looked at the unfamiliar environment she was in and cold shivers ran down her spine. She dragged her feet to the rails with her mind in turmoil, "is she ready to do this?" she asked herself, unsure of her decision.
With a look of determination, she held the rails and began to climb. The cool evening breeze blew across her face making her hair to scatter all over her tear stained face.
She took a deep breath and allowed her legs to cross over the rails in an attempt to jump out, "What are you doing?" she heard a deep masculine voice and turned abruptly in fear to see a handsome man standing few feet away from her. He held sadness and fear in his eyes.
"Who is this man and what is he doing here at this odd hour?" She wondered. "What could be the reason behind his tears", "Why do I feel we are connected somehow?", "what is this feeling I'm having?" all these ran through her mind as they stared at each other.
