After I said that she slapped me again. Is that all she can do? No pulling of hair? Tearing of clothes? Throwing of high heels like I always see in the movies?

I was trying to escape but I failed and fell on the ground. He grabbed one of my feet that's why I feel.

My heart is pounding. I am hyperventilating, all was turning black. I can't feel my body anymore. I am losing my strength.
I can hear them laughing then suddenly the door opens. I can't see who entered because my vision is turning around and I know anytime I'm going to faint but I can still hear them.
"F*ck you!!" Swears. I heard a familiar voice saying that then after that all I hear was the sound of punching each other's body.
One of my eyes is slightly open and the other is closed. I don't want to lose consciousness.
"Don't you ever dare touch my girl again or I swear I'll really kill you!!! You understand?"
That voice is really familiar. That's the only thing keeping me conscious right now.
"Whatever. F*ck you dude. Let's go Gabe" I heard the door open and then slammed.
I tried to straighten my position because I was about to faint then I felt someone pulling me closer.
"Race..." Hearing him call my name made me emotional and somewhat safe. I tried to embrace him with all my might.
"I'm sorry I left you love. This is all my fault, I shouldn't have left you alone"
His voice was breaking when he said that as if he was crying.
"K-Killian..." That was the only thing I could say. He pulled me away to face me then after that I don't know what happened.
"Race? Veronika Race...wake up please." I can still hear voices but I can't open my eyes. It's as if it was locked. I felt him carrying me outside the hall.
After an hour or two.
"Race? Race? Thank God you're awake" I saw him holding and kissing my hand. He was really worried, I can see in his eyes and facial expressions.
"W-where am I?" This is definitely not a hospital room but I have some IV Fluids here injected in my hand.
"Oh. You're in my penthouse. I did not bring you to the hospital because their service is too slow that's why you're here. My grandpa's private doctor and nurses are the ones who checked on you"
For some reason I was nervous. By any chance, does he know my secret already?

"W-what did they tell you?" My heart started pounding like crazy. You're not a bass drum. Dang it.
"They told me you're just stressed about what happened, that's why you lost consciousness."

"Are you sure? Nothing else?" Why do I feel weird, like he's not saying everything the doctor told him or am I just being paranoid?
"Hundred percent sure. Why? Is there something I should be worried about?"
Right. I'm being paranoid. I guess the doctor didn't check on my background. Good enough then.
I can't tell him my condition. I'm not keeping it forever, I just really want a normal life with people treating me normally.
"Nothing. Thank you Killian for saving me" I held his hand and pulled him closer to hug him.
I feel really safe in his arms. He's like my guardian angel.
"Don't thank me. I was the one who left you there alone. I got a call from an unknown number saying my family has been hostaged. What the caller doesn't know is that I only have my grandpa, my parents are long gone. So I got distracted and curious as to who the caller is that I forgot about you" I got a feeling that it's a part of Sasha's evil plan. To distract Killian while im being tortured inside.
"It's not your fault Killian. Don't blame yourself. If it wasnt for you, I'd probably be raped by those pervert maniacs right now so thank you for saving me" I hugged him tight so he'll feel better. I know he's blaming himself for what happened.
No one's to blame but Sasha and her evil minion squad.
"I promise you, they will get the right punishment for what they did to you. They won't get away with this."
He cupped my face then kissed my forehead. His hands are really warm and soft.
"Thank you Killian"
I am really lucky to have him by my side.
