CHAPTER 4

Alice didn't trust humans, and she certainly didn't want one wandering into her lair uninvited. However, as she find Eva, she sensed something different about her. There was a strength, anger and determination in her eyes that Alice couldn't ignore.
"Very well," Alice said at last. "You may stay for a while, but don't get too comfortable. I won't hesitate to attack"
They circled each other, each waiting for the other to make the first move. And then it happened.
Eva swung the silver knife, but Alice was too quick. She dodged the blade and grabbed Eva's wrist, twisting it painfully. Eva cried out in pain, dropping the knife. Alice kicked it away, and it clattered across the pavement. "You're nothing but a weak human," she spat, tightening her grip on Eva's wrist.
Eva struggled, trying to free herself from Alice's grasp. She knew she was no match for the vampire's strength, but she refused to give up. She kicked Alice in the stomach, and the vampire stumbled back, loosening her grip on Eva's wrist. Eva took the opportunity to scramble to her feet, picking up the silver knife. She held it tightly, her knuckles turning white. "Stay back," she warned, her voice trembling.
Alice laughed again, amused by the human's feeble attempt at self-defense. "You can't kill me with that," she taunted, baring her fangs. "Let me feel you anger, you're revenge!."
But Eva wasn't listening. She lunged at Alice, the silver knife glinting in the moonlight. Alice tried to dodge, but Eva's aim was true. The blade plunged deep into Alice's chest, and the vampire let out a bloodcurdling scream. Alice felt the sharp pain, and then everything went black. She was dead, her body collapsing to the ground.
Eva watched in horror as Alice's body began to disintegrate, her flesh turning to dust. The vampire's screams grew fainter and fainter, until they finally faded away.
Eva left the room alone, and go on the empty street, the silver knife still clutched in her hand. She felt a sense of relief mixed with fear. She had killed a vampire, not just a vampire but the one who trained her to fight against vampires.
She looked up at the moon, feeling a strange connection to the night sky. She knew that her life would never be the same again. She had crossed over into a world of darkness and danger, a world ruled by creatures like Alice.
As Eva walked away, she knew that she had chosen her own fate. She would no longer be a victim, but a warrior. And she would always carry the memory of that night, the night she had faced her fear and emerged victorious.
As the sun shines trough the city of New Orleans
Eva woke up to the sound of cars honking and screeching tires. She groaned as she sat up, rubbing her eyes and yawning. It took her a few moments to realize that she was lying on the side of the road, with her head resting on a discarded pizza box.
As she got to her feet, she noticed something strange about her body. Her senses seemed to be heightened, and her hunger was overwhelming. She felt a sudden craving for something she couldn't quite name, something that she had never felt before.
"Maybe this is because of what happened last night" Eva said to her self
Confused and disoriented, Eva stumbled down the road, looking for someone to help her. But no one seemed to notice her.
It was only when she stumbled upon an old abandoned building that things began to make sense. As she approached the building, a sudden urge to enter overtook her. As she stepped inside, she realized that she was not alone.
Standing in front of her was a handsome man, tall, and with piercing eyes. Eva felt a strange attraction to him, and she didn't know why.
"Who are you?" she asked, her voice shaking.
As she tries to look at him, her head spun and she lost consciousness, everything going dark around her.
Eva slowly opened her eyes, blinking against the bright light that filtered in through the windows. She tried to sit up, but found herself feeling weak and dizzy. Looking around, she realized she was in an unfamiliar room, with heavy velvet curtains draped over the windows and antique furniture lining the walls.
As she tried to piece together what had happened, a man suddenly entered the room, carrying a tray of food. He was tall and pale, with sharp features and piercing blue eyes that seemed to glint in the dim light.
"Ah, you're awake," he said, setting the tray down on a nearby table. "I was beginning to worry."
Eva stared at him, feeling a mix of fear and fascination. There was something about him that was both alluring and terrifying.
"Who are you?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper.
"I am Gabriel," he said with a cold on his voice.
Eva's heart skipped a beat. "Gabriel?" she repeated, her mind struggling to comprehend what was happening. "Sounds familiar"
Gabriel's expression turned serious. "I save your life," he said. "You just got lost conciousness in front of me."
Eva felt a sudden pang of shameless. She remembered what happened last night, the fighting against her and Alice.
"You should eat," he said, his voice low and husky. "It will help you regain your strength."
Eva was too weak to continue the conversation. She reached for the food and started to eat. It was a strange mix of flavors, but she was too hungry to care. As she ate, she felt her strength returning.
