As the sun set on the city of New Orleans, the streets grew quiet and still. The only sounds were the rustling of leaves in the wind and the occasional distant howl of a wolf.
Eva's mind seemed to wander. She couldn't focus on the fight and kept getting distracted.
"Alice, I don't know what's wrong with me," Eva said, shaking her head. "I just can't seem to concentrate."
Alice stopped her movements and looked at Eva with concern. "What's going on? Is something bothering you?"
Eva hesitated for a moment before finally speaking. "I had a nightmare again and it's making me sick!"
Alice sighed. "Look, I'm always training you so that you could get your revenge, we'll be ready for that day. I've been training you hard, and you should know what to do."
"Let's keep training," Alice said
They continued to spar, focusing on their movements and breathing.
Alice locked onto Eva's as the young woman struggled to catch her breath. Sweat dripped down Eva's forehead, and her chest heaved as she gasped for air.
"You're not strong enough," Alice said, her voice firm but gentle. "You have to push yourself harder if you want to survive out there."
Eva nodded, determination in her eyes. "I know. I'll do better."
Alice nodded, standing up from her perch on a nearby bench. She walked over to Eva and placed a hand on her shoulder. "I believe in you. But you have to believe in yourself, too."
Eva took a deep breath and stood up straighter, her eyes focused on Alice. "I do. I want to be strong enough to face anything that comes my way."
Alice smiled. "Good. Then let's keep going."
For hours, the two of them trained, each moment more intense and painful than the last. Alice pushed Eva to her limits, determined to make her stronger and more capable. But as the night wore on, Eva began to falter.
"I can't do this anymore," she gasped, sinking to her knees.
Alice knelt down beside her, placing a hand on her back. "You can. You have to."
"I'm not strong enough," Eva said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Alice's eyes narrowed. "You are. But you have to be willing to fight for it. Are you willing to fight for it, Eva?"
Eva looked up at her, her eyes filled with tears. "I am. I'll do whatever it takes."
Alice nodded, a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. "Good. Then let's get back to it."
The hours passed, and Eva's determination never wavered. She pushed herself harder than she ever had before, and slowly but surely, she began to grow stronger. And as the night turned to morning, Alice knew that Eva was ready.
"You've done well," she said, clapping Eva on the back. "But we're not done yet." Alice added
Eva looked up at her, confusion in her eyes. "What do you mean?"
Alice smiled. "It's time for you to face your greatest challenge."
Eva's heart raced as Alice led her out of the training room and down a long, winding hallway.
They passed room after room, each one filled with strange and terrifying creatures. Eva could feel her palms growing sweaty as they drew closer to their destination.
Finally, they arrived at a massive door made of thick, black iron. Alice pushed it open, revealing a dark, foreboding chamber within. The air was thick with the scent of blood, and Eva could feel her heart pounding in her chest.
"What is this place?" she whispered.
Alice stepped forward, her eyes locked onto a massive figure in the center of the room. "This is where you will face your greatest challenge. This is where you will prove yourself."
Eva took a step forward, her eyes widening as she saw the fangs of Alice.
"You're going to fight me or maybe we should say you should kill me or I should kill you?" she whispered.
Eva took a deep breath, steeling herself for the fight ahead. She walked forward, her eyes locked onto Alice, and raised her fists. Alice grinned, revealing its sharp fangs, and lunged forward.
"Why? I... I never thought you're a vampire" Eva asked with confusion
"I'm doing these for you Eva, and I have no any longer to do here. I just want you to fight them"
"What do you mean?" Eva asked
"You'll discover it by yourself, but now you need to win or else you'll die." Alice smirked
