That may be true or not, but running away is the safest route for you to seek your way out.
It was not like it wasn't in stories that were ever written, but people tend to flee every time they were put in a drastic situation.

She bitterly smiled. How ironic to ask for someone like her.
But the thing is, people are not even thinking of why you did what you did. They failed to understand what you have been running away from. They forget to think of why you resorted on that one last thing. Or maybe, they just don't get to be in your shoes to know why you fell for that kind of decision.
Nonetheless, it happened already.
And for her, it was a choice — a very best choice — that she needed to take for her to be saved from all her misery.
What if... the only thing in her mind was the overwhelming urge to run away?
She got nothing but herself and it seemed that her world started to crumble.
The air-conditioned expensive car gave her a cold atmosphere. The tension she was feeling tripled with the thought that she couldn't save her reputation.
"No, no... t-this is not h-happening," she frantically said and cupped her face soaking with her own tears. "I c-can't do that..."
Mabigat ang kaniyang pakiramdam at ang mga mata ay namumugto dahil sa mga patak ng luha na walang tigil sa pagdaloy sa kaniyang mga pisngi. Kahit anong palis niya doon ay hindi niya ito maampat man lang.
Nagmistulang bukal ng tubig ang kaniyang mga matang hindi na makita kahit ang kanilang dinaraanan.
"H-Hindi a-ako 'yon," wika niya kahit nauutal sa bawat hikbi niya, "pero b-bakit? P-Paano niya... nagawa sa'kin 'yon," bumuhos na naman ang panibagong luha sa kaniyang mga matang hindi na halos maimulat.
Hindi niya lubos maisip kung paanong nauwi sila sa ganitong kagipit na sitwasyon. She didn't even know what's more excruciatingly painful. Ang katotohanan bang kabulaanan ang namagitan sa kanilang dalawa o ang pagtaksilan siya nito?
Pero pagtataksil nga bang maituturing iyon kung siya naman ang walang lugar sa buhay nito?
She was thankful that she stumbled on his way. She was sure as hell that he knew about it but he didn't ask her anything. He didn't judge her after seeing what had been spread and guided her to the parking lot instead.
Madilim ang mukha nito at nag-iigtingan ang mga panga. And then she heard him cursed. "That asshole..."
Nagkaroon ng bikig ang kaniyang lalamunan. Kinakapos siya ng hininga dahil na din sa kaniyang mga hagulgol.
She took a deep breath but she couldn't even relax her shoulders.
"Stop crying, Kiera. I'm here, I won't leave you," he said while gripping the steering wheel tightly and drove faster.
He wanted to ask a lot of questions based on his face but she couldn't come up with an explanation without bursting into tears. He remained silent and just checked up on her from time to time.
"H-How did that h-happened?" Wala sa sariling tanong niya.
It's true that she couldn't pull back the time and she didn't know what would happen next.
But everything was still vivid in her mind and those judgmental stares she received after that leaked video seemed to be embedded inside her. Her chest twisted in pain and their cruel words kept playing like a broken record inside her head.
"Such a real bitch, how dare her!"
"She really was a slut..."
"How disgusting. She's seducing men. How cheap..."
"Dude, I'm sure this got a high price if sold on websites."
"I didn't know she could stoop that low..."
"Maybe, she sold her body or sent nudes to get some high grades."
Ang ilan ay hindi na niya masikmura pa. Mapanghusgang mga tingin na animo'y duming-dumi sa kaniya at pagkadisgusto ang hindi mawala sa kaniyang isipan.
When she was spending all her precious moments and thinking about enjoying her youth, she never thought that would end instantly.

She felt she was betrayed and toyed around! She didn't know the difference between the truth and lies.
