--
How can I escape a life I never dreamed of? I seem to be a criminal running the law just to survive in a game I don't like.
I was hiding in a certain group where my father has been debted and they want me as a payment!
Why would I pay my honor and soul to people who worship money and demons? I ran away from my Father's power after learning of the antics he was doing.
So now, I'm like a rat hiding for fear of being caught by a hungry cat. But my world changed when I met the man I never thought I would find the peace I wanted. The nervousness and fear disappeared from my whole body as our paths met.
I was working in a prestigious bar where only rich people can enter. I am working as an entertainer Dahil nga sa nagtatago ako. But those assholes find out where I was. Nagkagulo sa loob ng bar nang hanapin nila ako but my workmates won't allow them to find me immediately.
I currently get into a car that was left open after being stuck in an encounter inside the bar. Fortunately, the windshield was tinted. I heard footsteps from outside as I kept the car door open.
"Find her, dead or alive!" my body started trembling even my tears are flowing on my face because of fear.
I always ask myself if I deserve to be like this in the course of my life? I'm happy the life I have is just quiet but my father ruined everything!
I left my comfortable life, my home, even my friends where I could ask for help. But I don't want them to get involved in my life full of mess!
"Kindly explain what are you doing inside my car?" napalunok ako sa sarili kong laway. His voice is like a piece of music to my ear. It was deep but gentle.
Fear crept through my body because of the strength of this man's feelings. How did he know that someone was hiding inside his car?
"Please don't tell them that you saw me. I don't want you to get involved in this kind of a mess, I still want to live and build a family." bulong ko pero sinigurado kong maririnig niya 'yon. I knew I still couldn't hold back the tears in my eyes but I kept myself from sobbing and I might be knocked down in no time.
"Problem?" aniya sa lalaking kumatok matapos ning buksan ang bintana ng kotse.
"Mr. Montenegro, did you see or notice someone running around here? Boss, is looking for a woman. I'm just wondering if you might have seen her," mariin akong napapikit ng palihim na lumingon sa gawi ko ang binata.
"I see. Sorry to disturb you Mr. Montenegro." umalis na ang lalaki sa tabi ng bintana kaya isinara na yun ng binata.
I breathed a sigh of relief because he didn't point me to the men chasing me.
"You owe me your life. Maybe I can get some payment," nalaglag ang panga ko dahil sa sinabi niya.
He started the car's engine and drove away from that bar.
His deep brown eyes darted me using the rearview mirror.
"I don't need your body, Miss Little Red Hiding To Someone." aniya.
I gulp.
"Be my secretary and your secrets will be safe inside my company,"
Reiden Grei Montenegro...a mysterious guy offering me a job as his secretary to secure my safety.
Should I trust him?
But I owe him my life which means he can own me wherever he wants!
Am I ready? Is my heart ready for the new life to be pursued with this mysterious man?
