Izen approached Kiau. He smiled but Kiau looks terrified. Izen held a knife in his right hand.
“It’s okay, Kiau. It won’t hurt.” Izen said.
“How can you say something like that while holding a knife.” Kiau avoided Izen. “Calm down.” he tried to stop Izen with his handcuffed hands.

Izen scratched his finger. “Oh, that’s hurt.” He looked at the blood. There were blood coming out of his finger. “Oh that turned out to be painful.” he was grinning.
“Here, smell it.” Izen brought his hand closer to Kiau.
Kiau looked at him flatly, “How can I smell it from that little scratched.” he thought it was not working. But because his sense of smell became sharper than normal humans, he could smell the blood from those small cuts.
“So this is not work-” Izen tried to pull his hand back. But suddenly Kiau grabbed his hand.
“Wait.” Kiau closed his eyes and smelled the blood. Izen looked at Kiau. They were waiting in the silence.
Kiau opened his eyes, looking at Izen, “There was a blue butterfly in my back, when we were at the cafe, at the first time we met. You make it fly away.”
“Oh, how do you know?” Izen nodded. “You see it from my point of view.” and he answered his question.
“But it is too much information. It’s not the memory that matters.” Izen said. “There may be variables that affect seeing an important memory or not, the length of memory, and the timing of the memory.”
After talking at length, he came to a conclusion. “We have to try again,” Izen’s eyes beamed again.
“And you hurt yourself agai-” Kiau hasn’t finished his sentence yet. Izen scratched his other finger again. He was grinning.
Suddenly the door opened.
“Izen, I have already bought the drinks.” Rudal come. He looks surprised at Izen’s bloody hand.
“Waaa! Your hands!” Rudal yelled and then ran towards Izen. He eats Izen’s bloody finger. He tried to stop the bleeding on Izen’s finger. Both of Rudal’s hand were still holding pineapple juices.
“That’s my precious blood,” Izen looked resigned. He let Rudal stop the bleeding. “Well, that’s that then.”
“What happened here?” Rudal looked confused. He sat between Kiau and Izen. “What are you to doing?” he looks worried.
“Only do a few research experiments.” Izen bandaged the wound on his finger, but he’s in trouble. Rudal helped him to put it properly.
“That’s okay, It is just a scratched.” Izen smiled at Rudal. Rudal feels relieved, he smiled back.
“Mr.Kiau, I just remembered. You have an appointment today right?” Izen looked at Kiau. “...with a psychologist.”
Kiau forgot about it to, and he doesn’t want to go there anymore. Kiau nodded.
“We can’t do psychological treatment at the police station, so...” Izen smiled.
“Here we are,” Izen looked up. There were Kiau and Rudal beside him. They are in front of the Kiau psychology doctor’s place. “You got two police bodyguards this time.” Izen looked at Kiau.
“That’s right. We will protect you Mr.Kiau.” Rudal tried to convincing Kiau.
“You are not here to protect me, but to keep me from running away,” Kiau said in a flat tone. How could their job be so drastically changed.
“Let’s go inside.” Izen led them. They went inside. Izen knocked and opened the doctor’s door.
“Excuse me, doctor. We have come-” Izen stopped.
“K-Kiau?” the doctor’s voice was hoarse. “I was so glad you are coming here again.” He smiled.
“Wait, doctor. Calm down.” Izen looked afraid. Kiau entered the room, and Rudal followed behind.
They saw a terrifying sight. The doctor held a knife with his hands. He was pointing a knife to his neck. He standing there while smiling. He didn’t hear what Izen said.
“I was waiting you all day, Kiau. I was so afraid you didn’t come again. You said something that really scared me last week.” He looks so scary.

“Doctor! Put that knife...” Rudal scared something bad will happen. He looks worried. “Doctor...”
Izen called an ambulance and the police.
Izen looked at Kiau. Kiau expression didn’t change, like there isn’t anything happen in front of him. The doctor looks very focused on Kiau, as he didn’t see anything.
“What do you want?” Kiau suddenly spoke.
The doctor looks startled. “Of course I want you.” he grinned.
What the doctor said gave Kiau goosebumps, “What?” Kiau looked upset.
“Do-doctor, we are police. Put that weapon down now!” Rudal stuttered. He tried to stop doctor. He points the gun at the doctor, trying to threatened him.
“Wait, Rudal. It’s seems the doctor isn’t listening to us. He only listened to Kiau.” Izen tried to stop Rudal. Rudal nodded and put down his gun. “And there is no point on threatened someone that want to suicide.”
Izen whispered to Kiau. “He just listening you, can you cooperate?” Izen looked seriously at Kiau. He put his hand on Kiau’s shoulder. “We are counting on you.”
“What do you mean ‘you want me’?” Kiau asked.
“Cause you are my patient. My precious patient.” The doctor lowered his knife. The knife not close to his neck anymore. “In the past and until now.” He smiled scarily.
“What? What do you mean in the past?” Kiau looked curious.
Izen looked at Kiau. he a little afraid what Kiau asks will make the doctor commit suicide. But he can’t do anything. He could only wait.
“Kiau, can you ask him to put that knife away?” Izen trusts Kiau. But Kiau didn’t nod or even looked at him.
“Izen, the doctor ignore us, right?” Rudal asked to Izen. Izen feels Rudal will say things he doesn’t want to hear.
“I will slowly come to him. When the time is right, I will immediately apprehended him and put away his weapon.” Rudal looked so proud to his plan.
“Wait. That’s dangerous, let me-” Izen’s words were cut off.
“Do you trust me, right? I am also a police officer. You are needed here, help Kiau talk to him.” Rudal tried to convincing him.
Izen let Rudal doing his plan. And he is still afraid he can’t made Kiau cooperate with him.
“I used to be a doctor. But not psychological doctor.” the doctor lowered his knife more than before. Izen and Rudal can breathe easier. Rudal walked closer to the doctor.
“Here...” the doctor lift up his knife again, it make Izen looks scared.
“Kiau... say something to stop him.” Izen said. But Kiau ignored it. Kiau looked at the doctor with flat face, no expression.
“...I will make you remember me.” The doctor stabbed his neck. The blood gushing everywhere.
“Kiau!” Izen shouted, but didn’t get an answer. He shook Kiau’s body.
“Doctor!” Rudal ran to the doctor.
“bl-blood will co-ome out a lof fro-o-m the wo-und in the ne-” Doctor’s voice gradually trailed off. And then he fell.
“Wa-wait doctor!” Rudal stuttered. He feels like crying. He sat beside the doctor, his clothes was drenched with doctor’s blood.
Izen leaves Kiau and runs towards Rudal. He looks disappointed at Kiau. Izen takes off his shirt and covers the wound on the doctor’s neck. He tried to stop the heavy bleeding.
“Don’t worry. I have called an ambulance and the police.” he smiled and trying to calm Rudal. Rudal was crying.
Kiau was still standing without the slightest change in expression. He closed his eyes, and walking slowly. He walked following the smell of doctor’s blood. Until he was close to Rudal and Izen.
“What are you doing?” Izen asked.
Kiau opened his eyes, “I am seeing his memories. What else? You already know right, Izen?” he said it with a flat tone.
“That’s not what I mean. You do it now?” Izen asked. “There was someone dying here.” Izen looks disappointed.
“And then when?” Kiau sat crouched, “He did this because he want me to remember him. If I don’t do it now, his sacrifice was in vain.”
“What was that mean, Izen?” Rudal looks confused.
Izen didn’t say anything, he was in silent.
“And he was already dead.” Kiau said while looked at the doctor on the floor. Izen and Rudal looked down, looking the doctor. The doctor was already died.
“Before the police and an ambulance come.” Kiau looked at Izen, waiting his permit.
Izen looked frustrated. He closed his eyes while looking down. “Do it,” he said it forcefully. Rudal looked confused.
Izen smiled at Rudal, “Rudal comes out, and if the ambulance has come, help them to get here.” Rudal didn’t say anything and went out.
Kiau did what he had to do. Something that only he could do.
