Christmas season just started. Decorations can be seen everywhere.
5 days had passed and Tiffany still locked herself inside her room.
She will just go out when Sooyoung will go to work or when Sooyoung is already asleep.
All he friends kept on trying to contact her but she never answer anyone’s call including her sister.
Tiffany will just stare on her phone wallpaper. The only photo that of her and Taeyeon that she manage to retrieved when her dad deleted everything on her phone.
That photo is the only thing that keeps her sanity, the love that she has for Taeyeon.
It was different no, all that she wants to do is fight for their relationship but she doesn’t want to hurt Taeyeon even more. She is torn on what she should do.
Tiffany is trying to think of what will she do with her life. She wanted a fresh start away from her dad. And she knows in order to do that she needs to end her ties in LA.
The danger of her going back home to LA is very high knowing that her dad will do everything just to make her stay in LA.
For Tiffany her life in LA ended the moment her dad did those things to her. Hurting her not physically but emotionally and torturing her mentally.
She is ready to cut ties with him and she doesn’t care about him anymore.
Call her ungrateful, she doesn’t care anymore.
Her thought were interrupted when she heard a knock on the door. She immediately pretended to be sleeping because she knows that Sooyoung will scold her and ask a lot of questions and she is not yet ready to answer any of them.
“Stop pretending to be asleep. I know you are still awake. It’s been 5 days Tiffany. Stop hiding in here. You are better than this and I know you know you can do something other than staying here all day” Sooyoung can no longer take it anymore as she is very concern about her well-being. She wanted to help her but she can’t interfere on their issue anymore.
“I’m fine, Soo”
“”Great. Then get up and we will leave in 2 hours” TIffany groans. She doesn’t want to go out, heck she doesn’t even want to see anyone.
“Just go. I don’t want to go out. I just want to sleep”
“It’s Friday. And you know what does it means. In case you forgotten, it was your idea for us to meet every Friday night. So get yourself ready”
At the restaurant they all looks like seeing a ghost the moment they arrived one by one. Taeyeon is already sitting on their usual spot.
“Is this really real? Like we are not dreaming, right?” Yuri dramatically ask her friends
“Shut up Yul” Taeyeon hissed
For the first time after 5 years, Taeyeon was the first one to arrive before anyone else. And for the first time that will not be betting if she will come or not.
Sunny is not surprise but she is more worried about her. She just hope that what she’s thinking is not right.
“What happened to Sooyoung and Tiffany? Why are they not here?” Sunny ask when she notice the two who are always the early bird is missing in their table.
“Sooyoung has to literally drag Tiffany out of her room. But they are almost here. Sooyoung just texted me” Hyoyeon informed the group. Hyoyeon forgot that Taeyeon is already there.
Taeyeon suddenly stand up “I will just go to the bathroom guys”
“Yah! Don’t you dare ditch us now” Sunny warned her
“I am just going to pee. If you want you can guard the door”
“I don’t believe you,Taeng. Leave your phone here just to be sure” Yuri challenge her
Taeyeon had nochoice but to leave her phone on the table. They know that Taeyeon can’t go without her phone.
When they finally let her go do her business, Yuri suddenly thought a plan.
“Seo, can you transfer to another seat?” Yuri suddenly ask their maknae
“Why? I always seat beside Taeyeon unnie”
“Please, just do it before they arrive”
Seohyun realize why she ask her to trasfer “ Unnie, they will not like this. I’m sure Taeyeon unnie will get mad at you” Seohyun argues but still follow her unnie
“We should see for ourselves if they are willing to talk to each other before we let them have that talk” Yuri explain her sudden plan and none of them disagree
“Is that Tiffany unnie?” Yoona is staring at Tiffany with disbelief
They all turn to see and was shocked to see Tiffany who lose so much weight and her eyes are so dark like she haven’t been sleeping for a long time
“Unnie, what happened to you?” Yoona ask
“Nothing. I’m fine guys. Really I am” Tiffany answer or trying to convince her friends.
Yuri calls Sooyoung to sit beside her and Sooyoung look around her friends then she knew that they are up to something to make the two sit together.
Before Tiffany sits, she sigh when she saw Taeyeon is still not ther. She is still hoping that maybe she can see her again even just for that night.
“Come on. Let’s order” A voice coming from  behind her makes them all turn their head. She saw Taeyeon smiling but it was gone the moment their eyes met.
Tayeon forgot about the boundaries that she set the moment she saw Tiffany at that state.
She is genuinely concern for her that she forgot that the girls are with them looking at her.
“Fany-ah, what’s wrong? Are you sick?” Taeyeon immediately take the seat beside Tiffany, she cupped her face trying to see if she’s sick that caught Tiffany off guard
“I’m fine Taeyeon. Don’t worry about me” Tiffany replies. She wanted to remove Taeyeon’s hands from her face but her warm hands makes her not to do it.
Taeyeon ended up ordering foods for her. All her favorites to be exact. Their hands are intertwined like they don’t want to let go of each others hand.
Though they are holding hands under the table. Their friends eagle eyes still caught it.
They are smiling knowing that they already knows that the love for each other is not yet gone.
When the food was serve Taeyeon started serving Tiffany and putting some meats on her plates.
Tiffany find it very strange for Taeyeon to be acting like that when she just told her that she wants her to go.
“Tae, you should eat too. Here” Tiffany place some meats too on her plate
Taeyeon and Tiffany are all smiling like they are on their on date.
They are happy but the girls are tearing up seeing them together again.
It  is very clear to them now that they only the two of them can help each other and that there is still hope for them to rekindle their love for each other.
“Hey lovebirds. Done being lovey dovey?” Yuri teases them that makes the two of them move from each other
“Just say that you’re jealous of them” Hyoyeon teases her that makes the girls laugh
They never had a good Friday night out like that ever since that happens.
“Unnie, can we all take a group photo? This was one of the best Friday night that we ever had” Seohyun requested
“Good idea. It’s been a while guys” It surprise everyone that it was Taeyeon who agrees.
They took a lot of photos and Seohyun immediately sent it to their group chat.
All their phones light up upon receiving the notifications. Tiffany and Taeyeon also grabs the phone in front of them not realizing if it was their own.
Tiffany eyes widen when she saw the wallpaper of the phone that she is holding. It was a photo of their hands intertwined showing their promise ring. She wll never forget that night.
She then look at Taeyeon who has the same expression like her while staring at her phone.
Taeyeon is looking at the wallpaper , remembering that day. Tiffany’s wallpaper is their photo when they first kiss. It was taken during their summer break.
They sadly smile at each other before exchanging phones.
The girls saw what happen but they don’t exactly knows what they saw.
“Tae, can we talk tonight?” Tiffany ask hoping that she will finally agree.
Tiffany wanted to end everything that night. She just want to tell Taeyeon everything that she is hiding from her.
The girls hear it, and just like TIffany then are also anticipating Taeyeon’s response
“Okay” A short answer that makes all of them celebrate. Hoping that it will finally opens another door for them.
“Let’s call it a night then” Sooyoung recommended
Outside the restaurant the girls are planning to have an over night stay at Sunny’s house in case something will happen with Taeyeon. Since that unfortunate day happens, they really look after Taeyeon despite of how busy they are with their respective works and business.
“Hey Fany. Use my car. I’ll go with Yuri” Sooyoung tosses her car key
“Where are you going?” Taeyeon ask them
“We’ll go to Sunny. She just bought a PS5. So we’ll play and have drinks”
“Yah! Why didn’t you tell me about that. I want to play too” Taeyeon whine
Sunny steps forward and pat her on the shoulder
“Next time Taeng. It’s important for you and Tiffany to sit down and talk tonight” Taeyeon just unwillingly nodded her head because she is really nervous to what she will discover.
After talking to Taeyeon, Sunny then proceed to Tiffany
“Tiff, remember don’t force her, okay. In case something happen that you don’t know what to do, just call us anytime. Goodluck Tiff”
Like a mother Sunny remind them. In their gang, Sunny is considered to be the Mother of the group because of her maturity in handling situations
”Thanks Sunny. Don’t worry”
Tiffany drives back to Sooyoung’s apartment. Form time to time she will glance at Taeyeon who she don’t know weather she’s sleeping or not because the moment she starts the engine Taeyeon immediately close her eyes and she is holding on to the edge of her seat.
“Tae, are you okay?” Tiffany ask when she’s done parking the car
“Yes” a short reply from Taeyeon
Arriving at Sooyoung’s apartment, the two suddenly felt very nervous. It was like they are back to where they started before confessing.
“Do you want any drinks?”
“No thank you”
Tiffany sat down beside Taeyeon on the sofa thinking how she is going to start explaining everything.
“Say Fany-ah, what do you want to talk about?” Taeyeon doesn’t want the silence between them so she initiate to start their talk
“About what happened 5 years ago” Tiffany answer while looking at her checking if she will continue or not.
“Okay”
Tiffany grab her hand before she tell her about it.
“5 years ago. It was supposed to be a vacation. That’s the plan. That’s what I want. Dad promised me that I can go back after 2 weeks” Tiffany pause when she saw Taeyeon wrinkled her forehead “When we arrived home, suddenly dad came up to me , he got my passport, deleted everything on my phone. He even freeze all my bank accounts and cars. He locked me at home until I convince him that I will do everything he tells me to do and that is to forget about you”
“He really went that far. He really doesn’t want us to be together Fany-ah”
“I don’t care about what her wants. I don’t if he will not approve us. I just care about you, us. I want us back,Taeyeon-ah”
Taeyeon still doesn’t show much emotion while listening to TIffany. It’s like she’s processing everything bit by bit
“How come it took you 5 years?”
“Because I needed to work, to earn more coz I know he will continue to make my life suffer and also I just got my passport recently”
“What about your fiancee?” Taeyeon grimace upon recalling that day Nickhun appears in front of them
“It was my dad and stepmom’s idea. He knew that Nickhun like me since we were a kids. But I never like him and I will never like him. That day, the phone call” Tiffany says that makes Taeyeon lower her head remembering that night
“Tae, I know it was you. When I hear a crying person, I know that instant that it was you and that I was time for me to go home. To go home to you. It was only a week since the engagement happens but you saved me,us that day. If it wasn’t for that call, I will never be here again” Tiffany tears up when she remember how hard it was for her not seeing the person that she loves the most and the person that she is pretending to forget when she is in front of her family
“But why didn’t you tell me about that? I can help you out of that misery. Don’t you know how much I hated Sooyoung when I accidentally saw your messages” Taeyeon says with a cold tone and Tiffany is getting more nervous that Taeyeon might be having an attack any moment
“I don’t want you to get involve with my problem. There is a plan that Michelle and I are executing and I thought if you know about that you will fly to LA just to get me out of it. That will make it more difficult for me to finish the plan. It was very painfully for especially for you but I did what I thought was the best for us”
Tiffany temporary stops trying to calm herself and trying to check what was Taeyeon’s thinking at the moment
“Tae, I know you were hurt by what I did, but Sooyoung has nothing to do with it. I beg her not to tell you. Believe me, she and I fought because she says she doesn’t want to hide anything from you. I’m sorry Taeyeon-ah. I’m sorry for hurting you to this extent” Tiffany can’t control her tears anymore. She stared sobbing so hard.
Taeyeon doesn’t know what she was feeling at the moment there is a lot running through her mind but one thing is certain for her, she really love Tiffany despite of what she did to her.
Seeing Tiffany cry beside her makes her feel bad for her too. She’s been through a lot too and she is hurt just like her.
“Don’t cry, Fany-ah. I forgive you” Taeyeon cooed her
“Taetae” Tiffany sob more. She didn’t know that Taeyeon will forgive her that easy.
Taeyeon securely wrap her arms around Tiffany’s trembling body “It’s okay. Stop crying. I am here now. You’re going to be okay. We will be okay”
Tiffany look up to face her”Thank you. Thank you so much for waiting for me”
“That phone call. That should be the last time. I am going to let you go after that night. I want to move on coz it hurts but then you appear right on time”
“I love you so much. I love you more than you anyone else. I don’t care about anything as long as I am with you”
“I just hope that we can finally be happy now. I don’t want to be away from you anymore. I don’t think I can take another heartbreak” Taeyeon confess
“I don’t want to make any promise I just want to keep my promise to you 5 years ago. I want to fulfill all that. I love you,Boo” Taeyeon and Tiffany look at each other on the eyes
“I love you too,Fany-ah. Thank you for coming back into my life”
The two shared a kiss. A kiss that is not rush and hard. It was a soft kiss, a key to open a new chapter in their life.
In need of air they pull out with forehead still connected. Taeyeon was about to lean in again for another kiss but Tiffany suddenly speaks up.
“Tae, what about you? What happened to you?” Taeyeon suddenly stand up upon hearing that. She is not yet ready to talk about it.
Tiffany panicked about seeing the sudden change of behaviour of Taeyeon thinking that she might trigger her “You don’t have to answer if you’re not yet ready to tell me. It’s okay. I can wait”
Tiffany cupped her face and they share another kiss. This time it was passionate kiss the neither one of them wants to stop it.
Taeyeon pulls out “We should sleep. I still needs to wake up early to open the cafe”
Tiffany bit her lower lip and just nodded. She held Taeyeon’s hand as she walks her to the guest room that she’s staying at.
“Boo, do you want to change your clothes?” Tiffany ask while on the bathroom
“I don’t have any clothes here” Taeyeon replies
All her friends have her clothes  at their house whenever Taeyeon will stay with one of them when she’s drunk.
When Tiffany went out of the bathroom, she tosses a pair of pink pajama to Taeyeon.
“Don’t you have anything aside from this pink pj’s?”
“I haven’t do my laundry yet. But I have blue nighties. You choose” Tiffany laugh when she saw how Taeyeon pouted as she lay down on the bed.
Taeyeon is forced to wear the pink one. She walks out of the bathroom with a disgusted look wearing a pink pajama that she hated
“Don’t you dare laugh at me” She warns her when she saw that see is about to burst into laughter
“Okay. Okay. I won’t laugh. Come here, lay beside me”
Taeyeon switch on the lights before heading to the bed. Tiffany snuggle to her the moment she lay down beside her.
“Tae, I miss us like this. I miss hugging you before going to sleep”
“Me too. I miss having you here”
They stayed quiet for a while trying to feel each others warmth
“Fany-ah?”
“Uh-huh?”
“Can I kiss you again?” Taeyeon shyly ask her that made the other girl laugh
“Why are shy? You can do whatever you want “
Taeyeon then kiss her hard on the lips. Tiffany was stunned by her sudden action that I took her few seconds before she could response to her kisses.
Their kisses are getting out of control. The way Taeyeon is kissing her is telling her something that she don’t understand.
Taeyeon they went on to kiss her on the neck that makes her move her head the other side to give her more access
“Boo, don’t leave any mark there please” Tiffany told her because she knows that the girls will see it and she doesn’t have any intention of answering their questions
Taeyeon listen to her and move to nibble her earlobes that makes a soft moan escape from her.
“Gosh. Taeyeon” Tiffany didn’t know if it was a moan or she’s just panicking when Taeyeon suddenly cupped her breast
Taeyeon pulls down the strap of her nighties. Tiffany is shocked by how Taeyeon is behaving. In their 5 years of being together they never reach the stage of touching each other. But Tiffany cannot deny that she’s liking what Taeyeon is doing to her.
“Ahhh. Taetae” Tiffany moan louder the moment Taeyeon suck her front like an infant
Taeyeon is like a girl on a mission that night and Tiffany just cannot think straight anymore.
“Tae” Tiffany calls her but it seems that she can’t hear her or she just thought that Tiffany is just moaning her name
“Taeyeon-ah” she calls her again and finally Taeyeon stops to look at her
“Did I hurt you? I’m sorry” Taeyeon worried sits up
“No, I’m okay. But are you really sure about this. You know we never went this far before”
“I want you now. You are mine. Only mine. No can have you except me. I love you so much, Fany-ah”
“I love you too”
Tiffany is not sure if it was the right time for them to do it but seeing Taeyeon like that convince her it was time.
Tiffany kneel in front of her and took off the her remaining clothes. She’s naked in front of the person that she love.
Taeyeon did the same and quickly took of her pink pajama
“I should have not wear this at first”
“Lock the door Taeyeon” Taeyeon jumps out of the bed to securely lock the door because she doesn’t want Sooyoung to walks in to them in the morning.
Taeyeon run back to the bed and hungrily kiss Tiffany kiss while on top of her. Her hand is roaming around Tiffany’s body. And it went down that makes Tiffany jerk.
“Fuck!” Tiffany accidentally curse as Taeyeon continues to kissing her down there that makes her moan louder.
“Tae just to it. Please”
“Are you sure, Fany-ah?”
“Yes. Just go in slowly. It’s my first” Tiffany needs to tell her that.
Taeyeon is happy to hear that she is the first one to do it with her “Mine too. Just tell me if it hurts”
That night marks another chapter in their relationship hoping that they can finally have their happiness back again without worrying about anything anymore.
It was a long night for them. Tiffany set aside her troubling thoughts and let herself surrender to Taeyeon’s touch and kisses.
