Few days have passed , Tiffany still goes to Taeyeon’s cafe to help her out. She is now capable of making the drinks by herself when she forces Taeyeon to teach her how.
The other girls will also help her out at the cafe whenever they have a free time. They too enjoyed making drinks as their way to relieved their stress from their own respective works.
Yuri and Sunny are both helping at the same time. They saw how Taeyeon and Tiffany acts around each other, they are like acting as if they just met and didn’t  know one another that much.
They saw how Taeyeon treated Tiffany not how she used to be before. It’s like she build a wall around Tiffany to protect herself.
While on the other hand, Tiffany is still the same towards her but clearly she is hurt by how Taeyeon treated her. They know how much Tiffany wanted to make their relationship work again.
The gang is aware that Tiffany is chasing after Taeyeon, but as what they can see now, Taeyeon is chasing Tiffany away from her.
“Yul, I kinda feel bad with  the two of them” Sunny started while they are looking at the two who are both working at the counter
“Me too. I think all of us feels that way. It is very clear that they are both hurting. But I can’t blame Taeyeon either. She’s been through hell. It wasn’t that easy for her to stand up again”
“Same goes with Tiffany. That girl is hurting too. But she’s been smiling whenever she’s with us. Just like how Taeyeon masked her pain with a smile. Tiffany is in a tough spot, choosing between her family and Taeyeon”
“If she choose her family, she will lose Taeyeon and she knows that Taeyeon will never get  over that. But if she choose Taeyeon, she loses everything and her family” Yuri sadly speaks the truth. They can’t help them anymore. Only the two of them can save and help each other.
“Why is life so unfair to them” Suuny ask and Yuri could only sigh and went back to clean the tables
At the counter Tiffany and Taeyeon are both standing not far from each. They are both staring outside with a lot going through their minds. A lot of questions they wanted to ask but doesn’t have the courage to speak.
“Tiffany” Taeyeon calls her
“Hmm?”
“You’ve been here fot almost a month. Aren’t you going back to LA?”Tiffany sigh hearing those from Taeyeon
Her dad has been calling her day and night yelling at her to go home. Unfortunately her weeding hasn’t been cancelled. They just move the date ans she knows when she step her feet in LA, she will never be able to come back to where here hearts belongs to.
Tiffany face her “Do you want me to go?”
“I am just asking so that I can find your replacement here”
The way Taeyeon said those words to her, it almost sends her chills. It was cold, no feelings what so ever that stabbed her heart again and again.
Tiffany cannot answer her back when her emotion took over her. She went to the kitchen to cry alone and calm her self.
Yuri and SUnny saw what happened and they go to Taeyeon to confront her
“Kim Taeyeon what did you do to her?” Sunny angrily ask her that makes her look away
”Nothing. I am just asking her nicely. I didn’t do anything to her” Taeyeon defend herself
“What did you even ask her?”
“I asked her when is she going back to LA. Is there anything wrong about that?” Sunny and Yuri wants to smack her in the head
“Taeng, can’t you see she’s not going back. She’s staying here. She’s staying for you”
“Then what? When everything’s okay I know she will leave me again. I don’t wanna hold on to something that isn’t going to work and last. You know how tired I am already” Taeyeon replies back with loneliness and hurt.
“Is that the reason why you’re pushing her away?”
“Yes”
“You want her out of your life without even letting her explain her side of the story. Just tell us, do you really doesn’t want to know what happened to her during those 5 years?” Sunny carefully ask her
Taeyeon sat down on the floor like her knees felt numb hugging herself when she is reminded again of that tragic day in her life.
“Sunny, there is no need for her to explain. I saw it with my own eyes. And she doesn’t need to know my side of story too. I wanted to forget that. I don’t want her to stay with me just because she pity me. I wanna be alone”
“But you have to know that once she leave and go home, she will never be able to go back to you. You have to think about this before you make a decision that you will forever regret”
Yuri and Sunny just her hug because that is all what they can do for her.
“Fany! How long have you been standing there?” Yuri ask in panic. She doesn’t want Tiffany to misunderstand Taeyeon
“Is that what you really want? You want me to go? You won’t let me explain? You will not tell me what happened to you?” Tiffany ask with tears already falling from her eyes
“.…….”
“Tae, do you really want me to go? Because if that is what will you happy then I will do it” Tiffany ask but she’s hoping that she will ask her to stay
“Tiffany don’t listen to her. She’s just tired and confused” Yuri tries to convince both sides but Tiffany just smile at them and wipe her tears before running out of the cafe with her bag.
Sunny and Yuri tries to stop her but they decided to let her alone hoping that she will not do something that will hurt her even more.
Thankfully there are no customer that time or else they don’t know how to handle the situation
“Can you please close the cafe for me?” Taeyeon says while standing up
“Where are you going?” Sunny worriedly ask her
“I miss my mom”
Tiffany return to Sooyoung’s apartment with bags full of beer. The only thing that she know that can help her. She just wanted to find peace and happiness with those beers. Her heart can’t take anymore pain and she’s like breaking down any moment.
“Why can’t I be happy!” Tiffany ask no one as she finishes her 5th beer. She chuckled bitterly knowing that she will never have the answer to that
‘Dad, why can’t you just let me go. Just set me free already. Please don’t make me suffer anymore” She continue talking to herself with tear flowing in to her eyes like a falls

A 12 hours of long flight, that is how long Tiffany waited until they finally landed to her hometown.
An hour drive from the airport to their house is how long Tiffany waited until she can finally call her girlfriend.
And just 1 minute for her life to change forever.
The moment they arrived at their house, Tiffany is welcomed by her stepmother that she didn’t really like for her dad. She’s a manipulator.
Tiffany went straight to her room to call Taeyeon but before she can even press the call button, her dad snatched her phone away from her. He deleted all her contacts, he deleted all her photos saved in her gallery and he even break her sim card in to two. He even got her passport.
“Dad, what are you doing?” Tiffany ask her while trying to pick up her sim card with a shaking hands
“From now on you will not be keeping in touch with anyone in Korea. Not even that girl. I told you before to stay away from her but you never listened to me. You forced me to do this. You left me with no choice,Stephanie. You will not be going out of this house unless you are with your mom. You will not be going back to Korea ever again. Hear me? Never”
Tiffany grab her dad’s shirt begging him not to do that but her dad just pushes her away
“Dad, please don’t do this to me. I love Taeyeon. And Korea is where I belong now”
Mr.Hwang didn’t gave her a chance to. His decision is final and Tiffany doesn’t know what to do anymore.
Tiffany locked herself in her room. She’s not even allowed to go outside alone unless she promise her dad that she will not be going back to Taeyeon and that is going to stay in LA for goods.
It was a very hard decision for her because she knows that Taeyeon will wait for her until she comes back to her and fulfill her promise.
3 days that Tiffany didn’t eat or drink. Her dad is worried about her but her stepmom just told him that she’s just only doing that to make him change his mind. Mr.Hwang listens to her wife.
Michelle her older sister storms into their house the moment she heard about what happened to her sister. She and her dad had a fight that day but in the end her dad favors their stepmother that makes her even mad to her own father.
“Steph, you have to be strong. Don’t let them see you like this. They will just treat you like a puppy if you will keep going like this”
“Help me,Michelle. Please let me out of this house. This is not a home anymore. It is a prison and I am a prisoner. I wanna be with Taeyeon. I love her. But why can’t they allow me to love her. Is it wrong that I love a girl?”
“No it wasn’t. You can love who ever you want to love. Love has not boundaries and no gender. You cannot force yourself to love someone. And your heart knows who it beats for. You love Taeyeon because in her you find security,sincerity and serendipity. With her you found your true happiness so it wasn’t wrong for you to love someone with the same gender. It’s a pity that dad is listening to that witch that he can’t see what you want”
Michelle hug her crying sister “Just agree with them for now. Don’t argue anymore. Follow what they want and when you see an opportunity that is when you escape”
That day Tiffany decided to go with the flow with high hopes that when the time comes, she and Taeyeon could be together again.
Tiffany started working with the Hwang Corporation as the general manager. She pour all her attention and time working to have her own money that she will used when she sees an opportunity to escape her dad.
During a conference in LA, her dad forces her to attend and there she met Sooyoung for the first time after 3 years of not having any communication with all of them.
Tiffany told Sooyoung about everything and she also beg her not to tell Taeyeon about meeting her. She knows Taeyeon very well and she is afraid that Taeyeon might ruin her escape plan. So even if it is hard for Tiffany she needs to endure it for them.
It took her 5 years to finally be able to get a hold of her passport. Her dad has no other choice but to give it to her when she needs to represent their company outside of LA.
When her 7 days conference ended her dad informed her to go straight at home. The moment she enter their home she saw her stepmom’s bestfriend family inside with their son who see just met several times.
Mr.Hwang informed her that they already arranged their engagement and Nickhun places a diamond ring on her finger or rather forces her to put that.
Tiffany kept on yelling at her dad. She doesn’t care what the other family will think of her. She just wanted to tell all of them that she will not agree to that engagement.
All that she could think at the moment is Taeyeon and her promises to her. The person who is supposed to be the one to put a ring on her finger.
The night after, Tiffany calls her friend Sooyoung to tell her that she is coming back. Her plan is to leave in a month to settle all her works at the company but it all changes with a phone call. A phone call that makes her fly back to korea that same day.
A phone call that helps her escape from her reality.
“Oh my god. What did just happened in here?” Sooyoung comes home with her apartment wrecked of alcohol.
Sooyoung walks in to the living where she saw cans of beers scattered everywhere. Her eyes met with a wasted Tiffany who is also a crying mess
Tiffany look up to her with a sad eyes “You’re home. I’m sorry for the mess. I’ll clean up later. Want to join me?”
“Hey what’s wrong? Are you okay?” Sooyoung sat down beside her and Tiffany instantly rested her head on her friends shoulder
“Soo, what did I do wrong to be like this? Is it wrong for me to be happy without hurting somebody else?” TIffany ask heras her sobbing becomes so hard for Sooyoung to see
Sooyoung doesn’t know how to answer her insted she just hug her trying to think of how she can help her.
Sooyoung brought her to the guest room where she is staying. She can’t help but feel sorry for her who just wanted to be free and be happy.
Sooyoung grab her phone and went to their group chat that Tiffany and Taeyeon are not aware of.
Sooyoung: Guys, did anyone met Tiffany today?
Hyoyeon: I didn’t saw her today
Yuri: Did something happened to her?
Sooyoung: I went home to a very drunk Tiffany who’s been crying so hard. She is like she’s lost or something
Sunny: Soo, please stay with her. Taeyeon said something to her at the cafe
Sooyoung: What did she tell her?
Yuri: She told her to leave
Sooyoung can only sigh in response. But what she can’t understand is why would Taeyeon tell her that when she just literally beg her to hear Tiffany’s voice
Sooyoung: I think we should tell Taeyeon everything. I don’t care if they will hate me forever but I can’t stand seeing them hurting each other. We need to do something before it’s too late
Yoona: Do you think it will make a difference if we tell them the truth?
Sooyoung: I hope so. But it is better to gamble with a little hope than to see them fell apart
Sunny: I hope it will really help them before it’s too late
Seohyun: Let’s just hope for the best. To be honest I don’t feel good about this
Yoona: Don’t forget it’s almost near. 3 weeks guys
Sooyoung closes her phone then look at TIffany one last time before she switch off the lights and let her sleep hoping that she will feel okay when she woke up.
The next day Tiffany didn’t come at the cafe. It was Seohyun and Yoona’s turn to help Taeyeon.
Whenever the door will open, Taeyeon will immediately checks the door like she’s waiting for someone to comes in
“Unnie, she’s not coming” Yoona reminded her that makes her focus cleaning some tables
“I am not waiting for anyone”
Yoona and Seohyun can only shake their heads on how stubborn Taeyeon was
“You can just admit that you miss her and that you don’t want her to go. No one’s stopping you, Unnie” Seohyun nonchalantly tells her before walking away
Taeyeon left the two to go to her office trying to think weather she’s missing her or not. The more she thinks of her, is the more the nightmare of yesterday hunts her.
She knows deep inside that she miss Tiffany more than anything. She’s sad and mad at herself for doing that to her. But it was the only way for them to stop being hurt
Taeyeon opens her drawer and took out a small box. She is staring at it. Ever since she bought that, she never open it again since that day.
Inside her drawer she pick up a photo. A photo of her everything. A photo that she treasures and the only one that is left with her.
“Mom,dad, oppa, hayeon-ah, I miss you so much. I want to see you all again” Taeyeon is talking to that photo whenever she is lost.
She let herself cry holding that photo.
Yoona and Seohyun can hear her. All that they can do is wipe their own tears and pretend that they didn’t hear it again. It was almost time and they know it was hard for Taeyeon.
