Chapter 4. Already Changed

It was a sunny morning, the figure of an old woman sitting on an empty bench in the park. She misses the memories with her children and even more so with her husband, she is still the same as she used to be, it's just that one paper can make her turn into another woman and be very different.
Slowly he wiped his tears. He was confused for whom these tears? If it's just for regret, isn't it pointless? Or for everything he did to Salsa? Or because of the proof of her love for her husband who instead chose another woman, then what was the point of living under the same roof for fifteen years? What if there was a farewell? Is there no love left in her husband's heart for her? Hah?! Isn't that funny? She still hopes that her husband will look back and come back to her. But the rice has turned into porridge, right? Let it be porridge, isn't porridge important for the sick? We can process the taste so that the porridge tastes better, I don't know.
Suddenly he missed the memories of eight years ago. He seemed to see everything clearly.
Aditya who was twelve years old, followed by Sabila and Salsa who ran home, then later they cried because they saw the fight between their papa and mama. Aditya who was suddenly pulled by his father, followed by Salsa who was also pulled by his father to get into the car. Sabila who ran hugged their mother's weak body. He also cried because his brother was also taken away by his father. Honestly, he missed his friend. His friend would always come and knock on his bedroom window on Sundays.
Flash back
The figure of athletic stature was standing there. Just covered Kania's bedroom window. If only he could, Kania wanted to ask him to step aside at least for a moment so that he could see the beauty of Sunday morning, this time.
"Nia, come on out, you can't just spend time with books, can you?"
He didn't ask for much, just a chance to talk and spend Sunday with Kania. Last week Kania refused just because she had to study in order to keep getting her scholarship. According to him, Kania is a smart girl, even if she doesn't study her grades will not go down.
"Now? I can't, you know, Muhammad Farhan? I have to study."
Look at his efforts to wait for about an hour to be in vain, but not Farhan if he doesn't get what he wants. He will definitely bring Kania this time. Then told the whole world that he managed to take this nerd out of his world for a while.
"Okay, go ahead Kania, please continue, but I will never leave this place until you come out and agree to spend this Sunday with me. Don't you believe in your best friend, Nia?"
The figure behind the window raised an eyebrow slightly, surprised by his friend. Kania also didn't have the heart to see her best friend hot outside her bedroom window.
"Okay, this time you win, Muhammad Farhan. You just wait in my yard, I'll be there soon," Nia said as she closed the book she had finished reading.
"Very well, my princess."
Ahh, Farhan is like a big brother to Kania. Athletic body, handsome face, plus he is the son of a rich man. Kania is very grateful because the Most Merciful gave a friend as good as Farhan, who was always there when he was down, defended him when he was insulted by students and students on campus. Farhan is perfect in the eyes of many girls, but in Kania's eyes? He was just a child who would never grow up.
"When are you going to change? But rest assured I really like it when you are like this. Waiting for me to come out of my world and then mesmerizing me with the beauty of nature which is very eye-catching, truly the One Above is a very great creator,” Kania thought, as she stepped out of her room.
Flashback off
"Mama? Why are you here so early? If you want to say goodbye, here." Sabila suddenly sat next to Mamah.
"Mom just wants to get some fresh air. Don't you guys have a schedule for campus today?"
"Eh, so and so, Salsa wants to go to Papah's house," said Sabila quietly.
The woman sighed softly, "Let Salsa go there, you don't have to."
"But-"
"Once Mama says no, it means no," he said, then left Sabila in annoyance.
"Why the hell, eh?! Why? Only Salsa can meet Papa, if you want too, Mah!” Sabila thought, then left in her car.
"Sa, I can't take you to meet Papa, I'm sorry."
Salsa nodded, "It's okay."
Sabila started the car again. "Are you sure you can do it yourself? You'll just take a taxi, okay?"
Sabila reached for her bag and looked for her small purse, "Here's the taxi fare."
"Thank you, Sis. Where are you going?"
"None of your business." Then with the speed of Sabila's car left Salsa with curiosity.
Slowly he walked, looking for a taxi that passed with no passengers. It turned out that almost all the taxis were full. The only way is to wait at the busway stop, he will take the bus.
"Mom, can I buy the ticket?"
"To where to go?"
"Surabaya," said Salsa.
"The bus will come this afternoon, if you want please buy the ticket first. If you are late this afternoon, the ticket can still be used for the next departure."
"Okay ma'am, I'll order 1."
"If you want, take 2. If you don't want it, forget about Surabaya."
"Okay ma'am, I'll take 2."
"Well then, the total is 500,000 thousand rupiah."
"Very expensive, but for Papah's sake I will go," thought Salsa.
"Here, ma'am."
"Thank you."
"Yes."
Unexpectedly, the price of bus tickets has now started to rise. Last month the price was still 200,000/per ticket. Now it's gone up to 250,000/per ticket.
"Boom!"
"Oh my god."
"Sorry, you're the girl I almost ran into yesterday, right? What are you doing here? How's your knee? Are you feeling better?"
"Haha yes, thank God I'm getting better. I'm going to Surabaya."
"Surabaya? It's the same, but I don't think I can go now, the tickets are sold out."
Salsa smiled slightly, "You can use the tickets I have, I just happened to buy 2 tickets."
The man looked at him in disbelief, "That's right, thank you. I'll be old-"
"No, I'm sincere."
"Thank you. Oh yeah... We haven't met, what's your name?"
"Salsabila, your name?"
"Rendy Saputra, you can call me Rendy or Putra. As comfortable as you are," Rendy explained with a smile.
"Hi, Rendy, nice to meet you. Btw, where did you study?"
"Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), you?"
"Same! How come we never met, which faculty are you in?"
"Oh yeah? I'm in medical school. You?"
"Really? Could it be you-"
"Yes, I'm the Governor of BEM Faculty of Medicine, you?" he explained.
"I'm also a medical major, but I don't-"
"Yes, I did not get permission for a few days, and was replaced by the Deputy Governor of BEM."
Salsa shakes. "Your hobby huh? Cut me off?"
Rendy was a little surprised, "Hahahaha, sorry."
"Don't worry."
"New student huh?"
"Yes."
"Oh no wonder I don't know," Rendy whispered softly.
"Are you really waiting for the bus to arrive? Even though you yourself know the bus is coming this afternoon."
"Em ... I think so," said Salsa doubtfully.
"How about we go for a walk?"
Salsa slightly raised her eyebrows, "Yes! Come on!" he answered a little shouting.
Rendy took Salsa to a park not far from the bus stop. There were many children playing with great joy and laughter.
"I envy them," said Salsa suddenly making Rendy curious.
"You mean? You want to be a kid again?"
Salsa shook her head quickly, "No, I just envy them. Because when I was their age I had to move around, one week in Jakarta, one week in Surabaya."
"It's good, you can go for a walk."
"Yeah, maybe it's good because I'm going for a walk, but I don't think so. I actually suffered with all of it. I was like a doll that was toyed with until now. My parents divorced when I was about 10 years old, time flies so fast it turns out, bitter memories of 8 years ago then."
8 years flashback
"Pah, where are you going to take Salsa and Sis Adit?"
"Yes! You and Adit are with Papa. Do you understand?" snapped the man who already has three children.
"How about it?"
"Forget Sabila! Forget Mamah! And forget everything about them. Got it?!"
"If you don't understand!"
Aditya, who had been sitting quietly, was suddenly surprised because the one sitting beside him was not Salsa but Sabila. The man suddenly stopped the car very suddenly, making Sabila slightly bounce forward.
"Go out!"
"No, Papa! No! I want to come with Papa!"
With anger, the man called Papah of three children, violently opened the back door of the car. Then he grabbed Sabila's hand roughly, dragging her back to the old house where she had been living for the last fifteen years.
Taking myself who still didn't understand anything, my elementary school uniform was stained with the blood of my mother who tried to commit suicide, but God didn't allow it.
Flashback off
Suddenly Salsa stopped talking, her eyes clouded, she gave 2 tickets to Rendy.
"I'm not going to see Papa, just get it for you. I don't need that ticket anymore." Salsa ran after the angkot. I don't know, Salsa has a hunch that something is wrong, maybe it's just a hunch, but she's really afraid that something will happen to Sabila.
