"I arrived safely, Papa.' I said while tapping the screen of my phone. I'm composing a text message to send on him, so that he will know that I arrived safely.
Tiningnan ko ang every corner ng pamamahay na titirhan ko pansamantala. Yes, I won't live here for too long. Maybe half a year and I'll go back in Rome, Italy. I'm just here to handle the case of my brother. I can't afford just to sit here and wait for the updates of high authority about this case upon thinking that my brother is suffering at the moment in the hands of who-ever-that-person was. They will surely not gonna like it when I start moving myself.
According to the report that Papa had given to me, it's said that Mavis went missing for almost a week and yet they could'nt still find out whose behind of this crime. Yes, for me this is kidnapping eventhough they are'nt sure yet.
No possible traces that may lead to the abductor. Id*ots, ofcourse paano magkakaroon nang traces kung hindi siya mismo kinuha sa kaniyang condominium. D*mn investigation! Lutang ba sila for some reason? That's cr*p!
'Tahaji Kuraisamu, what a day you have here. Does pretending to be my brother is'nt tiring? You see, making up things just to cover his whereabouts or whatever happens, that's absurd." I plainly said.
Papa's personal assistant just answered me with his simple yet irritating laugh. I never like the way how he acts towards everyone, plainly stupid.
"C'mon, Young lady. Your father ordered me to do that, why you give me that look. That's not my fault if you were dumb." The he said those words makes my blood boiled so really hard. This fcker if he was'nt just my father's personel, I already dumped her years-ago.
I sighed, "Listen up, we ned to find my brother ASAP."
"The authority already doing---"
"I want to do it PERSONALLY. I hate to say this but , the audacity of them handling this case where they can't even figure out how he was abducted."
That's right.
Handling this case personally is very risky but whatever danger awaits me, so be it. As long as I could find and get my brother. It's either by hook or by crook.
ANOTHER day had passed and yet there's still no update from the authority. Papa and I talked about Mavis' case yesterday morning and I told him about the plans.
Naghahanap lang ako ng tamang araw para kusang gumalaw. I'm giving them a chance to find my brother but unfortunately they're not good as what my father thought they would.
I scanned the white folder that I've been holding since I woke up. It cotains the list of people who got the chance to interact with my brother a week before the abduction had happened.
There are 50+ names written in the list and most of them came from a wealthy family, owns a different types of business in all over the world.
"Next time learn how to knock." I said as heard his footstep.
I found out yesterday night that Tahaji Kuraisamu will help me handle the case if ever I make a move. Meaning we'll be staying in only one rooftop which makes me irritate even moe.
"I've got a news."Something rings a bell. I narrowed my eyes on him.
"Let's start from Kairos Mardoni. His family owns the well-know hotel&restaurant near the law firm where your brother works and according to the person that I talked--Madeline Felipe. They always see each other and seems like they have some deeper connections unlike the others. If you're doubting, Madeline Felipe is your brother's partner since 4 years, not by work but she's his girlfriend near from being his fiance."
I was just listening to him the whole time while taking notes each and every single words that he said. Two names from the list were included in one statement, both person came from the pwerful family in Canada.
"Do you know where they live." It didn't came up as a question. It's a statement.
knowing Kuraisamu, he woul firstly get everything done , from names,places,connections and alliances of the people that he needed to find and that's what more I like about him,not romantically.
"Prepare yourself, we'll start visiting them."
My fist automatically landed on his face. D$mn! Ang tagal niya kaming pinag-antay sa labas tapos malalaman namin na may ginagawa pala siyang kababalaghan sa condo niya.
"What the f$ck is your problem,b*tch!?"Based on the look that he's throwing, pissed off were all written on his ugly face.
I rolled my eyes. T*anga ba 'to or what?sorry hindi ko kasalanan kung ang bagal niyang kumilos/
"Whoaa.. calm down, Kairo. This young lady is your bestfriend's younger sister."That's Tahaji Kuraisamu.
The other guy glared at him before letting us inside his place. Son of a b*tch, I could still smell the after sex.
Everything in here shout richness and if I'm just some of ordinary people then maybe I would be amaze by the sight but sadly, I'm no ordinary.
He sat on the sofa infront of us. Kuraisamu and I were sitting in the same sofa while he--on the other han is sitting like a boss.
"So you're Gizem Calypso huh. What a brave woman. Throwing that kind of punch on my face, telling me that you're kinda wild hmm." He said while eyeing my wholeness.
In my mind I already tortured him. Kuraisamu is enough to ruin my day 'wag na siyang dumagdag.
The man beside me cleared his throat and place something on the table that serves as a gap between the three of us. Picture od Mardoni and my brother.
"We have names of the person who had interacted with Mavis and you're the first person on the list. It's stated that both of you have some deeper connections, you two are bestfriend that's why?"Kuraisamu asked which makes him nodded.
"His law firm were just near our hotel & restaurant that's why we see each other occasionally, but this past few days hindi na kami nagkakausap personaally or sa tawag---"
"Because he's missing."
