CHAPTER 2;
*Young Medici*
As the sunlight kissed my cheeks, I instantly woke up. Another morning to start my day and eventually to do some boring things.
Bumangon ako mula sa pagkakahiga atsaka tinungo ang banyo. My rooom is three-times bigger than the usual room of high class people at kumpleto na ang mga gamit dito. I do have my own mini kitchen as well incase na gutumin ako, which is parati naman but who cares, I do love to eat ey so whatever.
After doing my morning routines , I brought myself out from my room and went to the nearest area of our mansion--living room.
"Good morning,Young lady."
Agad na napatigil ako sa paglalakad at napataas ang kilay nang marinig ang hindi pamilyar na boses na iyon.
A guy with his formal suit is now standing 3inches away from me at may bitbit ito na attache case na hindi ko mawari kung ano ang laman pero base sa tindig ng lalaki ay hindi iyon bastang-basta lamang.
"Buon Giorno, have a seat please." Seryosong saad ko dito. Hindi ko siya kilala ngunit ang kaniyang mukha ay parang may kahawig ngunit hindi ko mawari kung sino. (GOODMORNING)
tUmikhim ito, "Mi chiamo, Alexander Kuraisuma. It's nice to finally meet you, Young lady."
(translation: My name is Alexander Kuraisamu. It's finally nice to meet you, Young lady.")
I just nodded and motioned my hands as if saying, anong-sadya-mo-gesture.
Inilapag nito ang dalang attache case bago binuksan at may kunuhang dalawang kulay pula at dilaw na tila portfolio. Inabot nito sa akin at agad ko din na kinuha.
"What's this?"
"Those things are consist of your father's company details in the Philippines. I was told to give it on you and ofcourse you need to read them ASAP, also don't forget to finalize the company taxes." Paliwanag nito.
Tumango lang ako kahit na kabaliktaran nang expectation niya ang iniisip ko. Wala talaga akong balak na hawakan ang kompanya sa pilipinas.
My dad eventually knows about it already but he just keep silent the whole time pero alam na niya ang takbo ng utak ko, I'm his child after all and managing his company is just a part of my cover up.
I'm hungry amp.
TWO DAYS from now ay lilipad na ako papuntang pinas--not literally, syempre sasakay ako ng eroplano duhh. So anyway, my flight will be on Wednesday at 5:00am in the morning kaya dapat mag-enjoy pa ako lalo bago umalis, I will miss my place, surely.
I hised habang bored na tinitignan ang dalawang folder na nakabukas, nireview ko ang mga ito ULIT dahil kahapon binasa ko na pero wala pa din akong maintindihan just the f*ck diba, tsk.
*Third-Person POV*
As she done packing her thigs, she take a last look of herself in the full-size mirror that placed besider her bed. Still the same woman that she saw 5-years ago before her brother--Mavis had parted his way from them. She's still minor back then while her brother was already on his legal age. Twenty-one years old, freshly graduated in college and decided to live on his own.
" I promised. I'll findi you, brother."
Maraming connection ang pamilya Medici kaya imposibleng hindi nila agad mahanap ang nawawalang kapatid, maliban na lamang kung malaking tao ang nasa likod nang pangyayari kaya nahihirapan ang mga awtoridad.
Sinalubong siya nang napakadaming bodyguards na naksuot ng itim na suit habang ang kaniyang ama't ina ay nasa gitna ng lahat.
She smiled and step forward to face them but instantly faded when she saw the most emotionless face that her father have been using in dealing with serious matters. Yeah, this one is very crutial.
"Give your full attention to me, Young lady." She secretly smile. That's how her father address her in a serious situation.
She stood straightly.Chest out.Heads up and both of her arms are on her side. If anyone from the other nation will see her, they will surely laugh because of the sudden traits that she had but it doesn't matter if everyone will mock her and address her as a clown because this traits is one of the finest way of being responsoble in the line of her blood.
"Call me or your mama right after you arrive in other nation. Open your phone 24/7 and don't forget to update us from time-to-time. Be safe always." Despite of the seriousness on he father's face and voice, alam niya sa sarili na kahit ganito ang ama ay puno nanng pag-alala ang nararamdaman nito para sa kaniya.
She nodded, "Noted, Senior."

Different noises reached my hearings right after I stepped my shoet out from the car that I'm riding. Alot of people seems to enjoy their life in a simple ways, most of them were chitchatting with each other while enjoying everyone's company.
I took off my things from the car's compartment. I just arrived from the NAIA airport and here I am, standing infront of bungalow style which I assumed that my grandfather is the owner.
"Magandang hapon, ija. Ikaw ba ang bagong titira sa mansion na iyan?" Someone asked. As I took a glance, maybe she's around 50+ I guessed.
I smiled and nodded, "My grandpa owns this house."
I don't know what should I address her because most of the time when people like her talk to me I always called them "manang" or "ale"
Pumalakpak naman ito at ngumiti na tila parang nanalo sa lotto. Mukhang masaya ata siya dahil may pagiling-giling pa ito na nalalaman.
She's weird. Really.
"Tama nga si dodong! Aba, bigtime nga ang ao ni Don Cleo at hindi maipagkakaila na isa ka nga talagang Medici, sa uri ng iyong pananalita at ayos ay gayang-gaya mo sila." She said while eyeing me from head to toe.
I shrugged. Hindi ko naman alam ang sasabihin ko sa kaniya kaya better to play safe than nothing. Mukhang kilala si grandpa sa luhar na ito, kung ganon ay hindi na ako mahihirapan na makipag-halubilo sa mga taong nandito.
Marami pa sanang sasabihin o ikukwento ang ginang na si Carlota ngunit hindi ko na inabala na pakinggan dahil nararamdaman ko na ang pananakit ng katawan at mga binti ko, mukhang naninibago ata dahil sa haba nang byahe kanina.
I do'nt have any bodyguards because that's what I wanted and thanfully, Papa granted my request. Mahirap kumilos nang marami ang nakabantay, mabuti na iyong tahimik at walang gulo.
