Chloe and Luke came out, as usual, every Saturday to go out jogging but this time Juliet was with them.
"I do miss the old days," she said breathing in the fresh air. This was her first time during this holiday. Schooling somewhere not too close to home can be boring sometimes. Despite always being at loggerheads with her brother, they always did things together. Well except for her crazy fun. At least, he doesn't stop her.
Chloe looked at Luke and was surprised that he and Juliet were glaring at each other as they were wearing the same color of clothes. white top and black pants. She just chuckled and cleared my throat.
"Okay listen to me brother. we're going to race up that stairs," Chloe said and he smirked.
"You know that you can't win, so why push it? I'll even give you a headstart," he said confidently.
"Fair enough. But you'll have to reach the finish line............ together with Juliet," she explained and they raised their heads and looked at her.
"You're not serious. How sure are you that Juliet can even run." he was saying when she shouted, "See you there!" and dashed up the stairs.
Juliet looked at Luke with a disapproving expression but before she could say anything he shouted, "You'd better run or you'll be sorry!" and followed.
What sort of guy is this?
She didn't take a second to think and went after them. Who wasn't competitive? She doesn't usually run but she jogs often. Chloe, I thought we came here to jog!  She started getting tired and stopped to breathe. Don't they get tired? Juliet, you can't give up. Especially against that rascal.
She looked back and saw that she didn't even run any far distance. Luke noticed her and asked ferociously, "What do you think you're doing?"
"Why should I follow your lead? I'm not afraid of you. I'm tired." she returned gasping for breath.
"What? I'm not going to lose this race because of you," he warned.
"Oh I see, why don't you go and leave me here."
"I'm a person who sticks to my word, will you keep running or not?"
"You're making such a great deal about these. Will you go and...." she was saying when he picked her up. Her eyes widened and  started struggling, "keep me down, you idiot ."
"Shut up and stop struggling," he said and started running up the stairs.
Chloe stayed at the side of the stairs and covered her face with a hood just to watch how her brother and Juliet will pass.
Unexpectedly to her greatest surprise, she saw her brother carrying Juliet in his arms. She smiled and waited for them to have the advantage and then followed. She watched them as they reached the top of the stairs.
Luke dropped Juliet and she was fuming with anger.  Chloe approached them and pretended that she was panting.
"Brother you were carrying Juliet you still reached here ahead of me." she breathed.
"Don't ever give me such a challenge like this again. Look at her she can't even run. How can someone this fat run." he brutally said.
Chloe gasped and looked at Juliet and her face was bewildered.
"Don't worry about what he said, Juliet. What made you say that brother, are you sick in the head?" she scolded but he smirked.
"It's okay Chloe. Don't worry." she held Chloe's shoulder and started walking down the stairs. Chloe frowned at her brother but he wasn't even touched. He's become meaner.
Chloe managed to get things out of Juliet's head as they exercised.
Juliet scoffed as she stretched her hands. How can that idiot say I'm fat? Someone with eyes like balls. Hmmph!
Once they were done, they walked together back home. Luke had his headphones as usual while Chloe dragged Juliet together with her.
"Chloe! !" A crisp voice sounded from the other side of the street.
Chloe turned around and smiled a short girl ran towards them with another man.
"Juju! Lu! It's you two!" Chloe said excitedly.
"You're back. We finally met." Juju embraced her.
"It's been a long time. How are you?" Chloe asked with her usual smile.
"Great. Great! " she said and glanced at Luke who was catching up with Lu.
"Chloe, your brother is still as cold as ever. I meet him every weekend but he doesn't even spare a glance at me. He pretends like he doesn't know me!" Juju said indignantly. Chloe had a wry smile. Who asked you to like my brother?
Juju finally looked at Juliet. "Who's she?"
Chloe grabbed Juliet's arm and introduced, "Juju, this is my new sister, Juliet. Juliet, my friend, Juju."
"Hi." Juliet nodded at Juju calmly.

"Your sister?" Juju asked curiously and Chloe nodded.
"She stays at your house?" she stammered but Chloe just bobbed her head. Juju glanced at Juliet with slight envy in her eyes. The latter was taller and more beautiful than her and she lives with Luke. She has all the advantages. She wanted to look at the sky and shout, why is this happening?
Luke walked over being dragged by Lu.
"Hi, Chloe. Nice seeing you again. Oh, a new face...." he smiled and looked at Juliet. "Is she?" He nudged Luke's shoulder.
"What are you implying?" Luke glared at him.
"Lu. She's our new sister, Juliet." Chloe said.
"Oh....sister. I see." Lu nodded and they shared a knowing smile.
"Luke, Hi." Juju waved timidly at Luke but he just moved Lu's arms from his shoulders and said, " Go on with your chatting. I have work to do." He turned and walked away.
"That idiot! Hmmph! " Juju stamped her feet angrily. This was blatant. "The only girl he speaks to is that sassy Susan!"
Chloe came beside her and grabbed her arm. "Juju, you know how my brother is. Just forget about him and stay with someone who cherishes you, okay?" She even hinted to Lu.
Juju pouted but Lu quickly approached her. "You should forget that stone face. Aren't I here to take care of you," he said gently.
Juju looked at the two of them and ran away.
"I'll go after her. Chloe. Nice meeting you again Juliet!" Lu waved at the two girls and ran after Juju.
Chloe rubbed her forehead and sighed, "They'll get over with it. Geeze, brother."
"He's always this rude to everyone?" Juliet inquired frowning.
"Not necessary. He just hates talking that's it." Chloe said quickly.
"Except for ......Susan?" Juliet said and they kept walking.
"That is just someone insignificant. Juju was angry, that's why. When did she see my brother chatting with Susan." Chloe replied. Juju, you and your big mouth.
"Oh." Juliet was indifferent as they went on.
