On a vacation, Chloe was resting on the sofa and having to drink, watching her brother, Luke doing nothing but staring at his phone. Not to say he's doing anything serious or chatting, he's playing games all day.
We need someone to get him away from that phone. Come to think that he doesn't have a girlfriend. Where will I find a match for my grumpy handsome brother? She thought.
"Good news kids! " Chloe had her father say.
Did my prayers just got answered?
"What's the news dad?" she asked curiously.
"Remember my friend Mr. Li, his daughter Juliet, is coming to stay with us. I think you just got a sister," he answered.
I think I just got myself a sister-in-law. Chloe thought.
"When is she coming dad?"
"She's on her way now from Shanghai. We just have to pick her up." Dad answered.
Chloe held dad's arm and dragged him away from Luke.
"Why don't you ask Luke to go pick her up?" she whispered cheekily.
"So you think she's going to be a good match for Luke?" Dad said and they laughed. Sync!
They walked back to Luke and dad told him to go pick Juliet up.
Immediately, he stood up and protested, "Why do I have to be the one to pick her up?"
"As we can all see, you are not busy. Chloe is going out now and I have work. So you have to go." Dad said seriously.
"But I'm....."
"No buts. You're going and that's final." Dad put on a stern look.
"Okay." Luke agreed dejected while Chloe smiled by the side.
Let the matchmaking begin!
She took her phone and called her boyfriend Hugo and told him what just happened.
"So what's the plan now?" he asked.
"Hey, love stories always start at the airport. It's called love at first sight."
She looked at her brother leaving the house and smiled in relief.
Luke just couldn't believe that he was sent to pick up some random girl. Reaching the airport, he held the name tag in his arms and continued playing his games.
Luke was so busy that he didn't know when Juliet arrived. Chloe's plan was for him to see Juliet's entry and fall in love with her at first sight but the guy's head was down. She wore a white long-sleeved classy blouse and black pants with sneakers.
Her luscious lack hair was bouncing behind her and her beautiful face brightened the place.
After searching around for her name, she and finally saw it in the hands of a twenty years old looking guy. He was tall and handsome. Especially that dark hair. His nonchalant behavior added a charm to his natured face. But that wasn't going to change the fact that he was supposed to be expecting someone. He was even holding the name tag upside down. She thought,  he must be my father's friend's son.
She walked towards him and introduced herself.
"Hi. I'm Juliet. The one who you came to pick up. " she said and he raised his eyes and looked at her briefly. Two round eyes met for the frist time but both were nonchalant.
"Oh, let's go." he said and headed outside. 
Oh, I guess I'll have to follow. They reached the car and he just entered inside. 
She stood there looking at him and he asked, "What are you waiting for? I have other things to do ."
"Well...I thought...never mind. Open up the boot."
A gentleman would have to help her carry my bag to the car and open the door for her, but him? All he cares She kept her bag and entered the car and he drove to their house.
Chloe was waiting curiously for her brother to return with the girl when she heard the beep of his car. Her eyes widened as she pinned her eyes on the door to see her entrance.
Suddenly a dashing lady walked into the door. OM G. Life is going perfectly! Her straight long black hair flowed down her shoulders and she had her eyeglasses holding it back. Even though her face was cold, it didn't spoil her charm instead it made her look like an aloof queen. Standing above all.
Chloe rushed in quickly and hugged her.
"Hi, I'm Chloe. Welcome to our home." she smiled spreading her arms.
"Thank you for the gesture.I'm Juliet li." she said in her soft voice that will just melt your heart.
Chloe looked at her hand and she was holding her suitcase. She turned to her brother an frowned. "Why didn't you take her bag brother?"
"I picked her up. Aren't you happy ?" he said and went back to his sofa and continued his damned game.
"You're such a gentleman!" she shouted at him.
She collected the suitcase from Juliet's hands. "Let's go. I'll show you to your room."  she said when Dad entered the house.
"Oh, Juliet is here."  he smiled.
 
"Mr. Cheng. Greetings to you." she greeted.
"Don't worry, no need for formalities. Chloe, go get her some juice and you Luke, carry her suitcase and escort her to her room." Dad ordered.
"Why me dad? " Luke snapped.
"Luke, do as I say."
He took a deep breath and grabbed the suitcase from her hands and they headed to the stairs.
Chloe looked at dad and uttered, "I hope our plan worked ."
"I doubt he even looked at her." Dad shook his head.
"Stop being a pessimistic Dad. That's just phase 1 out of my numerous plans for them."
Luke escorted Juliet to the room and dropped the suitcase. He showed her the room to enter and walked away unceremoniously. She just opened the door and entered. In a short time, Chloe entered with a glass of juice.
Later,
Chloe was on a video call with Hugo and she told him about Juliet's entrance.
"I'm telling you I've never seen a beautiful girl like her." she said her eyes shining.
"Seriously? " he probed.
"I'm serious. I'll send you her picture right away." she sent him the picture and he said, "She is beautiful." but he saw Chloe frown.
"What now?" he sighed despite knowing the reason.
"So you think she's the most beautiful girl in the world. " she pouted.
"She might be beautiful but not as beautiful as you. Now smile please." he insisted and she finally smiled. Hmmph, that's better.
"So what's the plan now?"
"We're going out jogging tomorrow,  I have a plan in mind. "
Later they sat at the breakfast table with dad and Luke. Dad asked her to go call Juliet and she went upstairs. She just finished dressing up and her closet was opened. To Chloe's surprise, her closet was just filled with black and white dresses. Chloe gasped and looked at her.
"What?" she asked.
"Don't you have any other clothes besides these?"
"Uhmm," she replied naturally.
Now that's a problem. She's just like my brother, wears nothing but black.
She told her that everyone is waiting for her downstairs for breakfast and they came down together.
"We're here," Chloe announced.
They sat down and started eating.
"Uhm Juliet, so you left your boyfriend back in Shanghai?" Chloe asked.
She stopped eating and said, "I don't have a boyfriend ."
"Oh. So you broke up with your ex?" she shook her head. "Huh?"
"I don't have an ex," she replied.
"So you're single." Chloe asked and she nodded.
"Just like my brother, he never had a girlfriend. " She looked at dad and smiled. At least we know she's single.
Juliet was about to reach for a bun on the plate, unknowingly Luke was reaching for it too. They looked at each other with annoyance, especially Luke. She took a deep breath and reached for another but Luke had the same. They looked at each other again with scowling eyebrows.
Chloe was hoping that Luke would be a gentleman for one and let her have it but he pinned down the bun with his fork and wasn't willing to let it go. Juliet wanted to give it to him when she interfered. "What are you doing brother? can you at least try to be reasonable for ones? Let her have it."
"I picked it first why should I give it to her?" he shamelessly asked.
"You're not serious." Chloe pushed his hand, picked up the bun, and gave it to Juliet.
She eyed him and sat down. He kept frowning his face acting like a child. He didn't finish eating and left the room.
Chloe simply chuckled but looking at Juliet, she was unhappy. Luke is making her feel unwelcome. Hey, idiot I'm trying to pair you up with somebody and you're blowing up your chances.
She have to think of a way to cheer Juliet up. "Hey, sis . Dont worry about that scumbag. Let's finish eating and have a girl talk. Okay?"
"Okay," she replied with a smile.
Done with breakfast the two girls went to the balcony downstairs. 
"Juliet, you're a very beautiful girl how come you never had a boyfriend?"
Chloe asked and she replied, "I don't have time for that."
"Oh" Well that's just for the time being.
"So, what about you how many boyfriends have you had, two?" she asked and Chloe laughed before responding.
"I stopped counting. The guy I went to prom with last year is not the one this year"
"Why is that?" she asked.
"You see, most of them are just not my type. I mean they couldn't put up with my attitude." Chloe replied with a sigh.
"So you're single now ." Juliet probed.
"No, I found someone who cares about who I am and what I want. He doesn't judge me for everything. He supports every crazy idea of mine. He doesn't care if I want to shop at the mall three times a day. We've been together for two years now." Chloe smiled.
"Tell me what you think about my brother?" she asked curiously.
"Huh?.....You mean Luke?" she stammered and Chloe nodded. "Don't be gentle. Tell me the truth.
"He's a moron." she said frankly and Chloe laughed hard. "Good one girlfriend!" She said and gave her a high five but she was whining inside. Brother, you idiot. You're making this hard.
What will I do now? Juliet already had a first bad impression of Luke. How can a guy be so dramatic? Chloe felt like pulling her brother's ears now.
Despite trying to start a conversation with Juliet, she found out that the girl was very few with words. Still better than staying with that blockhead.
