Abigail thought about it over night on what she will do because she was on bet on another University. As she was expected, Diether came back to the University and looked for her.
“Miss Abigail?” he called her from behind that made her surprised
Abigail tried to wear a smile to hide her anger, “Yes” she looked back “Oh, Diether is that you” she said trying to be cheerful then she walked towards him
Diether was very surprised on how Abigail acted, “So, what was your answer to my question yesterday?” he asked nervously
She gave him a sweet smile, “You don’t need to court me, from this day you’ll be my boyfriend” she said
He was very happy when he heard her answer and trying to hide his real intention to her. “Can I take you now?” he asked
She widened her eyes and laugh, “Don’t be in rush, this is our first day to be in the relationship” she said
He felt embarrassed on how she laugh, “Honey, don’t laugh me like that” he said blushing
“Oh, I’m sorry” she tried to stop herself from laughing “Where you wanted to go?” she asked
The day was begun for Abigail’s game, no one knew what her plan about that. Diether was very confident that Abigail didn’t knew about anything of these but she have Crissa to play for her. When he sent her home, he was very grateful that he already knew where she was living.
He tried to kiss her then Abigail put her index finger to his lips, “Not so fast” she was teasing him
He walked backward, “I’m sorry if I looked that fast” he said shyly
She gave him a sweet smile, “See you tomorrow, my love” she kissed him on the cheeks that made him happy
He nodded, “Yes, see you tomorrow” he said then he left.
When he was away, she stretched her body and sighed “What do you think of me?” she chuckles when she went inside their house “I’m very tired!” she said
Her mother looked at her, “Are you fine sweetie?” she asked
She sat down to the sofa, “I’m just tired Ma, what’s for dinner?” she asked when she felt her stomach crumbling
“I fried the chicken that I marinated last night” she answered
She immediately stood up when she heard fried chicken, “Can we eat now?” she was very excited
Her mother laughed at her, “You are like starving for the first time” she said
She walked towards the kitchen to look if the rice was already cooked but in her disappointment, she will wait five minutes more for the rice. She sat down to a stool and put her right palm to her chin, “I’m very hungry” she said
“Don’t worry, it’s near to cook” she gets the plates and cutleries to prepare the table. After five minutes, everything was set and Abigail ate like no tomorrow. Celine was very happy when she saw again her daughter with big appetite. After dinner, she was very full and happy because she enjoyed the food so much.
“I hope, you are like that everyday” she smiled to her daughter
She smiled widely, “I’m just very tired now, Ma” she answered “After this, I will go to my room and rest” she added
When everything was fine, she went to her room and lay down to her bed then called Crissa;
“Hello, sissy” she greeted her cheerfully “Can I ask a favor?” she asked
On the other line, Crissa was confused but not surprised “Abigail, what kind of favor and what are you thinking right now?” she asked while she was reading her book.
She changed her pace, “Can you do the make up again?” she asked smiling
“Huh?” she was thinking on what makeup she was talking “What makeup?” she asked
She laughed, “We did that yesterday, remember?” she said while biting her nail on her thumb
Crissa think about what happen yesterday, “Aha!” she hit her table “Don’t tell me?” she asked
She nodded, “Yes!” she can’t held her excitement “The makeup you used to me when we went to the University where Diether studying” she said
Crissa felt nervous about Abigail’s plan that time so she became silent for a while.
“Hey girl, are you still there?” Abigail asked “Crissa, are you still there?” she asked repeatedly until Crissa replied to her
“Girl, if you are planning something worst about Diether” she took a deep breath “I suggest don’t do it” she said
Abigail laughed at her, “Don’t be silly sis, it will not happen again” she answered “I just wanted to play his own game” she added
Crissa can’t say no to her request, “Okay but if you’ll do anything worst, I’ll be the one to stop you” she said
Abigail can’t deny that Crissa loves her so much in a way like a real sister to her. “Okay, I promise that I will not do anything that may hurt him or I” she answered
Crissa sigh as a sign of relief, “See you tomorrow, have a good night” then she ended up the call.
To their rooms, they are both thinking that what would be the result of the plans for Mr. University. The next day, she didn’t ask Diether to send her home. She just said to him that they have a project to finish in Crissa’s place and he believed it so easy. After their class, Abigail and her friends do what they needed to do, they make to her the same make over that they did the time before she answered yes to Diether’s courtship then they go to the University and looked for Naphtalie.
Everything was very fine between Abigail and Diether, they planned their future together as if there will be no cheating to their relationship. Diether was giving his best to be loved and trusted by his girl. Abigail did all the sweetest gestures and words that made him deeply fell in love to her, she did everything to make their relationship with a happy ending. They introduced each other to their families to be legal on both sides. They enjoyed every day with sweet talks and sweet gestures; it was like a happy ending. On their first month of love, he gave her a necklace with a promise that he will love her all his life.
Abigail can’t help herself to chuckle, “I am looking forward too, my love” she answered then she kissed him on the cheeks and looked to his eyes very sweet
Deither can’t helped himself, he kissed her on the lips, a passionate kiss that you can tell that he was deeply in love with her. When he felt that Abigail was in shock, he let go her from his kiss “I’m sorry, I’m just …” he can’t utter any words to what he have done “I’m just excited to kiss you, it’s been a month we are in relationship but I didn’t kissed you even once” he tried to explain himself to defend what he have done.
Abigail kissed him for a little moment, “It’s fine, since we are in our first month” she said smiling
He was relieved when Abigail did that, “You are not mad at me?” he asked with unbelief
She shook her head, “No” she uttered with a sweet voice that made Diether’s heart melted
He grabbed her waist and embraced so tight, “I love you my love” he said
While leaning to his shoulder, she was smiling and rolled her eyes “I love you too, my love” she said
The first month of being couple was very smooth for them, and looks like the bet was forgotten. They enjoy everyday together but as precaution, Abigail was with her friends always except to their dates every month. Eunice and Crissa can see how much Diether loves their friend and they felt guilty about the bet. After Diether drove them home, Crissa and Eunice stayed to Abigail’s room for a while.
They sat down to her bed, “Sis, what if you make your relationship with be serious?” Eunice asked her
Her eyes widened as she response to her suggestion, “I’m not dumb to believe him, and he placed a bet for me” she answered
Crissa sighed, “But Abigail, it looks like that he loves you so much at this time” she said “And if you will not end this as soon as possible, the incident will repeat” she added
She sat down next to them, “I know what are you saying but I wanted to win the bet” she reminded them
They are very frustrated on how she responded to them, “But Abigail, love was not to bet or something” Eunice said
“I know that, but he was the one who started it” she stood up and stretch her body “I’m just playing games with him” she added
Around ten o’clock in the evening, they went to their respective house with a pray that Abigail will change her mind about it. Days went by as Abigail’s plan and she was acting very well as a sweet girlfriend who deeply in love with her boyfriend. They celebrated their second month so sweet and like they are lovebirds that will never apart whatever happens. At that very special moment, Crissa and Eunice was there also to witness how Diether fell in love with her. They felt so guilty for him because they knew the ending of the love game. Days were already counted for the last pace of the bet, even they are very nervous for their friend they have no choice but to support her. On the third month to celebrate, Diether prepared very well because he wanted to propose to her to get married and a promise of love to forever.
In a very elegant place, Abigail sat down to a wonderful chair opposite him and took off the necklace then she gave it back to him, “I’m sorry, but let’s end this” she said sadly
He was very shocked that moment, “Why? Did I hurt you or did I did something wrong?” he asked nervously and his tears was dripping “Please, tell me” he begged “I’ll make it up to you” he added
She stood up, “I’m sorry but I can take it anymore, I don’t want to waste your time” she answered “I thought, I can love you but I can’t” she turned her back and walked away
Diether ran towards her and pulled her arm, “Wait a minute, I thought you love me?” he asked
She looked at him with a fainted eyes, “I assumed it in that way, but I realized last night that I only saw you the one who first broke my heart, I’m just longing for him not on your love” she pulled her arms from his embrace lightly “I’m sorry” she called a taxi and left.
Diether felt so much pain, he thought that he find the woman can make him change but it turns out that he failed. He was left alone to the place he prepared for the most important day for her.
When Abigail went home, she was surprised that Eunice and Crissa was there “Girls? What are you doing here?” she asked then she sat down to the couch
They looked at her, “We are just worried about you” Crissa answered
She looked at them and smiled, “Tomorrow, can you join me and get my prize?” she asked
The next day, after the class they went to the University where Diether studying and they looked for Naphtalie. At that time, Abigail wear the makeup she was used the first day they went there.
Crissa called the attention of Napthalie where she was with Diether also looking frustrated, “Hello, my friend wanted to get her prize to the bet” she said
Naphtalie laughed, “It looks like that your friend knew that Abigai well” she answered. She opened her bag and count the money in front of her, “Tell your friend that congratulations, but I still wondering how come she knew the exact date and time that Abigail will broke him up” she was still wondering
Diether was not in mood, “Naphtalie, I told you to stop the bet already because I learned to love her, she was not the kind of girl to cheat” he said. As they looked at him, it looks like that he regretted what he did.
Naphtalie looked at him and laughed, “Diether, you cheat so many girls here and I am one of them” she said “What was the feeling?” she added
“Eunice, can I have a wet tissue?” Abigail asked
Eunice was very nervous, “Is she damned serious?” she asked herself while she handed a bag of wet tissue to her
Abigail wiped her face so well that her makeup removed and everyone was shocked.
“Abigail?” Diether stunned for a while “How?” he was very shocked
“Do you think I will say yes to you that easy?” she said madly “You play a game with the wrong person, so thank you for the prize” she smiled “Let’s go girls” she turned her back
He can’t explain what he was feeling that moment, so he ran and grabbed her arm “Wait Abigail, let me explain” he said “It’s not my idea to bet for your heart” he tried to explain his reason to her
Abigail raised an eyebrow to him, “Do you think, I will believe to your reason?” she asked “Leave me alone, or I will tell to your parents the real reason why I broke up with you?” she added
He looked down, “I’m sorry, but I hope you can forgive me on what I did to you” he said
She laughed out loud, “Are you serious?” she keep on laughing “I don’t love you, even a little” she said
Those words were very painful to him, he remembered the sweet days that they spent together and all of that was only for the show.
She walked away with him with a smile on her face because there was another cheater who tasted his own medicine.
