FREYA POV
“AHH?” Amber said in shock
“Ahhhh, you agreed? It’s my lucky day today. Wahhh” I said screaming happily
I can’t believe that he agreed.
“Leo, get ready. Send Miss Methildis back home first.” he said
Back home? Yeyyy, finally.
“Yes, Your highness.’ Leo said and bow then he leave.
“See you my soon to be husband.” I said happily and followed Leo.
“My Lady, slow down. Wait for me.” Amber shouted.
Ohh, I almost forgot about amber.
“Okay, hurry up!” I said
PRINCE NEVILLE POV
“Nillan, get everything prepare. I’ll go to the Methildis mansion to propose a marriage tomorrow!” I said
It’s interesting to know that someone just confess thei love to me.
“Are you really going to marry her, your highness?” Nillan ask
I turn around to face him.
“Why not? It’s interesting and I have now someone to introduce with the crown prince if ever he wants to meet my girl.” I said and smirked.
He smiled. “I’ll go now to prepare betrothal present right now!” he said
THE NEXT DAY
ELIZA POV
“My Lord! My Lord! The 2nd prince is sending his visiting card! He’s proposing a marraige!” one of the gaurds reported.
The second prince is proposing a Marriage? Could that be me he is proposing? Oh my gosh, I can’t believe it.
“My Lord, the second prince is from the royal family and he moved here in the city to manage some business and it is said that he is a good looking. Is he proposing to Eliza?” Mother said to Father.
I feel excited.
“Mother.” I said shyly
Minutes later I heard some footstep and a young handsome man entered the room.
“Mr. Methildis. I’m Prince Neville.” he introduced
SO handsome.
“Mother I like him.” I said whispering to mom.
“Got it.” she replied.
Father face him.
“Your highness, make yourself at home. I don’t know what do you pay a visit for?” father ask him.
“I’ve heard that Miss Methildis isn’t engaged so I’m here to propose to her.” he replied
I smiled sweetly at him. He is so handsome.
“Your highness, you choose the right bride. Eliza is a noble lady, she’s tender and loyal and not engages. You two are well matched.” mom said
I smiled lovingly at the prince.
FREYA POV
I woke up because of the noise downstairs. So I forced myself to go down.
“Madam, I’m here for…” a familiar voice said but he didn’t finished his words when I came in.
“Why is it so noisy early in the morning. What happened?” I said rubbing my sleepy eyes.
“Freya, we have a honored guest here. Look at you, you look nothing like a fair lady! Go back to your room.’ mistress said annoyingly
How dare she tell me to go back to my room?
I looked to see who’s the guest. And my eyes opened wide when I recognize it.
“You..” I didn’t finished my words when the mistress hold my hands.
“This is the second prince and he’s proposing to your sister today. Don’t be rude.!” she said. “Your highness, please excuse her for this.
He really comes. And what did this ugly witch says? He is proposing to Eliza? Ha, I guess she misunderstand.
“Madam, I’m indeed proposing a marraige today…” he didn’t finished his words when the witch spoke again.
She is so annoying.
“I know, take a seat first and let’s discuss about it in detail…” now she didn’t finished her words when he speak.
Father looked annoyed at her too.
“Can you let me finished my sentence?” the prince said
It turns out that she wants to fix her beloved daughter with the Prince. If she knows that this true intention is, hahaha well I’m waiting for a good show today.
“My dear Prince, I just know you will come. Have a good chat with my sister. I;m taking my leave first.” I said while holding his hands.
I was about to leave when he suddenly caught my waist and pulling me closer to him and he touch my lips using his fingers. I was so shock that I have no time to react.
He then looked at me sweetly.
“I haven’t seen you just for a day but I feel like it has been a decade, I’m afraid you will regret it so I hurried to come today to propose.” he said.
My heart beat faster at what he said.
“Mr. Methildis, actually I’m here to propose to Miss Freya.” he said looking at my father while smiling.
Father looked so surprised and the witch and her daughter is so shock and their face darkened.
“Father?” I called him when he didn’t reply.
Looks like he will agree? And he looks like he wants to cry. I felt guilty.
“Father, if you’re sad I don’t want to get married and I will accompany you forever.” I said in teary eyes.
But suddenly I felt the prince hand in my waist, and whispered to me.
“You’ve found out my secret and your on my side now. I think you’d better say yes or my men won’t spare you.” he said
I’m not afraid in him now, hump this arrogant man.
“I’m in love with you duaghter Freya at the first sight and I only want to marry, please say yes Mr. Methildis.” he said to father.
Then father looked at us happily.
“No problem! Your highness, please take a seat.’ Father said gesturing the prince to seat.
Then I sit in the in chair that is near to the prince and Eliza is beside me while the mistress is in the opposite seat with me.
XANDER METHILDIS (FREYA’S FATHER)
Freya is now 18 but she’s too naughty. She even scared all the men that tries to pursue her who are willing to marry her. But finally someone caught her and he is the apply of my eyes, he looks perfect as her husband. I’m not gonna worried anymore.
I guestured him to seat beside me and the maids poured a wine in our glass.
“Your highness, where do you live now? How old are you?” I ask him
Well, I also need to know the man that my daughter will be marrying, I don’t want her to marry a scumbug.
“I am 23 years old from the capital city. I run some shops and own a lot of mansions. I leave the palace years ago to live in the city and managed my own business. Though I’m not as rich as you but rest assured I can provide your daughter her needs.” he replied
What a humble man.
“Your highness you are so humble.” my replied to him
FREYA POV
“Your highness, now that you’re proposing to Freya, why haven’t you brought any betrthall present? Are you looking down on her so not willing to give present?” the mistress said
Hump, she’s so arrogant she just want to get the betrothal.
“Sorry, it must be my fault to make myself misunderstood.” he replied. “Nillan bring the presents.”
Then some men entered the room with a lot of large blue box in their hands.
“Mr. Methildis this is the present that my prince prepared for you. Hope you liked them.” Nillan said
Wow, that’s a lot of gifts
“Quite good.” father said happily
“But how can a laddy marry earlier than her elder sister?” the mistress said
Hump, she just can’t accept that I’ll marry a noble man.
“It makes sense! But if she meets her Mr. Right, it would be fine besides his highness already said that he loves Freya so there won’t be a problem.” Father replied.
That’s my father, I know he loves me the most.
“Your highness,we’ve all doted on Freya since she was a child, so she’s really been spoiled. She can’t even do sewing work, let alone become a good wife and mother. She’s not good enough for you. But Eliza is virtous and tender..” the mistress didn’t finished her words when I spoke.
Hump this ugly witch.
“Right, Eliza is really virtous and tender.” I replied
But a strong hands caught my hands. And Neville looks at me.
“I don’t marry a servant girl so she doesn’t have to do swing work and chores. I will give you the best thing I have.” he said caressing my face.
My heart beat faster, arghhh what happened to me now.
“Madam, Miss Eliza, I marry Freya just because I love her and I want to take good care of her rather than marry her and let her serve me.” he said
Why did he become like this suddenly? He become so cooperative.
“Father, she gets close to a man when she’s not married yet. That’s shameful.” Eliza suddenly speak.
This ugly bitch. I automatically removed my hands in his hold and covered my face in embarassed.
“Your highness, I already kniw your feeling. Why not stay here for a few days amd have a detailed discussion with me? Besides this is my beloved daughter’s wedding.” Father said
Ehh? Let him stay here for a few days?
I looked at Neville who’s surprised too. I give him a look that says “Refuse it, otherwise they will see that we were faking it.”
But he just smiled at me.
“No problem, I’ll do as you ordered.” he replied
What the heck! Why did he agreed?
Father smiled and stand up.
“Freya, the guest room are used are as storage for new things. You will make an arrangement for His Highness accomodation.” he said
What? Me? Why me? Am I the servant girl now?
“Me?” I said
Why me? Why can’t just father ordered the servant to prepare the room for him? Arghh this is so annoying.
Eliza approach father and hold his hands.
“Father, you pick a good man for Freya, how about me? This is not fair.” she complain
Father’s face darkened and looked at Eliza.
“I should have kept you grounded! Go back to your room and reflect yourself.” father said angrily.
Hahaha, she desrved it! Father leave the room and I lead Neville in my room.
Why does Father wants me to arramge a room for him? What does he mean?
“Well.”
“Well.”
We both looked embarass when we speak the same words at the same time.
“You go first.” he said
“Ehh?” I sighed. “ Allright, this is your room. I’ll ask someone to clean up the guest room…” I shyly said
Amber that is beside me was surprised.
“My Lady, this is your room. Are you going to live together with him?” she said
What the heck is she talking about? I have no choice for now because all the rooms is not available.
“What are you talking about! Father ask me to arrange a room for him, but all the guest rooms are filled with goods, so I have to clean up a place for him!” I repleid
I blushed thinking that a man who’s soon to be my husband entered my room. I didn’t leave anywhere my underwear right?
“Your room?” he ask
I waved my hand at him shyly.
“Don’t get it wrong, I’m showing my hospitality.” I said nervously
But he caught my hands and pushed me in the wall and corner me with his hands.
“What’s wrong?” he ask
I’m so embarrass that I find no words to say.
“It’s…. come in I have something to discuss with you.” I suddenly
Goshh, this is so awkward, how could I easily said that? What do I need to discuss with him? I am so stupid.
I free myself in his hands and get in my room first.
“Come in.” I said when I saw that my room is not messy.
He entered my room together with Amber and his guard. He sit in the opposite chair with me in my table and Amber poured a wine for him.
“Now that we are going to get married fofr different purposes, we’d better make them clear first.
He stated. Yeah, it’s better to make it clear first.
“Sure.” I replied
“I need your money and your mouth shut. Remember you’re doing this for your own life.” he said
Ha! I’m not even afraid of him now. I know he won’t kill me.
I slammed my hands in the table angrily.
“I’ll pay you and also keep everything in secret, but I have a request too!” I said
He smiled at me.
“Oh?” he said
I folded my arms in chest and looked at him.
“I’m very concern about my reputation. So, we have to behave like a loving couple in front of others. I don’t want the to make fun of me.” I said
Ehhh? Why is getting closer to me again. He reached his hands into my face and lifted my chin.
“That’s easy, but I’m afraid that you might have some improper thoughts..” he said smiling.
Why does he keep getting closer to me?
“I-I won’t” I said nervously
He smiled and wihdraw his self away from me. Hooo, that’s better.
“So? Deal?” he ask
Well, I don’t have a choice now so there’s no turning back.
“Deal!”I replied confidently
So let’s get along well.” he said and walking pass by me but stopped when he is beside me. “My future wife. Since we’re not married yet, I’d better live in the guest room, I won’t let others judge you because of this, my sweetheart.”he said leave my room
Neville just you wait and see! I’ll make you fall inlove with me some day.
XANDER POV
“My lord, His highness left Miss Freya’s room and settled in the gues room.” the servant reported.
I see his a good man. Now, I won’t worry if I died knowing that she has someone to protect her now.
“He’s a good mannered.”
