Kinsley POV
Kapag mayaman ka they think puro pasarap na lang sa buhay ang ginagawa mo but that's not true. Dahil sa yaman namin marami bagay na hindi ko magawa at maniwala man kayo o hindi mga bago pa lang sa'kin ang mga nararanasan ko ngayon. Entering this academy, studying with peers my age, making friends—these are all new to me.
"Ate Kinsley, come with us on Saturday, let's go for a stroll!" I just forced a smile at Kade at muling tumingin sa harap para makinig kay Ma'am Saki na ngayon ay nagtuturo pa 
"Can you just shut up?" Kreed retorted irritably, clearly annoyed by Kade's incessant chatter. It seemed like he was getting annoyed because Kade had been talking nonstop. 
"And that's our lesson for today, good bye class" 
"Sama ka na Ate Kinsley!" Kade persisted, pulling at the sleeve of my blazer
"A-ano kasi . . .  Hindi ko sure kung makakasama ako" he pouted at my response.
"Minsan lang naman and we'll be quick, I promise!" sabi nito at tinaas pa ang kanyang kanang kamay na para bang na nunumpa. 
He's not my classmate, and he's only eight years old, kaya hindi ko alam kung bakit nandito siya sa room namin at kung bakit hinahayaan lang siya ni Ma'am Saki. 
"She said she's not sure, respect her answer idiot" we both turned to Kreed, who was already holding his bag. He raised an eyebrow at us before turning and leaving.
"Ang sungit niya" I heard Kade whisper, looking at the door where Kreed exited.
2:00 o'clock na ng hapon at kami na lang pala ang natitira dito sa loob ng classroom. Nakangiti kong tiningnan si Kade "Let's have lunch. My treat" aya ko na kinalawak ng ngiti niya. 
"That's what I am waiting for!" he exclaimed enthusiastically and in an instant, he was pulling me towards the cafeteria. His steps were fast, and I could barely keep up, mabuti na lang talaga at hindi pa ako nadadapa. 
"Teka huwag ka mag madali" suway ko dito at mabuti naman at nakinig. 
Napakamot siya sa ulo niya at nahihiya ako tiningnan "Sorry, I got excited" ginulo ko ang buhok nito at kinurot ang may katabaang pisnge niya. 
"It's hurts Ate Kinsley" reklamo niya kaya binitawan ko na dahil ngayon ay namumula na. 
"Hindi ka ba hahanapin ng parents mo?" I asked him because he's been in our room since earlier, talking to me while I was in class. I noticed because he hasn't left since our class started. He's been hanging out in our room for almost five hours.
Umiling siya na kinakunot ng noo ko "My father was busy while my mother didn't know that I existed" 
My eyes widened, feeling guilty for asking, but I was really curious "W-why?" 
Mapait siyang ngumiti at binaba ang hawak niyang kutsara "When I was just five months old, my mom had an accident. She suffered from amnesia, causing her to forget me. Up to this day, she still doesn't remember me" 
Hindi ko alam na sobrang sakit pala ng pinagdadaanan niya. Hindi rin pumasok sa isip ko na may ganito siyang problema kasi sa ilang oras na nakasama ko siya lagi lang itong nakangiti. But I forgot that just because someone is smiling doesn't mean they're happy. “Not all smiles reflect genuine joy. Some people use smiles to hide their true emotions, not to deceive, but to protect themselves” I read that in my favorite novel, which I'm currently reading.
"S-sorry" nasabi ko na lang "Kakausapin ko ang pinsan ko kung pwede ako sa Saturday" 
"Young master Kade" we both looked at a guy in black "The Head Master is looking for you" he said, and Kade sadly stood up and looked at me.
"Thanks for the food" he forced a smile before turning to follow the guy, but they hadn't gone far when he looked back at me "Uhm, I forgot to tell you. I'm Cassius Kade Vaughn. My father is the headmaster of this academy" sabi niya na kinagulat ko. 
Their family is the fifth most prominent and wealthiest family here in our country. Their family is also known for business, and if I'm not mistaken, I've seen Kade's Dad visit our mansion once. At ang alam ko pa, magkaibigan ang mga Vaughn at Asteria kaya madalas bumisita sa amin ang dad niya. 
"You look stupid" I blinked and glanced at the person sitting in front of me now, boredly munching on fries. 
"K-kanina ka pa dyan?" I asked embarrassedly because I must have looked really stupid while lost in thought. Hindi ko lang talaga kasi inaasahan na isang Vaughn pala si Kade. 
"I've been here since that Pikachu left" he replied, still focused on his fries.
Pikachu? Was he referring to Kade?
I bit my lower lip uncomfortably, not feeling at ease sitting with him at the same table, especially with so many eyes watching us now, observing our every move.
"If you want you can eat this. Hindi ko 'to kayang ubusin sayang" I offered, and he glanced at me before his gaze fell to the table.
Kade and I supposed to eat together until the guy who came to pick him up arrived, but the problem was we bought too much food, and I couldn't possibly finish this everything. 
"You bought so much . . .  " sabi niya at napangiti na lang ako nang kumuha din naman siya "Thanks"
"Welcome!" sabi ko rito at pinagtuunan na ng pansin ang pagkain ko. The dishes in front of me weren't familiar, but they looked delicious, and just the aroma made my mouth water.
I picked up my spoon and started tasting the foods we bought. I didn't expect the first bite to be delicious, so I eagerly tried the others, and just like the first one, they were all tasty! Kapag nakauwi ako I will request this food to our chef. Ang sarap! 
"Is this the first time you tried to eat such food?" Kreed suddenly asked, looking at me, kaya naman bigla ako nahiya. 
"Yup" 
"Uhm . . .  okay" But before that, I heard him say something unclearly.
"Cute"
Confused, I decided to ignore it, but I'm not sure if I was just seeing things, but it seemed like he smiled? 
It's awkward but I don't care basta masarap ang pagkain ko!
