I was shocked when I heard that I am one of the chosen candidates to fight in the Centurial Commoners Game. Papa and Dada always told me about the CCG, and its golden prize. They said that only the eighteen years old children can be the candidates of CCG. The prize is a big catch as whoever the winner, would be titled as the new nobility of Seleno Kingdom. Being nobility means you have a lot of powers and you can give your family a good and wealthy life, which I dreamed of the most. But I lost all my hopes as my Phile is one of the weakest Phile in the whole Apophyllite. I studied hard to know the strength and weakness of my Phile. I also did some experiment, so that I can be one of the Centurial Commoners Game before. But now, I can't believe that this day came, where I call to be one of the chosen candidates.
"Salana, are you okay?" I heard Dada Dale calling my attention. So, I blinked and shook my head side by side. "No, Dada. I can't believe this is happening." I said, out of my mind.
"Congratulations, Ms. Salana Tempest. I'm going out now, many other candidates are waiting for me," The Minister said and walked out to our home immediately. After the Minister vanished our sight, I looked at Dada at Papa.
"How's this happened, dada, papa? Isn't it, to be qualified as one of the CCG Candidates is to send your application to the institution that handles the registration for CCG?" I asked. Going to the Royal Capital, where the institutions and other branches of government that handle different responsibilities for the prosperity and peace in the whole Kingdom are placed, is very expensive. We can recover the money we spent for the success of you dream." Papa Danny added. Tears suddenly fell from my eyes. I ran to them and hugged them tightly.
"T-Thank you, Papa and Dada. I promise that I will never let you down," I said. I heard Papa Danny sobbing. "You will leave by tomorrow to go to the battle ground. We're going to watch the one month duration of the Centurial Commoners Game to cheer you up." Dada Dale said, and it made me cry out like a baby born baby. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I shouted while still mewling. They freed me from their hugs and Dada Dale wiped my tears out.
"Shhh, stop crying already. It seems that you inherited your Papa Danny's personality, and that is being a cry baby," Dada Dale said, and it made me laugh. "You're so mean, Honey. Hmp!" Papa Danny said while pouting. Dada Dale just sighed.
"Okay, Lana. You need to go back to your room and sleep all day, so that you can gain a lot of mana. So, that, you would not drain your mana in actual Game," Dada Dale commanded. I frowned because of that. "But, I want to help in our hotel." I said. They cheered and patted my head. "I'll be the one in charge in the hotel starting from now." Dada Dale said. So, I just exhaled, and tried to smile. After that I went to my room and closed my eyes.
"Please, Omni-Supreme. Guide and bless me from my upcoming journey..." I said. But, I just thought of something. "Gezzz, a new journey means new bad and good people. I don't know if I can trust a person again." I uttered. I still can't move on from what the other people did to me that cause me to die. Worst of all, they are my trusted friends. I don't know if I can manage to make a bond with others and make them my friends, Because, even if I used to work at our hotel, I did not talk to them and no one wanted to approach me as I acted as a very ignorant person to them. And I can say that is my greatest defense mechanism. After a few minutes, my eyes closed and I fell asleep after...

The next day...
I heard a series of knocks on my room's door. After that, I heard Papa Danny shout, "Sala. Your service is here!"
So, I stood up and opened the door. Then, I saw Papa's face with a broad smile on his lips.
"Did you already pack your things and take a bath?" He asked, and it made me re-energize as I did not do any of that. So, I immediately went to the bathroom. "Papa, help me! Please, pack my things!" I shouted while in the bathroom. Papa just sighed and I heard him unzipping the bag where he's going to place my things such as clothes, medicine, and etc...
After a few minutes...
We are currently outside our home and saying our farewells.
"Take care of yourself there, Lana!" Papa Danny yelled while crying. I just caressed his back and nodded. "Of course, papa." I replied, and it made him swivel.
"Shhh, stop that, Honey!" Dada Dale shouted in the sound of irritation.. So, Papa just resist to cry. Then, Dada Dale looked at me with a sweet smile. "Good luck and goodbye, Lana." Dada Dale said. So, I smiled and nodded. Then, I turned around and hopped into the Griffin that was driven by one of the Royal Guards. Then we flew away...
"New journey will begin. I could meet new bad people that will break my trust again," I said to myself. After that, I took a deep breath...
