"B-but Dad,why so suddenly?!" I reacted
"I already thought about it and I'm sure you'll be fine...Better actually" he simply said then sip his coffee
"But my friends are here in LA!I don't want to leave them...They're the best friends I've ever have!" I complain... I don't want to go to the Philippines!
"You'll find some new friends in the Philippines... And you'll be back here in LA every holidays to visit us and your friends" he said that make me frowned
'Visit them?'
"What do you mean by visit you?...Aren't you coming with us?" I almost forgot about kuya...he never said anything when dad mention about studying in the Philippines... Maybe he doesn't agree too!
"We'll come with you to the Philippines then back after a few days cuz we have a business here and we don't want to leave our house unguarded" Mom stated...I thought she wouldn't agree cuz we will be apart but I guess I thought wrong
"You two will be living with your brother cuz we already talked about it and he agrees...You don't need to worry cuz his condo is enough for you three...And you're going to study in the same school as him so you'll be fine"I guess he already thought about it...
"B-but...I can't understand Filipino!" I lied...
"Sweetie,your learning to speak Filipino every weekends right?You have a tutor"
Right...That's the reason why I can't go out with my friends every weekends... Because of that learning on how to speak Tagalog thing...I'm kinda fluent already actually and Mom said I really need to study it cuz its her own language and that can help me if ever I can visit in the Philippines...
And guess what,I'm studying there...Haha...Tsk
"You keep lying even if it is really obvious" Kuya said while laughing...

"W-what if they bully me there!" Just keep giving them reasons Mia!!!
"Your brother already said that its a student-friendly school...No need to worry"

"B-but...but..." I can't think of other reasons anymore!!
"Sweetie,you'll be fine...Philippines is a really great place...Why don't you ask your Kuya when he visits here on vacation...For sure you'll like it there" Mom said while smiling
I didn't said Philippines is NOT a great place...I just don't want to leave LA especially my friends... I spend my whole life living here!
"Ok,that's settled...You two will be studying there and there's nothing you can do about it...Especially you Mia" Dad said then stand up ready to go to work
'There's really nothing I can do about it'
"Let me take you to your car hon" Mom said then go out together with dad
I left there unable to speak then faced Kuya Yago with a 'cant-believe-look'
"Kuya,you really agree to what dad said?!" I stated with a shocking expression
"You heard him..There's nothing we can do about it...And of course I agree cuz I wanted to transfer anyway" he said then continue to eat his food
"Don't you have friends to be left out here?" I asked
"Nope" he simply said
'Well,to think about kuya Yago's personality,he is an 'Introvert'kind of man...He doesn't open up much and he's very poor at socializing except of course to me and our parents'
"What would I tell to my friends?!" I asked then continue to eat
"Why don't you just hang out with them after graduation before we took flight to the Philippines... Spend some time with them...I'm sure that's enough,right?"he said then wiped his mouth sign that he already finishes eating
"You really won't understand my feelings...Of course it isn't enough"I said then rolled-eyes...He just laugh so I frowned at him
" Whatever...Finish your food I'll just be upstairs"
'Psh...For sure he'll study again...Come to think of it,our exam is in 2 weeks...Should I study?Nah...My brain can handle it without reviewing...I'll just have to be lucky to get a passing score...That's always happening to me'

Its already Monday and here I am excited to go to school not to study but to meet my friends..Nice,right?
"Mia,your kuya is waiting outside!" Mom shouted from the kitchen
I hurriedly walk downstairs to go outside
"We'll be going now Mom" I gave her a kiss on the cheeks before going outside
"Be careful on your way!"
"We will!"

"Kuya,what time is it?" I asked while his busy driving
"For sure its quarter to 8:00" I nod when he answered...We'll be there just in time for class..Our ride from home is up to 5 minutes so we can make it
I didn't get to check my phone since yesterday evening cuz I'm busy checking my notes...
Dad said I should study so I didn't have a choice since he asked kuya to study with me...I didn't get to study well cuz just trying to memorize some words is already ruining my brain...Just kidding...
'I really hate studying'
"We're here..." He said then parked his car in the school parking area
"Kyahhh...He's here!"
"OMG!How's my look?Am I pretty?"
"Be ready he's coming out!"
I almost forgot about Kuya Yago's fans...I'm used to it already cuz hello,they do that every morning!
"I'll be going now...How about you have a little chat with your fans" I said while smiling...
"How dare you leave me here...We'll go together" he said that makes me laugh..I know kuya hates to be with people especially with someone like his fans...I wonder what it feels...Haha...I really love teasing him...He gets to tease me so I think its fair right?
Thank God we escaped in that crowd!
We took almost half a minute to get out from there...Now I pity Kuya
"Kuya,I'll go to my room now...I'll be late so I need to hurry" I said then ran not minding about his response
'I hope I'm not late!!!'

I'm almost at the door of our room so I took a deep breath so that I don't look haggard in front of my classmates
"Sis!" Sam's voice is the first thing I heard when I stepped into the room
'Good thing our professor is still not here'
"Good morning...How's your weekend?" I asked then sat beside her
"Its fine...I get to hang out my family so I'm happy...Its sad your parents didn't allow you to go out" she said while pouting
"I'm used to it...How about you Cassie?" I faced her then she heave a sigh
"My God sis! Its the worse weekend I've ever have!" She reacted then cover her face
"What happened?" I'm worried
"I really can't believe Mom set me on a date with her Friend's son!" She exclaimed that made Sam and Violet laugh
'I don't know how to react cuz Mom and Dad never allow me to have a boyfriend...Even a suitor...So I don't know how it feels'
"Is he handsome?" Violet asked with a smirk
'How could she ask that while she already have a boyfriend? Hayysst...Well,she is Violet'
I can't help but to smile
"Well she is handsome and I think base on his body built,he is kinda hot and sexy" Cassie explained then bit her lower lip
Base on her expression right now,I don't think she hates that date...
"Well,me and Violet have a boyfriend then Cassie already have a date...How come you don't have one Mia?" Here goes Sam...I didn't expect her to ask me that!
"Well...Uhmm"What should I tell them?!
"Let me guess,its your parents again right?" I can't protest with Violet cuz she's right but I know Mom and Dad just want me to focus on my studies
"Well,yeah...I can't blame them and even I don't want to have one...I'm not ready with that yet and I still want to focus on my studies" Studies?Nice reasoning Mia...You hate to study remember?You're not like Kuya Yago!
"Well,its your choice...We'll just have to support you" Cassie said with a smile
'I remember what my Dad said about studying in the Philippines.. What would my friends say if I tell them...Can they understand me?I hope they will cuz there's nothing I can do about it
"Ok class,Please be seated"
Prof's here...Then maybe I should tell them some other time?
