We don't come to school together. Usually, ako nauuna o kaya naman siya. Basta hindi magsasabay. Kaya lang matigas minsan si Daniel, ayaw niya akong sundin. Kaya kapag ganoong iniinis niya ako, hindi ko siya pinapansin kapag nasa bahay na kami.
Ngayon naman nauna ako sa school which is just okay. Naglakad na ako agad papuntang room ko. And as usual, walang nakakapansin sa akin. Kahit dito sa mga blockmates ko. Kahit noong sinundo ako sa room ko ni Daniel, walang naging curious sa pagkatao ko even my classmates.
They maybe thought Daniel was just ordered to or whatever. Masunuring estudyante din naman si Daniel e, maloko lang. Kaya hindi nila pinagdududahan ang pagsundo niya sa akin.
And as always, the day went so well. Wala ngang nanggulo sa akin. Hindi ko nakita ni anino man lang ni Daniel. Which is great because I have quiz for my 3 consecutive courses. Nakakapagreview lang din ako kung mag isa ako at tahimik ang paligid.
Sa likod ng school din kasi may mga puno doon which is project dati ng mga student noon na ngayon ay lumago na at naging mini-park na ng school. Dito ako madalas tumambay at dito rin ako palaging nahahanap ni Dan kapag gusto niya akong guluhin. At sa buong break ko na andoon ako, hindi ko talaga siya nakita. Kahit noong nasa canteen ako, his friends are not there also.
Nandito ako ngayon sa isang coffee shop to do all my tasks, I have many position paper to make and even projects in Art na talaga namang kinakasakit ng ulo ko.
When someone calls from my phone. I immediately answer it kahit hindi ko pa nakikita ang caller. Nakaheadset naman ako kaya kahit hindi ko na kuhain ang phone ko, maririnig ko pa rin siya.
[Where are you?] a cold baritone voice welcomed me. I suddenly stops typing on my laptop, shocked that Dan call me.
I collected myself before typing again ang answering him, "Nearby." I shortly said which he answered right away.
[Where nearby? D*amn it. Answer me completely where you are.] yeah I left him in confuse and I didn't expect him to ask for more.
"Mister, stop cursing. And I'm just nearby our condo. Will you calm down now?"
"You're expecting me to calm down just by a mere information of your whereabouts? Lady, if you're not aware it's already 10! Hindi ganitong oras ang uwi ng matinong babae." sinesermonan na niya ako, goodness!
"Mister, I'm just a few blocks away from our condo and I'm studying for Pete's sake. That matinong babaeng tinutukoy mo probably nasa probinsya. Doon ka at hanapin mo!" sudden irritation of me builds up that I can sense some of the crew is now watching me.
"And where is that place you were studying at? Pwede naman dito bakit kailangan mo pa magpalipas ng oras dyan? Hindi na nga kita nakita ng buong araw ang tagal mo pa umuwi." his last statements...smells something fishy.
"You miss me now, huh?" I jokingly asked. Natatawa pa nga ako by that mere thought. Puwede ba iyon? Isang araw lang nawala mamimiss mo na agad pero hindi mo naman mahal?
But my laugh faded when he answered me, "Yes, babe. I miss you. Uwi kana please..." left me dumbfounded.
Pinatayan ko na nga lang siya. Walang matinong sagot kapag siya kausap, potek!
Matalim ang titig ko sa kakapatay lang na tawag ng may tumawag ulit sa akin.
"Zan? Zaniella?" a tall man approach me that later I recognizes. Agad akong tumayo at nag ayos ng damit.
"Zach!" I cheerfully called him too. Nagbeso beso din kami which is very common for him. He's my only friend I could put my full trust on.
"Bitch, why are you here ba at so late hour?" we sat down. His order gradually served on my table. Agad kong iniusog ang gamit ko at dali daling ipinasok ang mga ito sa bag ko.
"I'm studying, duh! Ikaw ba, bakit andito ka?"
He look at the waiter first before turning to me.
"Ang pogi kasi ng waiter dito, bet ko!" sabay kaming natawa. Goodness, hindi pa rin pala siya nagbabago.
"How was medicine-degree by the way?" he took up Medicine instead of going to military. Actually, military talaga first choice niya noong mga high school. Times where he knew he's straight. But things changed before we come to college.
He's bisexual. He gets easily attracted to boys than to girls now, but he still get attracted to girls just not as much as who boys.
"Girl, ang hirap sumakit ang bangs ko sa bawat terms doon goodness. Kung alam ko lang na ganito kahirap, hindi ko na kinuha." we both sip on our coffee before I dig in on his plate. May cake kasi siyang inorder e gutom na ako, ako nalang kumakain ng sa kaniya. Wala naman siyang pake doon kaya tuloy tuloy nalang din ako sa pagkuha.
"Bakit hindi ka mag shift?" I asked while in the midst of eating.
"Kasi naman, ang popogi ng mga professors ko ang hirap nila iwanan, huhu!" natawa ulit ako sa sagot niya. He looks manly though his mind is filled with girly-ish.
"As if namang may pake sila."
"Ang sakit mo naman magsalita. Itusok ko sa ngala ngala mo yang tinidor e." he jokingly said that makes me laugh again. I'm really happy when I'm with him.
Maybe because he's comfortable to be with. And his vibes, nakakaloka!
"Well, good thing nagkita tayo. Pinapasabi pala ni Papa na gusto ka niyang makita together with your husband." only few people knows about me being married. At isa na siya doon and his family.
"Hmm, I'm not very sure with Dan but I'll surely come there." I comfortably sitted then sip on my coffee.
"Duh, kahit huwag kana lang pumunta iyong fafa mo nalang!" I glared at him.
"How dare you! Ako ang kaibigan mo, fyi!" asik ko sa kaniya. Natawa lang naman siya. Na ikinatawa ko rin.
"Sige ha! Itong saturday, free ka?" saturday is two days from now. I can rush all my assignments until tomorrow so maybe I can.
Sasagot na sana ako when suddenly someone sit beside me and possesively wrapped his arm around my waist and intently looking at Zach.
"So, you're having a chill date with your...hmm friend." he doubtly speak the word friend.
"Dan, stop it! Walang ginagawa sa iyo iyong tao kung makatingin ka naman. And so what kung nagdedate kami? Duh...we're friends." I sarcastically said.
"And so what if you're husband don't know it? Ha? Hakdog ka! Who told you to date with someone without me?" he's literally shouting now. Veins in his neck are showing. And his face turns red.
"Calm down will you? Paanong date iyon kung kasama ko? It was just a friendly date. We suddenly crosses our path here and not planning to."
Still his stares is intense.
"We need to go home. Sa bahay natin ito pag-usapan." he's now calmed but I'm not going yet.
Inalis ko ang pagkakahawak niya sa akin, "We're not yet done here. Stop ordering me around!" now my irritation with him comes back. Mabuti nalang walang tao bukod sa amin at sa mga crew.
"It's okay, Zan. You can just go to our house this Saturday. Doon nalang tayo mag catch up!" Zach finally answered. But his answer was very crucial.
"What? May plano ka pang pumunta sa bahay nila?" he's now mad again. Pahamak naman. Tinignan ko si Zach with a look of 'ikaw sumagot dyan'. And thankfully he understands it.
"Ahh, Daniel, my father wants to meet Zan and you. You two will go to our house hehe." that calmed him too again.
"Okay, since tapos na kayo uuwi na kami ng asawa ko." agaran niyang sinabi. Magpoprotesta pa sana ako ng hatakin na niya ako kasama ang bag ko.
Wala na rin akong nagawa kaya nagpaalam na ako kay Zach. I saw him waved his hand to me. Kaya naman lumingon nalang ako kay Dan with my irritating eyes.
Nakarating na kami sa kotse niya when he suddenly corner me.
"Akala ko ba nag-aaral ka, bakit iba ata?" he growl with a low voice.
"Tumigil na akong mag-aral noong dumating siya." the answer didn't satisfied him, I know. Pero pinapasok na niya ako agad sa kotse at umikot siya sa driver seat.
Then, he maneuver the car professionally yet fast. Mabilis kaming nakarating sa building at makapasok ng condo due to his pagmamadali.
And I got scared when he cornered me between the door and intensely staring right through the orbs of my eyes.
Omo! What will he gonna do?
